@D3M0BST3R I think this 800 dmg is a thing of the past. It's nerfed. I have a two-shot/explosive with demolition perk, full weapon class perk and bloody mess and I get to 263 dmg
The Gauss Rifle is Stronger. Plans can be bought from Watoga or can be picked up from the metal shelf in the Relay Tower right above Uncanny Caverns. The shelf inside randomly spawns Energy Weapons so DO NOT pick it up if it's not a Gauss Rifle. You just have to World Hop a few times and it'll eventually spawn a randomized Gauss. This location resets every 12-48 hours so check back after a while for another one to scrap for components.
I'm working on a Gauss rifle video. The number of mods, springs and screws needed is insane though! This video alone took me a month to make and the Gauss will take a similar time! Love your comment - thanks for the input

Not a lot of people know of the Gauss Rifles spawn because of the randomness involved. It's not like the Handmade location in Berkeley Springs where it's there almost every time.
The only reason why you managed to kill the scorchbeast queen with that rifle is because you use the legendary version of that rifle you're showing us legendary rifle and not legendary riflewhen you just built you cannot kill the scorchbeast queen with

I went into this game.. Blind.. Dont know much.. I got a lever action rifle that is about 144. Not legendary.. How the hell did his dmg go from 149 to 812? What am i missing.
I tried a crit based range build on my first char. I never got a decent rifle and I noticed that there are tons of low hp and melee buffs . So I tried low hp and melee on my second and never looked back. With revenant I can reach close to 4k dmg(1,8k without any buffs like revenant or adrenaline ) +heavy attack bonus with my groknaks axe while doing the queen. And with 40% attack Speed I would say I can do 1,5 hits per second or 3 hits in 2 seconds (usual hit). That means I can melt the queen and kill any SB in 1-3 hits. And as a Bonus I dont have to worry about Ammo. Major downside is that you have to wait till the SB lands or you have to jump her with marsupial.
Two shot and explosive legendary weapon effects are going to be nerfed real soon with the next big patch for Fallout 76. Still great work and best of luck to ya mate.

You're wrong mele weapons are over powered get both 3 rank in all 3 slugger perk and have more than 15 strength due unyielding legendary armour and get the perk that cuts weapon swing time
Really isn't if you run with blocker honestly I've been hit with a bloodied super sledge and my friends sledge does almost 800 with Max perks and amor and it barely did anything to my health but mean while my double shot Gatling does over 3000+ damage with my perks

I love the lever action rifle but I also have a pipe revolver rifle as a sidearm incase the lever action breaks and they share the same ammo so carry only one type of ammo also have pistol weight reduction perk and ammo weight reduction perk to make the .45 ammo less than 0.000 so I can carry ALOT of ammo also have ammo scounger perk so finding that .45 ammo is very common and very plentiful finding it in the 30-90 units where every I find ammo containers. Also I use short scopes so I always get crit shots to make use of my nearly weightless but very common ammo.
I found the plan at Welch. Build them yourself and scrap them. That way you get the mods. I found a 3 star and then went looking for the plan to mod it. Took me 20 or so hops to get it. But I got it.
How is this since explosive shells were nerfed ? Another player shot at me with some kind of explosive gun after they were nerfed and it was like a butterfly flapping its wings against me.

So...I get ppl want to play snipers. I played one in fo3 and fo4. I find that in fo76, they don't do same dps as melee or auto rifle builds. I stopped playing rifleman build around level 100 and been doing commando build since...now lvl 148. I'm just curious to hear from other ppl how they are compensating for the lack of dps. I'm speaking strickly dps over time. Example. So someone nukes whitesprings, I run into the golf shop with auto build and slaughter everything...gun fu keeps cycling and everything just dies, then I reload. Twelve dead ghouls. With a sniper build, even with gun fu. I could kill 3 and then I'm swarmed and having to hip fire backing up. I can't stand and bang with them. How are you over coming this? SB queen. Lever action, if you are firing once... twice a second, then a 1-2 second reload. Even at 800 a shot, how can you hope to bring down the queen? With auto build, I'll burn her down myself (yes, with a tse handmade, full auto receiver) it'll take me 20-25 minutes and 2k bullets, but I can. How does a sniper do that kind of dmg? Just curious as I would love to switch my commando perks back to rifleman...but until I can get some input...feels I'm stuck playing full auto
@@kyleno9958 great high damage weapon, for sure. But again damage over time. The 1 shot is amazing damage. But the reload is horrid. You'd fire one shot then you'd be running away for 3-4 seconds while you reload. Let me put it like this. I can fire four full clips while you fire 1 shot. Even if you Max out damage with that one shot at 8k damage. I've just done 30*4=120, 120 bullets at 450 damage each. 120*450= 54,000. It's not even close.
I carry 2 handmades. tse's one with long barrel and scope, armor pieceing on all, then a drum barrel with rds on other. 80 bullets, quick enough fire rate to not need auto and with speed demon takes virtually no time to reload. equip with silencer and while sneak is on nothing can get close. even without sneak nothing gets close.
I guess it all depends, i have a TSE *3 Lever action with a little over 900 damage, Gauss Rifle with 1600 damage with a 67 fire rate, and Semi auto Handmade with about 500-550 a shot with an 85 round drum. My Critical Refill is completely maxed as is its damage, with high luck. Paired with full demolition, bloody mess, and adrenaline I haven't ran Into any problems yet with my Rifleman build, as my critical refresh and damage on the queen, along with stacking adrenaline off of the creatures running around her, are dishing out crazy Damage.
as we all know the best weapon in the game is the baseball bat if you have sluger master slugger and expert slugger yuo litarlly make a lvl 5 basball bat do 100 damage no joke and you know the higher the lvl the higher the damage :)
I fully upgraded the leverage action gun and only get 139 damage max! I have max upgrades on the weapon possible and best perks possible! Did it get nerfed?
yeah, this video is pretty old now unfortunately. The gun soon got overtaken by the gauss rifle after i released this. Still enjoy using the gun though
My level 20 bolt action pip pistol is already at 95 damage I will easily get it to what you show why is that gun so good? I like revolvers myself lose a bit of damage but I can short fast enough not to wast bullets
But my dragon is the most powerful in the game with some perk cards on it's at 2,000 damage but the only bad thing is after a few shots you have to repair it pretty quick even with it at 200%
best for what exactly? I've managed to 1v3 PVP with a different TSE and I've got hundreds of kills under my belt in PVP. If you're talking rifle build versus individual AI, then maybe. If you're talking groups... then I would say no. If you're talking PVP, I would definitely say no. Most powerful? Definitely not. if you're talking for 1 hit power, the TSE Dragon trumps that. Mine does 1700+ and I'm not a rifle build.
Ooh and one last thing to all new people there are tricks to boost your pipe hand guns even revolvers through perks and other truck the base way of building your gun like on this video is not the end all be all

DPS is very bad with that weapon, my Auto explosive Ghoul Slayer Rail Gun is over 300 damage at 70 FR ! ( Hits with over 1000 damage ) ... 1 shots Whitesprings ghouls 😆 ( going from +30 to +50 made it a beast ! ) Also My explosive. 50cal is 170+ damade w/ 91FR , Explosive Fixer is 180 - 200 xamsfd w/ a 75FR , No glitches,buffs or chems The Lever Action is 5 Fire Rate.... five ! That 800+ number is your player loaded with buffs... or a glitch ! Post a video working it all the way to 800 , we'd like that video 😎 My explosive LA is in the 280 range it's a good weapon..... but vs. The Fixer or Handmade forget it , it's not even close !
You can't find this weapon it's a RNG drop from a legendary enemy ,you also can't make it. It's content creators like you that need to be banned for spreading false information.
I love my melee build, no one is a match for me in the game really when it comes to regular/1 star legendary weapons, and that’s with only basic boiled leather armor, but when it comes to the tse bullshit, I can’t do shit against them. So luckily I found one for a handmade so I started another character strictly for shotguns and rifles, now it’s just the grind of getting to lvl 45 so I can use it. So if anyone is selling a tse combat shotgun lvl 40 or higher on ps4 let me know 👍🏼 I got access to certain serums too, so I can make those a part of the deal.
I have a strong rifle and melee set up. It's good to mix them two together for sure. Mostly because scorch beasts take one hundred years to land, so then I have my back up rifle perks and shiz.

When you build weapons and scrap them they dont give you modifications you have to find the weapons in the wasteland and scrap it to get modifications

Well they NURFED it a lot. My lvl 25 starts off at 65 damage and NOT the 104 that yours does (lvl 45 does 75 base not 120).

Your 100% right i have 2 different rifles. 1 a instantiating one thats 98% a 1 shot kill. 2nd is a exploding. I was lucky to get the 2 shot one.

A buddy of mine has this and with my build it negates its effects completely and does 25% of my health. Hardly the best.

To buy the plan I found it at Lewis burg station for the lever gun at 1700 caps for me , is their any other way or place to find that plan ? Help please

Charels it depends on your build. What if it's a semi-auto build? Still effective? Though I do agree the gun is very good

DPS is very bad with that weapon, my Auto explosive Ghoul Slayer Rail Gun is over 300 damage at 70 FR !

Explosive Fixer is 180 - 200 xamsfd w/ a 75FR , No glitches,buffs or chems

That 800+ number is your player loaded with buffs... or a glitch !

My explosive LA is in the 280 range it's a good weapon.....

Happimo Lewisburg station’s vender sells it, just server hop till it appears. Took me about 8 try’s before I could buy it. (:
I had to grind at the three southern most stations for a few days to get them. Or you can buy them
Third you're right it's a good gun but that is not the most base damage of any gun
Location really isn't part of the equation that I have come to find. Its amount farmed that improves your chances.

You can't find this weapon it's a RNG drop from a legendary enemy ,you also can't make it. It's content creators like you that need to be banned for spreading false information.

rgm rgms two shot explosive, the gun in the video was great but in late January 2019 two shot and explosive both got heavily nerfed

Yeah my Two Shot Gauss did like between 3500 and 4200 if adding demolition cards. The nerf was a bit to ridiculous. Melee still haven't been touched?

What level do you have to be to be able to craft all that cool stuff? ...I'm lvl 37 and can only craft a hunting ride for 66 ? Damage

I love my melee build, no one is a match for me in the game really when it comes to regular/1 star legendary weapons, and that’s with only basic boiled leather armor, but when it comes to the tse bullshit, I can’t do shit against them. So luckily I found one for a handmade so I started another character strictly for shotguns and rifles, now it’s just the grind of getting to lvl 45 so I can use it. So if anyone is selling a tse combat shotgun lvl 40 or higher on ps4 let me know 👍🏼 I got access to certain serums too, so I can make those a part of the deal.
I have a strong rifle and melee set up. It's good to mix them two together for sure. Mostly because scorch beasts take one hundred years to land, so then I have my back up rifle perks and shiz.
