  • Landscape photography when focus stacking, camera settings doing landscape. How to focus stack and align your photography in Photoshop & Lightroom editing.
✅ To focus stack when taking photography, follow these steps:
    1. Choose your composition and set up your tripod. It's important to have a stable camera when focus stacking, so using a tripod is essential.
    2. Compose your photo as you would normally, but keep in mind that you'll need to take multiple shots with different focus points.
3.Close your aperture. A narrower aperture (higher f-stop number) will give you a greater depth of field, which means more of your scene will be in focus. Aim for an f-stop of f/8 or higher it also depends how much object that are in the composition from the foreground to the background.
    4. Set your shutter speed and ISO. If you're using a tripod, you can use a slow shutter speed to keep your ISO low. However, if you're shooting handheld, you'll need to use a faster shutter speed to avoid blurry photos.
    5. Focus on different areas of your scene. Starting with the foreground, take a photo with your focus point on that area. Then, move your focus point to the middle ground and take another photo. Continue this process until you've taken a photo with your focus point on the background. These 3 focus points are a minimum advice, do not hesitate to take more if you feel it's needed.

I am not a pro I just want to share my journey and what I learn myself, and hopefully someone else can also learn from my journeys mistakes and stepstones towards becoming a better photographer and video creator.
In this video I spent the week inbetween nightshifts and afternoonshifts out in the nice autumn weather capturing some decent autumn landscape photography and made this video on how you can get your photos even sharper with this technique, in my opinion this technique is situation based and also on how you like your photos to look, but in this video I give you the easy step by step tutorial and some editing together with camera settings and tips for landscape photography.
