Problem is, there’s a lot of cheaters on console. Or there was, I haven’t played in a bit, but yeah last time I played for the prior 2 months almost every duel match was against tanks moving faster than lightweights, and lightweights that have more ap thank tanks, and people with infinite or unbreakable poise (either taking no stamina dam or having a full bar but not breaking from a point blank charged coral oscillator or coral missile or earshot.), and once or twice I encountered a guy who was rapid firing every stun weapon. Also cases of the ac model in match doesn’t match the ac model in the post match review.
Seamless Co-Op and Rougelike are what is going to keep AC6 around for the foreseeable future. I have already invaded and cleared a team of two with my STEEL HAZE Mk. II build and a solo host with my HEAD BRINGER (ALL MIND) Mk. II though the host was fighting CEL 240. As for rougelike, I find rolling for random parts after completing each mission very fun as it is fun trying to put together a build that works. My current run I was fortunate to get the turner, pile bunker and two different missiles. It should carry me to victory, but I am only in chapter 3 so we will see when I get back to it this weekend.
Mobi. I like that you just want "Rule of cool" to win out. Your heart is in the right place. However, If there are invasions. The PVE cannot be balanced as you have described it in this podcast. PVP with invasions is a part of the gameplay loop. For that reason all the parts should be balanced toward PVP. However, this shouldn't be an end all. They should make parts that abide by the rule of cool. Best example is legit the plasma slicer, and the chainsaw. The napalm launchers. All of those big Laser cannons, etc. We need more parts that are "Cool". Cool parts can be balanced too. Imagine a napalm Bazooka? Less damage but builds up Heat strain. That seems like rad utility. Vertical missiles that split on the downward trajectory, Making vertical missiles not useless. They could add Plasma hand missiles, Pulse assault rifles, Snipers, Weapon arms of all types. They could bring back the slug guns as back units. They could bring back extensions. The rule of cool could can exist synergistically with PVP balance.
I do agree. i just need to say Chainsaw needs to be able to charge while assaultboosting, and the modder can do that Same with plasma thrower So plz like this post so they see it. i may not get to use it as im ps5, but i want it to work properly for those who will get to.
i just hope ac6 modders can use this framework to make a community-made pvp scene where they can create maps out of the missions and host their own ladder
But doesn't that game suffer from not only bad anime dialogue but also they...just...keep...TALKING, for the whole mission dialogue? The gameplay looks solid but really suffered when your allies talk about nonsense in the middle of combat, atleast early game.
Amazing gameplay from the run through. Hilarious content. Finally got to the part about raid bosses. That was one of the cool parts about Daemon X Machina's post game. Getting more parts and fighting super hard bosses with your friends.
I love that Mobi mentioned how people just keep adjusting their builds and are never satisfied with their AC. People that complain about cookie cutter builds have no idea how to truly play and enjoy an AC game. You could spend hundreds of hours PvPing in the same regulation and you'd still want to keep trying new combinations and theory craft new builds, because that's the hook and the soul of the series. A true Raven never stops fiddling with their big bad robot (pun absolutely intended).
One of my favourite head pieces is the Melander C3 head. It strikes a good balance between AP and attitude stability for me. But there are better options for heavyweights.
Getting mercs hired just to hunt you down through invasions is the one thing I was not expecting to hear, this mod is so good.
You guys had me at "the connection is better and you can dodge lasers" - lol

Striker tries not to talk about Super Smash.
*Challenge Impossible*
Mobi tries not to talk about Starcraft.

Co Op is hilarious in this game. I’ll never forget all the times mobi screamed or impersonated an anime character.
Garage skill is respectable and definitely a thing-- but min-maxed tank/DPS builds are not skill in the garage or the field.
Neather is just backpedal away. All matches actually engage and fight you shouldnt just win because of speed and range alone. it's a sad game of tag
@@maxdragonslayer totally agree.

Man that would be such a cool thing I wonder if anyone is working on that hmmmm maybe
Wish co op would come to consoles but I understand that will never happen because it's a mod 😢 maybe the next game can have co op?
Daemon Ex Machina has some baller raid bosses. Legit one of the best parts of that game.
But doesn't that game suffer from not only bad anime dialogue but also they...just...keep...TALKING, for the whole mission dialogue?

Core-posting as usual, i see

Freud grindset
I made a delayed onslaught dual pistol build for PvP I may not with that much but when I do it’s very rewarding. xD
42:12 - Is there a video demonstration of this "demon blade" technique? I'm really interested in seeing and trying this out.

I just wish we had a wave mode for coop. With eventually like waves of 2 or 3 ciel.
the new ultralight Schneider tetrapod set has blade-like edges on the legs. jus sayin.
Can you rank the preset ac's in the next armoredcast? I just really wanna know the top 10!
Is there any down sides to the mod? Like is there a chance it messes with my saved AC DATA or progress on story mode?
There is no downside. Its a different save file completely. Check the video description for the tutorial!
is there a guide on how to demon blade? I d like to learn it but didn t realy found anything
This mod godly
I love the game and love PvP but Target Assist/Hard Lock absolutely does greatly reduce the skill and depth.
Co-op won't save this game's absolute trash fire of a pvp scene, it'll just buy it some more time
There's so much worse PVP.
