Great video! This fishing style will put fish in the boat. I love my ACC. Turns out I’m not much of a rear reel seat type of guy so my crossover 13 doesn’t get used much but I’ll be getting the 13 mid seat cork.
Glad you're enjoying the rods! It definitely comes down to preference for the rear vs mid seat rods. We tend to use rear seat in shallower water, mid seat in deeper. Just easier to reel with mid seat in deeper water. Do you agree?
Need a video on with tips/tricks/techniques on how to cast/pitch, etc with rods 10 foot and longer when crappie fishing, I have yet to see anyone youtube make a video on this..
That is very interesting. I can not see my bait at 40 feet out and barley can see any fish that far with my livescope. Still learning. I have two ACC 11 foot poles and some ACC jigs. Hope to be able to test them soon.
@@acccrappiestix with the longer pole, I can adjust slack with my free hand and raise the pole with the other hand. The increased height causes the lure to pendulum in slower. With the increased angle, I can keep a lure in the zone longer than a shorter pole allows. The casting is easier, but with a short pole, I cannot control the lure speed.
I wish you would go somewhere else. I've lived here all my life and I was catching fish here before you ever heard of this lake. Now I can't go without 500 boats being around me or hammering tops I've put in. Do you think your impressing anyone by putting it on RUclips? We locals really appreciate 🤦♂️
Craig you are the man! Want to see more with you! Kyle can stay behind the camera.
Great video... I could watch this all day... Make a video doing it 25 times please...

He was using a 12’ what exactly would you like to see? Thanks
@@acccrappiestix a video on how to cast and pitch long rods etc.
Awesome video! One question I have is do you always use 3/8 jig heads? If not when do you know to down size the jig heads?
It will very much depend on the fishing conditions. Some days the crappie bite will be tough and you'll need to downsize
Can you share specifics on the reel? I have the 12' crossover rod with a spinning, and love it.
Great video Craig 👍
Appreciate the support! What other crappie fishing content would you like to see?
Good video. Is this Blue Mountain Lake in Arkansas?
It is blue mountain
Yes it is.

Might need to play around with some settings to get a clearer picture. Hope you love the rods and jigs!
Really great video nice crappie!
Appreciate it! What other content would you like to see?
What bow
graph mount is on this boat?
Cornfiled crappie
Need to get better at this style of slab hunting
It definitely takes a lot of practice and hours on the water!
Did you say 3/8 ounce jig?
I'm pitching on them way farther, like 25 feet. Using a 13 crossover and spinning reel.
Great technique! Still pitching or have you tried casting with a shorter rod?

Fun to watch not much info - you go to a lake that has 130,000 surface how do you find them
😅 👍🏻👍🏻
Always show catching them but never how to look for them.
