I feel like people are always talking about the 10 upcoming mmos and like 1 new mmo comes out every year and it is quickly forgotten about.
I warn you as a Korean. Never play NC games. Its games are not games, but gambling companies.
I gave up with mmo’s if it comes out, it comes out, if it doesn’t? Oh well, I’ll be waiting for the genre’s redemption.

@@ronellmartin5821 there are no good ones to play and actually put time in tbh and the companies that produce them don’t put effort in it and they aren’t complete so it’s dead on arrival
Hard to realease titles in a genre that is famously known for being the most expensive to develop and mantain, and filled with sunken cost players that will mostly keep playing the same title they've been playing for years over and over again because they have to grind.
blue protocol has been on my steam wishlist for over a year at least, super hyped.

Dragons Doma had an MMO in Japan. I wish they brought that to the U.S.
They originally planned to but it did not do very well so therefore it just got shut down, kind of like the Dot.Hack MMO

2 online games I'm looking forward to playing this year are The First Descendant & Throne and Liberty. TFD has a lot of potential from what I played during the last open beta. T&L I'll play for that fresh mmo experience and stop once I hit the inevitable grind or Pay wall.

Chrono odyssey, blue protocol, and project LLL all look the funnest to me
Chrono Odyssey has announced that they will release in 2025 and they also held a closed beta test.

Chrono Odyssey looks cool, but I have a heavy amount of skepticism. Made by a mobile game company, promises so much within the game but at the same time shows very little. Hopefully it’s good and one I’ll keep my eye on but also gonna wait for reviews for this one
Chrono Odyssey has already confirmed its been pushed back to 2025.

I have been gone for a while. What happened to Arekkz? Why is he not presenting/ speaking in his vids?
Hope some of them can become a success mmorpg of new era , stand with ffxiv gw2 wow bdo etc.
While BDO is pretty active I wouldn't really call it highly successful, it does receive a lot of negative reviews mostly because of the upgrade system which has a higher negative rate than it does a positive rate of success.
However I do believe if they fixed that then the game would be practically perfect
I didn't see anyone comment on "Light No Fire", i dont know if its an mmo but i would put it there. I'm excited for it!!!

I am always a sucker for mmo's that have fishing which looks potentially fun.
I'm sure it's Tarisland, and yeah has a fishing profession.
Pax Dei sounds like Fallout 76 but fantasy.
I just wanna see a new game that has the same fluidity and exciting pvp as dragon nest.

We really need a Dark Souls style MMO, a Monster Hunter MMO, Cyberpunk MMO, and most of all, a Star Wars Bounty Hunter MMO.

buddy if u are not living under the rock riot mmo just got not canceled but delayed for another 5+ years for sure .. they kinda reset all the progress they made soo far and wont even focus on mmo they reduces the dev numbers by alot and everything.. soo rip wanted that aswell
Keeping in mind, Conan Exiles is in the worst state it’s been in a long time right now. Funcom has a history of really destroying their own games.

I want more games LOOKING like Blue Protocol... graphically its awesome. This dont have to be anime... they can go for comic, cartoon or whatever. Going for realistic is a burden for PC and MMO is a burden for PC anyway. Not to mention that realistic is getting outdated ASAP... Throne and Liberty looks like shit.
I think Ashes of Creation might be Vapor. I kickstarted it is 2017 and have yet to play a single minute.
You do know you can play in Q3 this year, right? In september you're pretty much guaranteed to play.
Once Humans pvp is pure trash and not really PvP! But other than that it is a super nice game! :-)

Honestly, after 20 years of MMORPG's, I'm kind of done with them. I miss the era of no internet required games. Cartridge games. Where I could just have power and play my hearts content. I know my age is showing but honestly that was the best era of gaming for me. Online gaming was just grinding. The best story driven gaming was Single Player gaming.

Throne and liberty is shit. Its so trashy. Played it so id know.
I found it fun in the late game. But it seems to have a content issue and choosing whether to cater to the pvp or pve crowd.

You'll never get the latest patch and will always be far behind.
Take Lineage for example, shop prices are more expansive and drop rates are lower in other regions
