- We visit the famous Spanish Harlem aka East Harlem aka El Barrio, on this lovely warm Spring Day! We drive along 2nd and 3rd Avenues passing some historic landmarks and housing projects on the way. This neighborhood contains the second highest concentration of public housing in the United States, behind Brownsville. This is also known to be the most dangerous neighborhood in Manhattan. However like most of NYC, gentrification is in effect but how much has it changed? We take a stroll through this area to see the good, the bad, and the ugly for ourselves. Follow along and and enjoy the drive! Please like if you LIKE, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE! Thank you for watching and most importantly ENJOY!

Dope video, my old stomping grounds. My high school was on Lexington Ave in between 105th and 106th streets. Good times.
Nice. Glad to bring back memories. Thank you for watching
You drove past my old apt on 124 between 3rd & 2nd Ave, right next to the garden & across from the little park with the huge Willow tree! Left NYC in 2020 & will probably never return but nice to see!
My stomping grounds as a teenager!

Hi there. Yes sure. Some projects have amazing views. Thanks for watching.
yes. and the smell of Urine in all the elevators and hallways too. The amount of trash on the streets is amazing.. it's like living in a dumpster -But the graffiti - on everything - is like a museum.. dude.
@@frankgiuliano380 But these buildings have not been outright destroyed like the 16-story highrises in Chicago. It wasn't a hard decision to demolish them, so few of the actual apartments were even still in service.
