I think the math checks out that using blade on a shard before zolaing is fine. Daken ends up the same size. There were times you could have used blade on a shard to prevent yourself from getting full. All without lowering daken's power ceiling
I found a version of this on snap zone a few months ago, mostly trying to Zola on Daken or Dracula. Very fun combo sort of deal. New toys for it are always good to see!

Oh, Regis! You caught the Arnim Shake! I’ve been running Super Giant and Ravonna in mine (in place of Colleen and Blade) and the weird angles you can whip the Daken Zola combo are insane! My best two deck names are: Do Dërr Arnim Shake Livin Lavida Zola The OG deck was by Parry Manilow, and it’s just a BLAST to play.

In the last game, if GM could put the Daken mid, it would have given you 2 extra shards, due to Kamar Taj, and the 2 Dakens would be at 128, which would be awesome.
I don't have bullseye yet but this meme deck archetype is my main and i have reached infinite every time. my deck list ravonna , daken, mobius , dracula , arnim zola, frigga, modok, blade, apocalypse, magik, grand master, either kang/crystal for draw consistency or madam web for board manipulation. they broke the turn 6 zola gm combo by increasing gm power.
Frigga and bullseye are the only parts that I'm missing from this and i feel sad i had to use all my keys for Victoria bc I figured there would be some insane combos with Bullseye when I read his effect. I think i could maybe get to 2 keys before Bullseye leaves spotlight and i kinda feel like i want to risk the 50/50 for him
I think u shoudl try bullseye with sera sentinel wong + searm adn 2 other discard cards the other cards arent forced to go to but i mostly use mystique and morbius and the collecter on top of thata devil dino i think u should try it my deck: -Blade - Morbius -The Collector -Sentinel -Swarm -Colleen Wing -Mystique -Magik -Bullseye -Wong -Devil Dinosaur -Sera This deck is a little hard to get used too but the sentinel spam ontop of that discard bcuz of seras discount to one u can put alot of power with sentinels ontop of the collector and morbious
just because ben brode mispronounces the name doesnt mean you should too. Japanese pronunciation doesnt really have nuance in readings/spellings the way english does. its dah-ken. Even if dakens creator said it was dayken he would still be wrong lol.
Did Frigga really help in any of these games naturally? It seems the curve doesn't work for the combo (Daken on 3 -> Frigga on 4 means there isnt enough energy to play Bullseye, the copied Daken & Arnim) and as a backup plan, the deck already has them with Morbius and MODOK
This video just confirms what I always feel about Frigga, she is too slow. I get there are situations where she can be good, but generally speaking she is too slow. Even when you hit a good target like Morbius, how often do you scale properly to get 2 really big Morbius' going?
My discard draws are always so bad. I have colleen and blade sitting in the hand, cause I can't use blade and colleen can't hit swarm cause of him and the whole game i draw nothing to get rid of blade or reach Swarm -_-

If you’re referencing 10:25ish that was bc the scorn gets an extra discard by blade since the shard isn’t in hand bc if bullseye
Bullseye is a kind of card that should be crazy good but then you never see it until you cant use it
Or you can use it but you never draw your Swarm and Daken.
