Just came across your channel this morning. I enjoy "build" videos... Your bench work caught my eye. I checked out this video and enjoyed the presentation and content. I subbed, clicked the bell..so, I can get the alert when you post future uploads about your build. Currently I am in N also. My experience has been nothing except Atlas Flex code 80 & Atlas streamline switches. Like you both Mike Fifer and Roy from the UP Evanston Sub Div have been of interest to me. The more I see Kato track the better I like it.. so, yeah.. I'm very interested in following your build. Tom
Thanks for the sub. I have used KATO for many years, but only for temporary layouts to learn DCC, operations and to experiment with things like block detection. After watching Mike's layout evolve over time I decided to try a small scenic layout. Like any track system, there are pros and cons of course. I'll make some videos about my experiences with KATO in the future.
Wow! I can't believe i saw this layout. I've been trying to figure out what shape layout would work best in my attic. This looks like about the only shape layout I can fit up there among all the other stuff that's been stored up therefor years. Let me know when you have any updates....as I'm not even started with anything but a lot of layouts and videos stored on my computer for reference once I decide what to do...and that goes for even whether to go HO or N gauge. Looks like I' going N though.
Yes. Very annoying isn't it? Found out my phone case was covering another mic port. Problem has been corrected. I was disappointed that it came out like that. Appreciate the heads up!
Thanks for the mention !!!
In the 2+ years of trying to model N scale, I've learned (the hard way) that both HO & N require the same size layout.
Benchwork looks great.. thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.. Lance
Looks well built!
A Father and some operation Rocks.Give the Son Hands on is Good.it’s Gonna change But look good when done.
