I love the mix in this performance, because you can clearly hear the bass lines; they don't just get lost in the mix.
This was the version of Atlas Rise that Metallica should have recorded.
It was January 24, 2019. I was faced with a choice. Drive 2 hours and pay 100.00 to go see Metallica, or fly 1800 miles and pay 200.00 to see The Warning at a private show at the Whisky. I chose The Warning. They played 21 originals, and closed the show with Atlas Rise. I made the right choice.
How many bands can play 21 songs and you feel like you still wanted to hear more, and loved every song they played? How many of those bands are (at the time) 18, 16, and 14?
Ok, you said you've been wearing out XXI Century Blood and QOTMS. Have you checked out Narcisista? It's a single in Spanish. I was scared I wouldn't like it. I found I had no reason to be scared.
I did my own evaluation and found 23 of 26 good songs of their last 2 albums, the higher ever !!, hi from Queretaro, Mexico.

@@CarlosMartinez-kx3ny That's fair. I recall on my first few listens, I had a similar opinion. None of them were bad enough for me to skip over. Funny thing is, the other 3 grew on me to the point I can't recall which 3 they were. :)
the Mexican girl group called THE WARNING, for my taste is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the black hearts and Heart.
Turned a metal song into a hard rock song and did it well. The Whiskey a Go Go version was even better. Some fan made a video of the Warning and Metallica alternating back and forth through this song -- Warning hands down. BTW 17, 15, and 12 here.

Remember when I told you that The Warning was my second favorite band? Now you're starting to see why. These girls absolutely KILL IT! It would take a lot to knock Nightwish out of my top spot, but they are a very close second. Awesome video Jen!
The Warning has became my favorite. I was a huge U2 fan having been to 3 of their shows over the years. These girls are talented and amazing!

Great reaction just Jen.The Warning really know have to rock. Jen you have to see them live in concert it’s full of pure energy, I have been lucky to see them play 4 times at Whisky a go go TW Have 32 original songs and I like all of them. TW don't write bad songs. With The Warning Rock is not dead

A 3 piece band where all of them can be the lead singer as needed as well as all 3 of them playing piano as well as their normal instruments. They have also recorded acoustic versions of several of their songs. I mention them because it's easier to hear the handoffs between Pau and Dany for the songs that are dialogs between the good and bad parts of the Queen. While she does not like to there are videos where Ale sings lead if Dany needs a break.. I really like the one opening for Stryper singing Hunter.

I love the overhead shots of Pau's playing. You don't realize how extensive her drum kit is until you see it from that angle, and she uses every bit of it!!💖🎵🎶 I'm chomping at the bit waiting on their 3rd album release. Final mixdown is happening as we speak! I got my pre-order in last year around this time, and it would have been here a lot sooner if it hadn't been for the lockdown BS all year.🙄 Let's hope for a quick release once they get the mixdown lined out! 🤘😎🤘

A great and innovative interpretation of "Atlas Rise"! Check out their phenominal cover of The Foo Fighters' "The Pretender" which was filmed on a hilltop in Monterrey the year before this one. Ale was even littler!

Great to see you reviewing The Warning. The girls have always been very talented. Theres some early clips of Dani and Pau playing classical music on piano together at 10 and 8. Ale plays piano too but being 3 years younger than Pau didnt start til a year or 2. Can play sax too. Clip of her doing so at 12.
Ale was very skilled on bass at a young age of 8. There's quite a few clips of her playing Muse's Hysteria at 8. Plays it with ease yet it's quite a busy piece. Just turned 16,she like Dany nearly 21 and Pau nearly 19 are very good musicians. Anyone who plays drums,know it requires a bit of energy. To sing as well,it can be a tough ask.

If you're looking for suggestions, then I'd recommend going through the entire "Queen of the Murder Scene" album in order (seeing as it's a concept album) with the live versions from the Foro Didi gig, except for Crimson Queen where the Lunario CDMX version is better.
Also, check out their cover of Hysteria by Muse that they performed at their school back when Ale was only 9 or 10, and their official music video for XXI Century Blood.
I personally think Lunario CDMX is better, especially on the latter songs where the ForoiDidi audio quality is not that good. But Dust to Dust is better at ForoDidi. And Narcissista of course is outstanding.

Maybe you should react to something from the Mercury Lounge 2019. These are all fan videos so the audio isn’t as good, but you can really see their interaction with fans. One of these shows was also the time Jason Flom (head of Lava Records) saw them when they were working on their record deal.

It should be noted that this video was uploaded just 4 days after the release of Atlas Rise. The fact that they learnt and arranged this song in that time is phenomenal.
Also, I love how The Warning makes Metallica sound like Black Sabbath. Dany’s guitar sound particularly on her Gibson really gives it that feel.
You have to admit that Pau sings better than Lars as well.
