Yeah I have ordered a few things from AliExpress the Halo projector headlights, led taillights, and radio on my Toyota Yaris
Fun fact... old jeep postal trucks (DJ) had 5 slot grills. Not sure what years they were used in, but I have a grill off one. Definitely not what is on the shirt, but they were based off the CJ.

some neat cheap stuff for a beginner jeeper
great vid! I've bought quite a bit of stuff from ali - led headlights w/orange halo (5 years now still working great!). Love the fuel filler door but the paint has now peeled off (3 years) so I'll just repaint with some Por15. Most stuff is pretty ok. Would never order any "critical" components like for suspension or motor.
AliExpress has help many hobbies. Fishing items were good, clothes gotta order much bigger, arrowsSights all worked well. Scuba most are fin. New straps for fins boltsnaps. Flashlights are more miss than hit.

It is rare but the Jeep dj’s had five slots, however they were primarily used as mail trucks.
I ordered similar sill guards - Jeep silhouette with “Since 1941”. Also ordered a cover for center console lid for JL. Both were good deals. Some stuff you know is gonna be sketchy - the 0.97$ camo shirts and stuff. LOL. Have patience ‘cuz shipping is s-l-o-w!

Some things are worth it - bought some grill inserts and an LED strip light for the tailgate. Always read the reviews ;)

@@Casey250 I wouldn't trust critical components, but most of my gadgety stuff is pretty good. Just the shipping to South Africa can take up to 3 months...
What grill inserts did you buy? Did you like them?
My 69 CJ-5 has 5 slots, thats how you could tell the difference between CJ-7's and 5's. My 75 DJ-5 also has 5 slots. I think the Willys had 9 slots, ive never owned one, so not positive.
I buy electrical controls and led lights that are gonna be from China no matter where you buy them from. Also only buy stuff that you don't need any time soon it can take like 6-8 weeks to get your orders. I haven't been scammed on AliExpress either because Ali holds your payment from the seller until you confirm that you received it.
There some great deals to have on Aliexpress if you have the patience on the shipping speed.

I’m ordering the fuel door today. Mopar and other dealers carry them for $129 to $169. The door thresholds run around $79 for a four door.

AliExpress has beyond legit deals! I bought my wife a 2ct Moissanite ring from AliExpress and when we took it to get the size adjusted to her finger, the jeweler was showing us similar rings he had for sale for multiples of what we paid! I will actually buy some of their flash deals sometimes and flip them for a profit to my coworkers or on some of those selling apps. More recently ppl I know were buying those cycling respirators on Amazon for $15-20, and you could get the exact same ones on AliExpress for $2-5, with probably the same shipping time due to recent events! XD XD

I just wanted to caution anyone who plans to use Aliexpress. It is a very crappy platform. The jist of there services is that there the middle man between international sellers and buyers. But they literally have no customer service department. If you run into a snag, you are on your own, and they will favor the seller. I repeat 0 customer service department. So if something goes wrong you'll be on you own. On top of this the app is too complicated, even to do basic things like change tracking number. There lack of customer service allowed the seller to steal my money and the broken merchandise I returned to the seller. All because I couldn't edit information on a single webform page, which should have been easy but for some reason was not. I tried and tried to fix it myself or to get some help from someone at aliexpress but never heard back. The time expired and seller was able to take my money and there broken watch back. DONT USE ALIEXPRESS
As a jeep owner, it’s very common for us to be patriotic. Please stop encouraging the support of Chinese companies that violate our intellectual property.
