I'm actually running a comedic D&D 5E campaign right now, inspired by the early 2000s Disney animated series Dave the Barbarian, a series that s so D&D 5E that it was entirely a show of what a comedic 5E campaign could be like before 5E was even a thing. The series has a slough of absolutely hilarious moments, the 4 primary characters are all related (3 are siblings and 1 is their uncle)
I actually just finished that episode it was great, although you forgot one of my favorite parts where on the way down with vincent they made solid eye contact too the mage guard and vincent waved and claz casted darkness yet again, i laughed so hard at that
the animated spell cards sound cool, but they really need class specific decks. Im not spending 30 bucks on a deck that contains spells im never gonna use cause I dont like the class that offers them.
Agilemind to that I say "why not both?" they can still offer them by spell level. But getting all spells costs well over 200 bucks and my D&D budget isnt that big. I have no interest in druid spells, so id like to buy a wizard set.

In world-building my own setting, I flavor the sh*t out of normal devices by making them "magical". iPhones - ScryPhones GPS Navigation - GYPSY Navigation Internet - The WEAVE Security Cameras - Beholder Lenses Air Pods - Ear-Bards Televisions - Thought-Views (TV's) Airplanes - AeroCrafts Vehicles - STEEDS Gas Stations - FEED Stations (FEED your STEED!) ...etc. Pretty much your typical D&D setting, but modernized... Elves are high-class or corporate elitists, dwarves & gnomes are your hands-on workers and laborers, dragonborn are militaristic assholes, orcs and humans do your odd in-between jobs, halflings are mostly rural farmers... Except, you know, occasionally demons or some extra-planar threats sometimes wreak havoc, and you need permits to use "high magic". Firearms are classified as arcane armaments...machines guns fire "Magic Missiles", and handguns are Evokers.
Several issues.. a. you forgot tooltip thingy. b. its location depends on the device but it's usually in the top *right* and c. where can I find this episode?
I would’ve gotten all the cantrip cards buuut, it would’ve been 60 bucks, half of which is from shipping. I like DnD, but I’d rather buy miniatures or dice for 60 bucks of cantrips.
