    I know that some players think it is boring and unnecessary to play as Haytham for 2 or 3 hours in AC3, but it actually develops and builds up the main antagonists of the game. I might even argue that they’re some of the best villains in the games because of it especially Haytham.

    • @jormdeworm
      @jormdeworm Год назад +13

      agreed, one thing AC3 and Black Flag, and Rogue really did right is letting us meet all people who would later turn out the be the assassination targets from the start and have them come back throughout the game made them actual characters rather than the “Oh, it’s this guy I’ve never heard of I need to kill” like we’ve had in all other AC games. I really hope Mirage will return to this formula because it was much better.

      I loved Rogue and I honestly don't blame Shay one bit for becoming a Templar.
      Dont care for the Templars side personally, but Shay warned the Brotherhood and accused him for treason, even trying to kill him and said that they are still gonna pursue.
      At that point, Shay was only human for trying his best to stop that from happening again. Even if he became what he swore to fight against.

    World War II, should that be a game? Killing Nazis, Hitler, and all the Templars behind it. There’s potential there. The protagonist could be a former Nazi inducted into the Assassin’s Creed, and he uses his Nazi background to fit into society. Lydia Frye (Jacob Frye’s granddaughter) could even return, if she somehow decided to leave London. I don’t know, does it sound like a good idea?

      I always thought that if there was a AC set in WW2, player would start as a templar fighting for nazis and then at some point sees them going too far and switches sides. That way player could join as an assassin to Von Stauffenberg's operation Valkyrie, plot to assassinate Hitler and other historical nazi leaders

    • @RedEverything

      To me I still think she wasn't really a traitor, I think that whole stealing the apple of eden and giving it to abstergo was the original plan for Lucy but I think she had a change of heart, when she got to know Desmond, because I may not be into romance aspects of stories but I ain't blind to it, because I think Juno really had her killed because she would have been the only one to stop Desmond from releasing her, that's my take on it.

    I think the twist in Rogue of Shay becoming a Templar and Flavius/Caesar being with the Order of the Ancients all along and killing Kanen’tó:kon and Juno and killing Adéwalé/Charles Dorian in Rogue were far better pilot twists then the first five you selected, lol. Blowing up Cappadocia maybe. Heck, even the Pearl Attaway plot twist in Syndicate was better than those.
    Edit: I meant plot twists 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6 not the first five but still the fact Lucy helped you get out of Abstergo was less of an interesting plot twist than having to kill her at the end of Brotherhood.

    Julius Caesar being the "Father of Understand" n Haylim being a Templar & it's reveal is the greatest plot twists coming from the Templar side of plot twists
    Ezio's family & relatives being assassins the whole time, ezio meeting Altair & Bayek forming the origins of the assassins & their rise of their creed of code is the greatest plot twists from the assassins side of plot twists
    The greatest plot twists of AC overall so far:
    - Al-Muulin being a villain the entire time
    - The origins & identity of the IZU
    - Basim being a sage the entire time as "Loki" n literally betray us all with no warning for his actions at all until it was too late
