  • I decided it was time to give the CL175 a facelift and make it look as good as it runs. I tear the bike down to the bare frame and rebuild it from the ground up.

So many bike builds have the engine being lifted into the frame. With much stress and grunting! If possible, just lower the frame into the engine and go from there. Brilliant build btw!! 😎

Next can you do a Honda supercharged efi 2 stroke with an electric start kit from panthers motor sports. You’re the best in the game at doing super charging efi classic bikes

There is a big difference between being lazy and working smarter.
Very impressive work you are doing 👍

I have been watching this very interesting project. I was actually looking for a similar kind of a project for a cb250 and found this instead. I haven't been able to find how much hp or torque this machine is making now, I sure would like to know. I so wish I could find something for the cb250. Keep it up

I don't think I've seen any engine work from this guy, beyond an intake manifold.

I road raced a Honda 175 twin with AHRMA. This is outstanding work. Very impressive. My hats off to you.
Hopefully we get videos at the races you enter.
    Cheers

Just an amiring old former Bantam owner .... I think i see why you haven't much apparent interesting in a fairing. You love the look of your bike with the works exposed and .... as you say, there is lots of room for mechanical improvement. Im guessing a lot of us are in your corner on that.

Hi Your build is so cool, I've just put an AMR300 on My 2cv kit car and I'm running 7lbs boost. I'm getting good results and I'm surprised at how much more drivable She is now. Best Wishes Dee

The devil is in the detail as always and it shows, well done. Lazy, no I wouldn't say that.

I know my Honda is not as old as yours but I would like to try very similar modifications to my upgraded 89 VTR 250, they're an absolutely amazing motor liquid cooled 4valves per cylinder and it has 4 camshafts, after 80,000 miles I checked the valve clearance and it was still perfect, its actually a later engine from a 92 VTR Xlvis so all problems have been ironed out with about 6 major changes, what do you think about this idea with the room in the 90° V-twin? thank you awesomely for sharing your experience and great experiments.
