  • The blasphemous false gospel of Calvinist doctrine is exposed by the true nature and love of God delineated in the Bible; and this video hopes to begin to show this through reasoning from the Holy Scriptures. Calvinist fundamentals are undoubtedly doctrines of devils.

My eyes were opened to the lack of love with Calvinism when at the church we formerly belonged to, I was teaching 'Jesus Loves Me' to the children in the nursery. I was rebuked by the pastor since we don't know if they are of the elect. I'm still trying to recover from the damage that was done to my marriage and family by those years under that false system.

Thank you for sharing that experience. I've often discussed the obvious logical ends of Calvinist theology to this end, but seldom run into anyone who has seen it first hand. I guess that pastor is to be commended at least for his honest consistency, it's kind of rare. Calvinists do believe God does love the 'elect',(as they define them), but only the elect. However, unfortunately, they do not know who these 'elect' are as it relates to any specific person. Consequently they do not know if they are actually 'elected' to salvation for certain. In fact they do not actually know any particular person they can say with certainty that God loves... not even the man in the mirror, (or his kids). The tragic effect is that their doctrine has erected an impenetrable wall which quite literally separates them from the Love of God.

Top class points you make. I have wondered how a Calvinist prays; for, he takes to his knees, begins praising a God who, in his view, has (speaking statistically) chosen to damn many of his beloved family members when He could, alternatively, just save them. Surely a Calvinist, deep down, has a great resentment and natural abhorrence of the false God he has erected in his heart.

There is one place in the Bible where Calvinism first raised its ugly head and that was in Genesis.
Let me quote from the father of all lies.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” GENESIS 3: 3
"DID GOD REALLY SAY?" Satan speaks through Calvinists the same way today!
    "DID GOD REALLY SAY?"
For God so loved THE world that he gave his one and only Son, that WHOEVER believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
    "DID GOD REALLY SAY?"
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants ALL people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for ALL people. 1 Timothy 2 : 3-6
    "DID GOD REALLY SAY?"
For I take no pleasure in ANYONE'S death, declares the Lord GOD. So repent and live! Ezekiel 18:32
    "DID GOD REALLY SAY?"
Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:22
I say this to satan and all his children of the anti-Gospel of Reformed Calvinism.
YES! YES! YES! YES! HE DID!
Deformed Calvinism FOOLISHNESS BASED ON MANS WISDOM WILL NOT STAND AGAINST IT!
REPENT and be BAPTIZED for the forgiveness of your sins and you will be saved.
Calvinism has no salvation in it, for it is just another cult pretending to be a branch of Christianity.

@TheEnglishFundamentalist the exact opposite... it straps away all pride and arrogance and gives all glory and praise to God which is where it belongs. It is not a man centered theology such as yours, but rather focuses the center of its theology around Christ while opening the eyes of the sinner to see how amazing grace truly is. It is a shame you put so much effort into shaming strawmen instead of just preaching the word of God to all who are lost so that the work of the Holy Spirit can be done through you. But if you would rather strawman such a glorious biblical faith then worry not, because God has raised up His people who will share His gospel and understand that we are Christ's workmanship created in Him to do good works (including the sharing of His love and gospel). This is such a rich teaching, it’s my second time around 🙂
I was reminded to comment to it when in Exodus 14.. “the Lord hardened Pharaohs heart.”
“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:31-33‬ ‭(side note the effect of this verse to this: Matthew 12:43-45)
Well now Jesus is drawing ALL men unto Himself.. ALL. (No hardening)
“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭7:37-39‬ ‭
Yeah this is called GRACE, the mercy and unmerited goodness of God available to ALL. (Any man/person)
“We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, And in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:1-2‬ ‭
In the midst of dark times and end days, it really is the best of days in the last.. grace is available! What a time to live and receive Him and share Him with others!
    “Now is the accepted time”
“But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:39‬ ‭

Good evening. You make an important point that I haven't really explored - that of the impact upon a person tutored under a Calvinistic system. I suspect many adopt Calvinist ideals for a number of unstable and unbalanced reasons, and it may say much about an individual who seems to delight in the horrors of Calvinist election and predestination. But I am sure that many children/young adults trained under Calvinism may indeed develop a mentality and philosophical outlook that is fatalistic and bereft of any true meaning. Do you know my friend, one of the strongest testimonies against Calvinistic doctrines is the conscience of Man, which truly shrinks back in horror at the unreal and absurd (and blasphemous) suggestions of extremist election/predestination ideas. Why would God endow us with a conscience which abominates the alleged way in which He operates (if Calvinism were to be true?) Our inner constitution testifies loudly and finally - Calvinists are terribly wrong.
Thanks for your helpful words my friend.

Thank you for a very wonderful explanation and video. In my view, THIS is the problem with 'reformed'/Calvinist teaching at its core; those accepting its false premises as truth have fallen prey to the same lie Satan posed to Eve in the Garden. The effect of which is to foster a fundamental doubt about the goodness of God as it correlates to the very conscience God gave to all men. It describes the nature and motives of an all powerful creator which literally begs the question if God can ever truly be trusted.... bringing into doubt His character. Despite the fact that scripture declares God truly IS the personification of "Love"... not as an adjective, but a noun, they prefer to focus on his supreme power as His most significant attribute.

What a very profound and excellent summary. I'm very taken with these words of yours. They remind me that just the other day I was reading Ephesians and was convicted on a couple of occasions, particularly chapter 2 verses 4-9, that, in describing our perilous situation and the glorious remedy, emphasis is placed not on sovereignty or power, but rather,
"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us" and so on. The basis is God's great love, and I am yet to find a Calvinist who can explain how God switches this love off in order to apparently not elect multitudes upon multitudes of souls. Because of God's nature, if He were in the business of electing people against their will, ALL would be saved! John 3:16, about God so loving the WORLD, must also be a conundrum to Calvinists, leading to their farcical reinterpretation of the word "world". Why they are so desperate to maintain this strange philosophy of Calvinism, I do not know. It is a horror to man's natural tendencies and conscience, God testifying through our natural constitution that it cannot be so.
You sum it up so beautifully my friend, and I learn so much from the contributors to this channel. In this video I desired to avoid theoretical theology and hit the heart and reality of the matter, and I'm so glad you see it this way too.
      Thanks for your support.

@@TheEnglishFundamentalist Your insight re; seeing one's brother in need and closing up the bowels of compassion and denying the Love of God within as a juxtaposition to God's nature vs. the God of Calvinism is quite good in my opinion. I've often mentioned this passage in the context of our responsibility to help others when we 'see' or become aware of someone in need which we can meet and not waiting for a brother to humble himself, 'hat in hand' asking for help. It obviously declares the nature of a loving God, but I did not make the connection in relation to it's application regarding the nature of the God which Calvinism portrays.
It seems to me that Calvinism's premises attract a certain personality type which aspires to intellectual superiority, (or those willing to hitch their star to those who do). The ideology offers the unique seduction of claiming a special knowledge of the metaphysical realm while simultaneously affording plausible deniability....because "God did it" to them and it was not the result of any effort on their part... and they just don't know why God didn't do it for you too, (bless your reprobated heart). All the while they can maintain in their 'unworthiness' how "humbled" they are by it all none the less. It's basically a perfect trap to seduce the fallen nature of prideful man. It's a shame so many are fallen prey to it.
I understand Calvinism quite well, but if I had a nickel for very time I was told "you don't understand Calvinism" I'd have bucket full of nickels.🤣

Just as we as humans who are made in the image of God, would not select some of our own children as unredeemable by our will, God does not select a single soul to be unredeemable. Satan rebelled not by the will of God but because God created him with a free will. The origin of evil is a mystery, but as of now we see through a glass darkly. God is love, pure love. There is no wickedness in God. God hates evil. God is not evil. Calvinist doctrine is heresy and truly deceptive just as Satan is truly deceptive.

The "ELECT" is the name for humans that have become adopted into Gods family through their repenting and being baptized.
The Angels are called His Elect Angels. Once again a name for a group of Holy Angels. (Nothing to do with salvation)
It is not a title for the selective, lottery salvation winners, of Calvinism.
God calls Israel His “elect” or “chosen” people. It has nothing to do with salvation or every Jew would be saved.
Chosen and election mean the same thing. It is always used for title of a group, or what service God has offered for you to do if you are willing.
It NEVER is about salvation or condemnation by God!
      Salvation is available to ALL.
We simply, or not so simply, have to reach out and take hold of the life preserver held out in front of us.

Hi Charles. Your comment has greatly encouraged me. Thank you. I do struggle with the Lutheran view on the Eucharist, and it is sad that many accept Luther's teaching in other areas also - the man was undoubtedly brave and used greatly to break the Roman yoke, but with respect his system was not in line with the purity of reforms that many other martyrs before and after him were calling for; heroes who died who scarcely anyone knows of. But God knows. I find it sad that the reformation is called "The reformation", as if this one event over the span of decades was the only pure break from Rome. It was indeed a most emphatic blow to religious tyranny (though some reformers themselves set up persecutory systems instead), and a liberation from the Roman bishop; but reform and reformers had been working and dying for many centuries before (and after) who were more biblical in their position.
Great to hear from you. Thanks for your kind words.

Hi. I believe the passage you reference, from Romans chapter 9, does not deal at all with the eternal destiny of Jacob and Esau, but their national destiny and purpose; similar with Pharaoh later in the chapter. The "vessels of wrath" in that chapter (verse 22) are "fitted to destruction", not chosen to eternal damnation. Verses 22-23 again deal with the election of DESTINY for those entering God's mercy, as Ephesians 1 and elsewhere, but such passages are inexcusably misinterpreted from a consistent scriptural whole by Calvinists, seemingly desperate to validate their ridiculous system.

Hi mate. We have to balance that with the fact that Jesus Christ invites us to "come" in other places, such as Matthew 11. In the previous chapter of John, chapter 5, we see in verse 40 that the people would "not come" unto Christ, that they might have life. In John 6.51 we see salvation open to "any man". In verse 54, "Whoso". Verse 64 shows foreknown once more as a foundation of verse 44, for in verse 65 this is equated to that saying. It's foreknowledge, not fore-ordination.

I find it remarkable that devout Calvinists DENY Calvinistic doctrine in the way that they LIVE - many Calvinists actually practice differently to their beliefs; they would help both children if two were drowning, not leaving one to drown to demonstrate some skewed idea of God's "sovereignty"; they would try and rescue someone from danger instead of fatalistically resigning their fate unto potential death, etc. Most Calvinists are hypocrites, who in reality DREAD the doctrines they profess to believe, and would refuse to practice such if they had to choose one family member for safety and another to perish. Man's conscience is testimony enough that God only choosing a small number for salvation when He could have chosen ALL is a slanderous abomination against our God. If God were in control of who would be saved, then all would be saved. But we have free will; and I am very pleased to hear from you, and to find another soul who not only rejects satanic Calvinistic doctrine, but who is also a KJV reader. Hi. That's what I call a good, genuine, important question. Thank you.
I loved reading J C Ryle. From what I gathered from his writings, he was hesitant in his position regarding adopting a Calvinist viewpoint, yet confessed the presence of portions of scripture that he wrestled with regarding election and predestination. In answer to your question, we must test all things by the Word of God; godly as these men may have been, they are not infallible, and though some teaching may be sound, it is my opinion, as this video summarises, that election and predestination are concerning the blessings that believers are granted by God, rather than their being converted by God's decision. (Those who believe in Him, He has predestined unto great blessing; indeed, those He FOREKNEW he has chosen unto precious blessings and mercies. )
So as the Bereans are commended to us by God for personal responsibility in testing claims by scripture, so we must do, even if teachers have a previous history of sound words.
Really appreciate your engagement here, thank you.

    • @KyleFosburgh
      @KyleFosburgh 2 года назад

@@TheEnglishFundamentalist I agree. How verse 13 has been perverted by so called "scholars" to pertain to eternal Salvation is blasphemous. To interpret it that way not only goes against the context of the passage, but it contradicts what we read in John 3:16-18 (ie. "whosoever").
The context of Romans 9 is in reference to the promises made to to Jews (ie. national Israel). This is plainly evident.
Furthermore, "compassion" and "mercy" have been conflated with forgiveness of sin and Salvation. It's true that the language of Romans 9 is all-encompassing and inclusive, but twisting the text to mean that God chooses some to Salvation and some to damnation without the individual having a choice is outright heresy. Obviously the focus here is on the nation of Israel vs. the Gentile nations. The text reads in an inclusive manner because the idea of being God's people and ultimately being Saved are inseparable in purpose. But that doesn't mean that God's compassion, mercy and favor to some and not others here on Earth excludes anyone from the opportunity to be Saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. God is willing that ALL men be saved. God used Israel as a light to the world, then they rejected their Messiah and God went to the Gentiles. Likewise, we are now "salt and light" to the world. We read that God is no respecter of persons .. and so the system we live under is no longer about nationality, but "whosoever" believes on the Lord Jesus Christ.

What is Predestination? Well it goes like this.
Predestination example 1: Its kind of like this. A man’s wife is finally pregnant and the couple are over joyed. I hope it is a boy the man said and I hope he will be interested in becoming an electrician like me. I also hope he goes into the trade and if he does, I plan for him to take over the family business some day! But I know that these plans that I have made for him, before one of his days of life begin will be entirely up to my son. I cannot force him, I cannot put a gun to his head, I can only encourage and guide him and hope. In other word’s the man has predestined a plan for his son, He has chosen a plan for his son. He has elected to give all this to his son if he so desires it!
Outcome 1 The baby is born and it is a boy. He is interested in his fathers work and goes to electrical trade school, but drops out and becomes a lawyer instead.
Outcome 2 He drops out of school becomes a bum, a drunk or a murderer etc.
Outcome 3 The son follows his fathers predestinated plan, through trade school and takes over his father’s business. The fathers predestined plans for his son will happen, or will not happen, according to the choices the son makes.
Its the same with mankind. There is a master plan given to every human being to know God, reach salvation and eternity in Heaven.
But to follow or reject the plan is the choice given to every individual.
This is the "Good News Gospel" that the Angels proclaimed when the Messiah was born.
Satan has attacked that message from the beginning, twisting it into what is now known as Calvinism or the doctrine of election.
    Predestination example 2:
Grandma saves and saves to buy her granddaughter a plane ticket to France. She has been saving for many years and the day finally arrived and she gave her granddaughter her special gift.
The granddaughter goes to the airport and asks the attendant which plane to get on. The attendant says, what is your destination on your ticket? He reads the ticket which says “Destination France.”
He also said that flight 446 is a modern jet that was especially built and destined by the airline to fly exclusively to France for its entire service life. So, this aircraft has been predestined to fly to a predestined location, France.
The girl gets on the plane and is now destined to travel to France on the predestined plane, that has been predestined by its designers, to reach its predestined, destination!
This girl will arrive at her predestined trip that her grandmother predestined years before, as long as she goes to the airport, gets on the right plane and stays on the plane!
All this took place by the choices the granddaughter made.
Predestination example 3: "The man on an island." Imagine a man has been taken to a desolate island with everything he needs to survive and given only a Bible to occupy his time. This man has no preconceived idea about religion so everything he will learn over the next 10 years he will get directly from the Bible and Gods leading.
The man accepts God’s plan of salvation and what he has learned from the Bible. He repents and is born again.
The Holy Spirit is now counselling the man from the inside. He studies intensely for the 10 years growing in his faith and walking closer and closer with God daily.
After 10 years he comes back to the mainland world and decides he needs to fellowship with other Christians as the Bible says he should.
The man approaches a number of different churches and looks through the windows from the outside and says to himself “What are they doing in there what are they saying about God?
How do you think this man will compare what he knows to be true, from what he sees going on in the mainline churches today?
Do you think he will find what the mainline denominations are teaching will be in harmony to what this true follower of Jesus Christ has learned?
    You know it won’t be!
It then occurred to me that I am that man.
I became a Christian in the winter of 1980 and didn’t go to any church for 10 years.
I studied on my own directly from the Bible.
I did go to some Bible studies, but basically learned directly by Gods leading.

Martin Luther is another heretic that is loved by many. He preached a gospel that denies God from having righteous fruit from the saints. He hated the book of Hebrews and James and wanted to remove them because they teach "faith without works is dead." He believed in faith alone so he could proclaim he is saved and live like a sinful dog. And even today everyone is influenced by the reformers and believes in once saved always saved/ grace abusing. Because of men like Calvin and Luther we see such apostasy today. That's why we have to listen to the Holy Spirit and read the Bible plainly and not listen to evil men who wrest the scriptures. In my opinion you make some really important points, but I would disagree regarding salvation, and this is a point of the highest importance - we are indeed saved by faith, and our salvation is outside of the realm of works, deeds, merits; yet alongside this God teaches us not to abuse our freedom, and we will be chastised by His hand if we try and live loosely because we are saved once for all. Living sinfully after salvation will not hazard one's righteousness in Christ, but it will incur the chastening of the Lord.

@@TheEnglishFundamentalist I understand your viewpoint but the Bible teaches otherwise. The Bible teaches it as a covenant though which involves two parties. God does his part, but you must do yours.... we are saved by grace but we keep that grace by righteousness, repentance, obeying, keeping the commandments of Jesus, etc. It we do not, we take the grace of God in vain. Once saved always saved and faith alone is a lie. Faith is only justified by works and being faithful. We must also endure to the end. Consider these verses friend!
"And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Hebrews 5:9)
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." (Hebrews 10:26-3)
“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:5)
" Quench not the Spirit." 1 (Thessalonians 5:19-25) to quench means to put out. People have this idea that the Holy Spirit can't leave someone when it can due to idolatry. Apostasy comes from the word which means divorce. Basically God divorcing someone because they played the harlot.
The entire chapter of Matthew 25 warns about faith being justified by works.
The Reformed viewpoint is a excuse for sin, idolatry, worldliness, and a carnal man's security blanket.
"Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall."
      (1 cor 10:12)
Not every one that saith unto me, "Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 7 21)
There are many verses that warn of falling away and having to endure. Plus God spits out the lukewarm. Also this is my favorite verses that correlates to now:
"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Rev 21: 7-8)
Most people in the church system are going to hell for idolatry, sorcery, worldliness, willfully sinning, caving in and taking the mark of the beast, etc. That's why we have to put on the full armor of God and endure.
Likewise it sounds like you still believe in preservation of the saints which Calvin taught. Here is a good quote on that :
"Calvinists, who deny that salvation can ever be lost, reason on the subject in a marvelous way. They tell us, that no virgin’s lamp can go out; no promising harvest be choked with thorns; no branch in Christ can ever be cut off from unfruitfulness; no pardon can ever be forfeited, and no name blotted out of God’s book! They insist that no salt can ever lose its savor; nobody can ever “receive the grace of God in vain”; “bury his talents”; “neglect such great salvation”; trifle away “a day of grace”; “look back” after putting his hand to the gospel plow. Nobody can “grieve the Spirit” till He is “quenched,” and strives no more, nor “deny the Lord that bought them”; nor “bring upon themselves swift destruction.” Nobody, or body of believers, can ever get so lukewarm that Jesus will spew them out of His mouth. They use reams of paper to argue that if one ever got lost he was never found. John 17:12; that if one falls, he never stood. Rom. 11:16-22 and Heb. 6:4-6; if one was ever “cast forth,” he was never in, and “if one ever withered,” he was never green. John 15:1-6; and that “if any man draws back,” it proves that he never had anything to draw back from. Heb. 10:38,39; that if one ever “falls away into spiritual darkness,” he was never enlightened. Heb 6:4-6; that if you “again get entangled in the pollutions of the world,” it shows that you never escaped. 2 Pet 2:20; that if you “put salvation away” you never had it to put away, and if you make shipwreck of faith, there was no ship of faith there!! In short they say: If you get it, you can’t lose it; and if you lose it you never had it. May God save us from accepting a doctrine, that must be defended by such fallacious reasoning!”

Hitler followed Luther's teaching to the letter.
Luther inspired Hitler on how to handle Jews.
“Burn their synagogues. Forbid them all that I have mentioned above. Force them to work and treat them with every kind of severity, as Moses did in the desert and slew three thousand… If that is no use, we must drive them away like mad dogs, in order that we may not be partakers of their abominable blasphemy and of all their vices, and in order that we may not deserve the anger of God and be damned with them. I have done my duty. Let everyone see how he does his. I am excused.” (About the Jews and Their Lies,’ quoted by O’Hare, in ‘The Facts About Luther, TAN Books, 1987, p. 290.)
“ If I had to baptize a Jew, I would take him to the bridge of the Elbe, hang a stone round his neck and push him over with the words I baptize thee in the name of Abraham” (Grisar, “Luther”, Vol. V. pg. 413.)
“The Jews deserve to be hanged on gallows seven times higher than ordinary thieves.”(Weimar, Vol. 53, Pg. 502.)
Luther was a Calvinist before Calvin.
Luther teaches: “…with regard to God, and in all that bears on salvation or damnation, (man) has no ‘free-will’, but is a captive, prisoner and bond slave, either to the will of God, or to the will of Satan.”
(From the essay, ‘Bondage of the Will,’ ‘Martin Luther: Selections From His Writings, ed. by Dillenberger, Anchor Books, 1962 p. 190.)
“…we do everything of necessity and nothing by ‘free-will’; for the power of ‘free-will’ is nil…” (Ibid., p. 188.)
“Man is like a horse. Does God leap into the saddle? The horse is obedient and accommodates itself to every movement of the rider and goes whither he wills it. Does God throw down the reins? Then Satan leaps upon the back of the animal, which bends, goes and submits to the spurs and caprices of its new rider… Therefore, necessity, not free will, is the controlling principle of our conduct. God is the author of what is evil as well as of what is good, and, as He bestows happiness on those who merit it not, so also does He damn others who deserve not their fate.”
(‘De Servo Arbitrio’, 7, 113 seq., quoted by O’Hare, in ‘The Facts About Luther, TAN Books, 1987, pp. 266-267.)
“His (Judas) will was the work of God; God by His almighty power moved his will as He does all that is in this world.”
(De servo Arbitrio, against man’s free will.)
That is why I go after Cults like this because they are hindering souls looking for God. They cripple those who are true baby Christians. They slander the work of the cross and refuse to come into salvation themselves.

    Titus 2:11
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Now i know the calvanist will say this is talking about the elect but if we use the way Isaiah said to read the bible we will see this is not the case.
    Isaiah 28:10
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
Not exegesis and all these man made terms it is line upon line here a little there a little which means you use other scriptures to understand them .
So now it tells us the grace of god that bringeth salvation had appeared to all men lets figure out who these men are as it must show us somewhere these all men are seeing salvation.
    Turn to Luke 3:6
All flesh shall see the salvation of God
Using line upon line we can see the all.men Paul is speaking of is all flesh and all flesh is always used as a term for all humans all people. You will also notice it is chapter 3 verse 6 the same as Genesis when the fall happened because the Word of God is supernatural. So in Genesis 3:6 all flesh becomes fallen so in Luke 3:6 the grace that bringeth salvation comes to all flesh and has appeared to all men.

Hi. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Romans 9 is concerning the election of God unto certain purposes, but not individual election of souls unto an eternal destiny. There is a big difference which Calvinists seem to miss sadly. At the start of Romans 9 we see Paul's love and desire for all - he would die if it meant they could be saved - this prelude to the chapter sets the scene; how can man have such love (see 1John 3 also) yet God be cold and hard towards souls? Election regarding our salvation is seen in 2Thessalonians chapter 2 - God has chosen us ( who believe and respond to the truth) unto salvation - those who respond to Him are chosen to certain blessings, which is what Ephesians 1 is about, which again Calvinists misread.

Why would this be mentioned in the Bible if it wasn’t a truth that God wanted us to learn? Even though she worshipped God, she was still unable to understand unless God opened her heart. God must open the heart of every person who hears the Gospel (who is one of the elect) which is why many who hear don’t believe, not because they don’t want to but perhaps they aren’t one of the elect and God never opens their heart or grants them biblical repentance which leads to salvation. I’ve studied both sides for a while now and I just can’t seem to get away from the fact that God’s sovereign will is at hand during the process of one’s salvation. The "flesh" is the "seed of Abraham" (Hebrews 2:16. “For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham." Paul says 2 Timothy 1:9 KJV “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own *purpose and grace* , which was given us *in Christ Jesus* *before the world began* ,”
So "election" refers to God's purpose in Christ which was given "us" who believe (the inheritance, the new man, new heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem, forgiveness of sins, etc...) from before the world began.
Romans 8:29 For whom he did *foreknow* , he also did predestinate to be conformed to the *image of his Son*
(1 Cor 15:44 KJV There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47The first man is of the earth, earthy: the *second man is the Lord* from heaven. 48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.)
Everything happens in Christ Jesus. So by Christ Jesus was everything made, that would include the Old Adam. He is the firstborn. When Christ Jesus took on the "seed of Abraham" he took on human flesh and blood and was nailed to the cross, "condemning" sin "in the flesh" of his body. What body? The Old Adam, flesh and blood.
Now when Jesus Christ was raised by the power of the "eternal Spirit" he was raised incorruptible, the glorified body (1 Cor 15, the heavenly man). It is this heavenly man which is the "new man" that Paul speaks of, and is the "elect". Romans 9 speaks of the "vessels of wrath" and "vessels of Mercy". The Old Adam is the vessel of wrath, and the Heavenly Man (New Adam) is the "vessel of Mercy", the "predestinated", and "chosen elect".
A person is born again (=new man) when they believe on Jesus Christ, and the Gospel. This is the inheritance. All this is done in Christ Jesus who "before Abraham was, I AM"
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits *of the Spirit* , even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for *the adoption* , to wit, the *redemption of our body* . (the redemption of our body = the heavenly tabernacle 2 cor 5)
The Resurrection (the Second Adam=glorified body) is by the "eternal Spirit" or by the operation of God by the Spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be *born again* .
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is *born of the Spirit* .
I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to with your question of the difference between adoption and the spirit of adoption. Perhaps you could explain that more.

I am definitely not a Calvinist, but I like how you took a couple of scriptures and twisted them to say what you wanted. You are basically saying that God does not know who is going to choose to be saved, like he is sitting on pins and needles just wondering what’s going to happen. Yes, God sent his only begotten son that who so ever believes in him should have everlasting life but God also knows not everyone is going to believe in him, hence the wide path to hell. I guess you missed “do not cast your pearls before swine“ what would you do about that one?.. most people who travel down this path, like you seem to, run into the idea of letting most people into heaven because of “gods love“, that is a dangerous line of thought. Justin peters is showing Real heresies and real blasphemies, he is doing his job of warning people against falling for these satanic twisting of scriptures to suit their own lifestyles.

Is it not true that there is not one man who deserves salvation? Then if that is true, and it most certainly is, then what is wrong with God choosing whom is His own and those He just leaves in their sin? God doesn’t need to show anyone mercy, justice yes, but in no way does God need to show anyone mercy. I see no problem with the Lord choosing those for His own, I mean, He is the creator, right? I am only saved because God elected me and appointed me to be His, and He did it because of nothing that I myself did, He did it because He has the freedom to do it for His own glory and purpose.

      Good afternoon.
I believe that you are not at all reflecting biblical definitions of love, or of who God is. You seem also, as many others, to limit the definition of glory to being a matter of control, of sovereignty. You have also detached theology from reality - ripping the heart out of the genuine gospel. The glory of God consists in who He really is, and this includes gracious and merciful. Logic alone will tell us, conscience too, that it is scarcely a glorious thing to allow a child to perish just to demonstrate that you own the lifeboat company. It is cruelty and wickedness.
Please read the Bible for definitions of God, His glory and His love. Yes, God is sovereign - He can indeed do as He pleases - and thus ALL would be saved if He decided the matter as you claim, this being what He desires. With respect, it is not I who am robbing God of His glory; Calvinists do so by absurdly dissecting God into pieces and creating a monstrosity that is both horrific and unbiblical. Calvinism is not spoken against harshly enough - it is a false gospel.

Wow. So Calvinism had nothing to do with thd production of the KJV-because it did. Puritans who suggested the translation-they were Calvinists. King James himself-a Calvinist who by the way picked and commissioned the delegates representing the Church of England to the Synod of Dort. Believe he also picked the Scottish delegates as well. One British delegate was a translator of the AV.
So most of the translators were Calvinists.
Guess who else was a Calvinist? Theodore Beza whose edition of the TR was used to translate the NT. He just happened to be the protege of John Calvin and took over for him after Calvin died.
So if you think Calvinism is so reprehensible and opposes sound doctrine-why do you use a work of Calvinism as your Bible-the KJV. Don’t you think you should be consistent between your stated beliefs and practices? So when do you plan on throwing your KJV in the garbage can and pick a different translation to use? Or are you going to remain inconsistent, continue using the KJV, and basically continue your spiritual life as a hypocrite-one who has standards of theology that you do not follow yourself.

Are you saying the KJV is a Calvinist Bible? Your argument is a 2+2 = 5 argument. Those involved in the KJV also believed in the horrific unbiblical priest/laity system, infant baptism etc, but it doesn't make the KJV a Romish Bible. The English Bible is a work of God, not Calvinists; tools are used by God, but everything those tools hold doesn't impress onto scripture. If it's hypocrisy by me to hold my KJV in one hand and abominate Calvinism in the other, what of the Calvinists, who, as you assert, produced a KJV which actually testifies AGAINST their system! Are you sure the English Bible is a reflection of Calvinists? No. It is a production of God. Your enthusiasm for a false gospel has blinded you to simple Bible truths. Holding the views that you do, it is no marvel to me that you are quick to label me a hypocrite and demonstrate an uncharitable tone - just like the false God you have erected, for whatever reason, to confide and hide in. Genuine question; how do you define "world" in John 3:16 ?

@@TheEnglishFundamentalist God had nothing to do with the KJV. How do I know this? It is taught nowhere in the scriptures. English was not even a language (could be wrong but do not think German was a language either as English is a derivative of the German tongue.) My point is, how can you believe this when it is not found anywhere in the scriptures? Of course if we go by the practice of the authors of the NT, sometimes they quoted the Septuagint while other times the quoted an edition of the Hebrew OT ( the Masoretic text was not made until well past the writing of the NT between the seventh and tenth Century AD.) My point is the practice of the authors of the NT had no problem using multiple versions of the Bible as opposed to sticking to just one text.
I define the word world no different than what it means in its normative sense in the context of John three. In fact, I get on Calvinists for two reasons-they bring up the fact the word for world has a semantic range in meaning...could mean this (people alive when uttered by Christ or when John penned it) or mean that (the elect). The problem with doing interpretation this way is the fact they do not really make an argument using semantic domains. World means everyone and would tell anyone all one has to do is look and see how it is used in John three after verse 16. Besides some pretty poor Eisegesis by Calvinists, some get shocked to learn John Calvin defined the word, “world” and “whosoever” as a universal ideal. Though I disagree with some of his other constructions of doctrine(double predestination and the decrees of God), in all his writings including his Institutes, not one time has John Calvin ever affirmed Limited Atonement. In fact when Moses Amyraut taught unlimited atonement, when a Synod was convened to deal with this very issue, he appealed to the fact John Calvin did not teach Limited Atonement. His view was judged to be in line with Reformed Orthodoxy (Calvinism).
You have no problem condemning Calvinists and I would say if you are going to condemn Calvinists-be consistent. Let your orthopraxi match your orthodoxy.
Did you know King James had Arminians arrested after the Synod of Dort when they balked at his ideal to sign a loyalty oath, to not preach against him or the Church of England. Why was that? He was in league with Holland (Synod of Dort essentially sealed this alignment) to go to war with Catholic Spain. He saw this being a problem-but especially after the gun powder plot when Catholics tried blowing up parliament with King James and the serving body with him.
On the other hand, the KJV was just an updating of the Bishop’s Bible which is also a Calvinist/reformed product.
It is easy to start slinging mud at people but I am shocked that you have a problem with this when I am acting just like you.
Personally, I could care less what Bible you or anyone ever uses. I just have a problem with condemning holders of a particular doctrine or system of theology but will not act on the standard they created for others.

I heard one calvinist say he knew he was saved because he loved Jesus, but the jesus of calvinism is NOT any more the Jesus of the Bible than the jesus of the jehovah witnesses or mormons.

The world hates Calvinism because it takes away the idea of Man's controlling his own destiny. But as Scripture bears out, we are all put here for GOD's purposes,Not our own. This is what Calvinism teaches. Calvinism recognizes that if you are Saved, it is because you were chosen by God. You were Predestined to be Saved and serve the Purposes of our God and you chosen for that reason before the Foundation of the World. This is all clearly stated in Scripture. Those who are rebellious to God's Plan of Salvation are rebelling out of Human Pride. Read the book of Ephesians and the book of Romans for yourself and listen to what the Scriptures tell you. You don't have to believe some one else's interpretation when you can understand it yourself. if your a sheep belonging to the Good Shepard, you will recognize the Shepard's Voice and you will know the Truth. Jesus said "I know my Sheep and am known by my own." Jesus said "I know my sheep and they follow me". Jesus said " My father who has given them to me, is greater than all and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand." This is what John Calvin believed is true and so do I. One of the worst things a person can do is call the Holy Spirit Evil as the Man is this video claims. The Truth is in the Scriptures. Romans 8 and 9 means exactly what it says. So does Ephesians 1. Read and listen to the Holy Spirit who does not lie. He will give you an understanding of what you are reading. May God bless you as you read.

The world, and the born again Christian, hates Calvinism because it is an abomination and scandal unto our God-given conscience. It is remarkably that Calvinists sit comfortable with the astonishing contradiction that a Calvinistic God supposedly gives us a conscience that hates and detests Calvinistic doctrine and theory. I agree that Romans 9 and Ephesians 1 mean what the say - national destiny for Israel and predestined spiritual blessings for those responding to God; with no mention of being chosen to believe.

The irony of this is that he is literally calling God's word "theology of satan."
If you understood God's word then you would understand there is "none righteous, not one."
And that the ONLY reason even ONE Person was saved out of OT Israel was because "GOD left a remnant" otherwise they "would become like sodom, we would have been like gomorrah." (Romans 9:29)
Read Ezekiel 6 where God condemns ALL of them of sin and says "Yet I will save SOME of you."
You would understand that the ENTIRE PROBLEM with the old covenant was man's "free will" because it relied on "If a man DOES these things he will live" (Leviticus 18:5, Romans 10:5)
God gave His laws and statutes to Israel and them ALONE (Psalm 147:19-20) They WERE supposed to "be a light for the gentiles" but they FAILED and NONE were worthy of salvation. NONE "chose" to follow The LORD.
THIS is why we learn in the NEW Testament "By the works of the law NO man will be justified." (Galatians 2:16)
WHY? Because *RELYING ON MAN'S FREE WILL IS THE VERY PROBLEM*
Read Hebrews 8 Where GOD tells us the TWO PROBLEMS with the Old Covenant:
8 But God *FOUND FAULT WITH THE PEOPLE* and said:
(THE PEOPLE were the problem with the Old Covenant)
“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a *NEW COVENANT*
with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.
9 It will *NOT BE LIKE THE OLD COVENANT* (The NC will NOT rely on "The People")
    I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt,
*BECAUSE* (Here's where you need to listen. God is about to tell us WHY the Old Covenant failed "because of the people"*)
*THEY DID NOT REMAIN FAITHFUL to my covenant*

So God needs to change libertarian free will into a compatible one in order to keep His faithful covenant and yet we still see a remnant despite libertarian freewill?

Apply whatever philosophical terms you like, but what I've written is bibe truth.
      Ezekiel 36
22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God:
*I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake*
which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.
23 And *I WILL SANCITFY* My great name, which has been profaned among the nations,
which *YOU HAVE PROFANED* in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.
      NOTICE 2 Things:
      1. God does what He does for HIS sake, NOT mankind's sake! *IT'S NOT ABOUT US*
This is a MAJOR reason why many refuse to believe what the bible ACTUALLY says. They're stuck on the "What about OUR free will" narravite.
      2. Again, look what mankind's "Free Will" accomplished. They PROFANED God's name!
      *Continued*
24 For *I WILL* take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.
25 Then *I WILL* sprinkle clean water on you,and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. (CLEAN WATER IS GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT. SEE JOHN 3)
26 *I WILL* give you a new heart and put a
*NEW SPIRIT* within you; (NEW SPIRIT = BORN AGAIN. SEE JOHN 3)
*I WILL* take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
27 *I WILL* put My Spirit within you and
*I WILL CAUSE YOU* to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
(AGAIN, THIS IS GOD WORKING *IN US* (SEE PHILIPPIANS 2:13)
28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.
29 *I WILL* deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.
30 And *I WILL* multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations.
31 *THEN* (Notice what the people will do *AFTER GOD DOES HIS WORK....IN......THEM*
you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations.
(THIS IS CALLED REPTENTANCE AND SORROW FOR SIN AND IT IS GOD'S WORK..IN...US FOR..
"the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" (Romans 2:4)
32 Not for your sake do I do this,” says the Lord God, “let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel!”
Do you see all of the "I WILL" statements? Salvation is ALL of God, from start to finish.
"He who *BEGAN* a good work
*WILL COMPLETE IT* until the day of Jesus Christ;" (Philippians 1:6)

Also, the fact that you bring up a philosophical argument is not a coincidence. It's the same line of thinking that Paul warned against in several of his writings. Using "human" or "philosophical" arguments:
      Colossians 2:8-10 (NKJ)
8 Beware lest anyone *cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit*
*according to the tradition of men* according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
      9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
      Romans 3:
5But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who inflicts wrath?
      *I speak as a man*
Here, Paul articulates the argument he knows his detractors will make and says "I speak as a man" meaning, I'm making philosophical arguments of MEN.
      *Paul's answer*
6Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world?
7For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
Again, Paul makes a nonsense philosophical argument that only men without knowledge would make.
      *Paul's answer*
why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”?-as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say.
      *Their condemnation is just*
Stop using philosophical arguments and understand what God's word ACTUALLY says!
"“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts." - Isaiah 55:8-9

No, it has EVERYthing to do with philosophy. This is not a "straw man" argument. I have laid out for you using two different scritpures the biblical doctrine of how man's "Free will" works.
God has not "changed" man's free will. Again, your words demonstrate your lack of understanding of scripture. Respectfully.
You literally begin with the premise (whether spoken or unspoken)
We KNOW that man has the free will to choose God. Now let's understand election from there.
But the bible does not teach this "free will." The bible literally teaches just the opposite, as I have already demonstrated.
The ONLY thing man's free will does is "CHOOSE" to sin and drives him AWAY from God.
      Remember God's words?
"THEY turned away from me, so I TURNED away from them!"
Yes, we DO have free will. We do what we WANT to do, and again *THAT IS THE PROBLEM*
A rattlensake has "Free Will" to do what a rattlesnake WANTS to do. Slither onto a warm rock or into a cool hole in the ground.
What a rattlensake cannot do is "Choose" to have the dispostion and nature of a harmless kitten!
That would require a change of NATURE or a change of HEART!
*AND ONLY GOD CAN DO THAT*
This is precisely what Ezekiel 36 is telling us!
Our hearts are like stone by NATURE!
We do not choose God because we cannot choose God!
Can an Ethiopian change his skin or a leopard its spots? *Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil*
      Jeremiah 13:23
We are as Paul said, "BY NATURE, Objects of wrath" (Ephesians 2)
Unless and until GOD MOVES IN US to "take away our heart of stone and *GIVE* us a heart of flesh" by HIS will, we will NEVER "choose" to follow christ!
This is called being "quickedned" or "made alive" by GOD'S Spirit, by GOD'S Living word and by GOD'S will!
      John 3:
Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and *that which is born of the Spirit is spirit*
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’
8 The wind blows *WHERE IT WISHES* , and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes.
*SO IS EVERYONE WHO IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT* (The Spirit "blows" where HE wishes)
Jesus reveals the Father to whom HE wants (Matthew 11:27)
*Of his own will* begat he us with THE WORD OF TRUTH, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. -James 1:18
Again, stop relying on man's philosophy and start relying on what God ACTUALLY said!
I speak nothing but "the full counsel of God" and nothing I believe contradicts any other scriptures. It's called "analogy of faith." Scripture interprets scripture! It's man imposing his own thoughts and philophy into scripture that causes issues.
I am not anything. I BELIEVE God's word and God's word teaches the doctrine of Sovereign Election.
