I lived in Harlem river houses in the fifties, that little pool was a working pool with gargoyles and frogs spraying water to the delight of us kids. Those big pits showed movies on a huge screens and everybody came out to watch. We ran track out of the 32nd precinct with patrolman Lester and Harrison it was so much fun, only one person made it to the Olympics we used to practice with though, Johnny Carlos. In the history books and come up on my slide show......just like the good old days. This was the first housing projects and it should be kept better than this.
Great video.I saw a few places that my father used to take me when I visited his house. Especially the playground sprinkler and corner store. Good memories. Thanks.
My projects wasn't always that way when I was growing up I'm 51 now and back in the 70's 80's And 90's it was ok to walk through but now the new generation is on some press people shit it's crazy cause we never started beef or looked for drama with anyone coming through unless they was on some bullshit.
@@denzibluesolinfinitymusicw6535 NYC had over 1,000 murders in 1988, 89, 90.....so i know the projects was on fire back then ....shit is safe and boring now which is a good thing

The first public housing development in Harlem (1937).
I love your videos but can you make them longer?
How long do you want my videos to be? This is a RUclips version and I will be releasing videos on Patreon soon.
@@malikidrissou1487 long enough to feel them and enjoy them more. If that's ok?
