9:10 - Larry, for Frank to be able to match the original shape with a mere panel hammer is insane. I have no words to describe such skills. The only guy I know who could do this works at a repair shop in Oklahoma. My dad went to him for ANYTHING: bent doors, dents in the hood. The guy could work miracles with any car even something like a 1990 Jeep Cherokee. He had AMAZING eyes. We once took my Jeep to him for an inspection. It was 8:45 at night and a light drizzle was constantly annoying me. We stepped out of the car and the first words out of his mouth: "Um, you here because of the dent on the fender?" My dad was shocked. We were visiting because of a dent on the OTHER side of the car. I had to borrow a Maglite and shine it directly on the fender. Yep, there was a small dent there but I had to stand and look at it with my face pressed against the side of the door panel to see it! And he saw it without the flashlight! The guy was probably from another planet! I think he's retired by now.

That is incredible and a unbelievable amount of hours for prep and execution. Frank is a dying talent in today's world he has a gift to restore what man and mother nature destroys. I`m sure you have spent a good amount of money for your passion much as people do for GUNS, DOLLS, PAINTINGS EXT. Enjoy your car sir and beat the brakes off it you deserve it.

I was happy to see this video. My ‘74 had rust issues and needed replacement. Me being me, I have to do this myself lol. Now this happened about 10 years ago, but I used the same exact method used here. this is the craziest thing i have ever seen. any other car i would be like bro let it go. but this level of commitment, the passion, the love, the years of knowledge being baked into the car. ppl blow 100k at vegas or on golf trips and memberships. he's going to enjoy this everyday and the best part is that larry is crazy af and he's gonna track the hell out of this thing. raw and sick. everyone has a car sitting in the backyard that they wish they could do this to. but instead we all just get new dds. how easy would it have been for him to go out and buy a new 911. he could have got a pretty nice one too for what he's spending here. but who goes thru this instead and gives a car another 30 years? hard years at that? larry good job man.

People need to forget about cost. Its not cheap, the end. If its your passion and pride and joy, it will be well worth it in years to come. Just like roadtrips spent with your car, it helps to strengthen the bond and love. Still regret selling my Lotus that i rebuilt.

Amazing! What a journey. It's fantastic you are fortunate and able to do this, these cars will one day soon become untouchable, as they become rarer, along with the skills to repair in this way. A hyper classic!! I doff my hat sir.
