Hard to not want the mighty ducks back
Yeah... skating is a big part of my live and I probably wouldn’t be as into it if not for that movie. Also likely wouldn’t care about hockey if not for the movie.
Well there’s a new show about it and there are men that don’t cut their grapes
Yeah man, I miss Charlie Conway, Jesse Hall, Adam Banks, Greg Goldberg, Fulton Reed, Dean Portman, Les Averman and the rest of those goofy lovable kids... oh you mean the actual Mighty Duck the NHL team oh yeah my bad I miss them too I guess 👀 lol
No thanks. Got to grow up sometime. I prefer the more mature look.
I’m a Sharks fan, in my opinion this was one of the worst logo changes in the NHL. The Mighty Ducks logo is so iconic. I’m glad they brought it back but they should make it their primary logo again

90s logos I can remember was always Chicago bulls & mighty ducks
Sharks got it right in 1991. Thats why they still use the same identity 30 years later. The Ducks have been a mess.
Not only did get rid of it. Why change their colors from the teal white and green to this HORRIBLE burnt orange stain color. It's the worst uniforms in the NHL.
They changed the Anaheim logo to a kid getting plugged from behind. You DON’T see the ASS in that fucking logo? It’s an ariel view btw and the dude doing the plugging is wearing a hairpiece..
They should go back to the old name, logo and colours.

@@patrickkanas3874 Nobody outside of hockey gives a flying duck about the Anaheim Ducks. There is far more value in the Mighty Ducks, and to be perfectly honest, the Mighty Ducks belong in Minnesota. An entire generation knows who the Mighty Ducks are. The same can't be said of the plain old Ducks.

The original jerseys are works of art. The jersey change was a dark day in history.
They won a cup in those jerseys that year.

The Mighty Ducks logo/jerseys is possibly the sharpest look in sports history.
Changing it in 2007 was a travesty.

@@encycl07pedia- To certain franchises and fan bases alike, certain jerseys signify success. Besides that one 2003 Stanley Cup run, the Mighty Ducks were usually considered a joke or and underachieving underdog in the NHL. When new ownership came around, they wanted to separate themselves from Disney and they wanted to bring a killer instinct to the Ducks. So far, it's worked out and they've been super successful since then. Sometimes you have to lose a piece of what made you beloved to win a championship.
@@manzac112 Besides than 2006-2007 Stanley Cup win, they've done nothing as the Ducks, either. They haven't even been to the playoffs since 2017-2018. "Super successful." Yikes.
Absolutely nothing about the Ducks' new identity screams "killer instinct."

Was born in Laguna Niguel, Orange County California in 1994 and have been a Duck's fan my entire life. I WISH the Ducks would go back to the Mighty Ducks and bring back the most recognizable and iconic jersey in all of sports!!!

As a Ducks fan, I don't really care if they go back to being The Mighty Ducks, but we're keenly aware the duck foot is a pretender to the throne and we're just waiting for the return of the king.
Funny that you say that because that pretender was the logo that will be etched in the Stanley Cup Championship that Anaheim won in 2007. I look at the purple, green, black, and white Ducks as underachievers who only leech off that 2003 run to the final as their only moment.

I live in Florida, I don’t even watch hockey. But I own a traditional Mighty Ducks Jersey. That tells you all you need to know about that old iconic logo/brand.

I hate the current Ducks logo. That logo along with the current jerseys are just so bland and boring.
Orange is just a bad color for jerseys, too.
Like, in isolation, the Ducks have ALWAYS had really nice jerseys. *HOWEVER* that first one is literally perfect, in EVERY way.

That is on the way! Our first episode of THE TALKBACK will focus on the Reverse Retros and new third jerseys. That comes out this Sunday. Then the second episode will definitely cover uniform ads.

It would be awesome to see them go full circle back to the film jersey. Maybe do some tweaks but those original green jerseys from the film were a lot of fun.
Never got used to the rebrand and never liked it, the club lost all of its identity... The purple Mighty Ducks jersey is one of the best looking ones ever.

@@Elliesbow there’s an ass in the logo. The logo is basically an overhead view of a sexual abuse act. And considering Anaheim is one of the homes of Disney, I’m sure it symbolizes NOT an adult ass.
It looks to me like the abuser is wearing a hairpiece but I digress. Sports logos are beyond wicked and the Anaheim Ducks logo is just one of the more blatant examples.
The Original Logo will also be the best in My opinion

the original mighty ducks uni's(colors, design, line placement, numbers and logo) are ICONIC. the best of the best
The original jade and eggplant jersey was perfection. Never forget watching my wings play them in ‘97 playoffs. Kariya and Selanne flying up and down the ice, looked so cool wearing that original jersey. Definitely respected the Ducks for battling so hard in that series.
Your production quality is over the top. This is far superior to anything espn or the like could put together. Keep up the amazing work.

Just bring back “Mighty Ducks of Anaheim” already. They had one of the top logos in all of hockey. I don’t even own anything with their new logo on it.
Would love to see a return to the Mighty Duck crest and combining the original jade with the orange they currently use, as a way to fuse eras. I think those colors would look sharp.

The ducks currently have the worst home/away jerseys in the league. Have for a while. Wish they'd return to the old color scheme full time. Love these videos keep it up!

Oh, so you can go back to being mediocre laughing stock, other than that one 2003 finals run where your goaltender had to literally go God mode. Keep the black, orange, and gold because you want a Cup with those colors.

Nothing beats the original white jersey and crest.
The 25th anniversary jersey should've been made their full time uniform, obviously with a white away version.

I was in elementary school and became a Wild fan when they rebranded it was my first break up. I was a Mighty Ducks fan not a duck foot fan.

"But the complaints are short lived." Really? Nah, people even now HATE the current jersey and the stupid D that just doesn't get us excited. I can understand wanting to do some changes, but changing that logo was the worst mistake the owners did and as we've seen since, the team REALLY needs to be fixed, which should also include a rebranding to the older look modernized so as to get fans to want to support the team again.
