Great tips Brooke. When we would travel I always would make lists. We always drove everywhere we went so I didn’t have to worry about passports. We always packed the car the night before and just kept out what we needed in the morning before we left. When the kids were little we didn’t have a ton of money but we always tried to make little trips fun for the kids. To make sure our money would last. I had envelopes for all the expenses, one for gas, one for hotel, one for toll roads, one for each days meals , etc. and one for fun stuff. This was before every one used credit or debit cards for everything. I always fixed the kids each a tote bag with little things for them to play with, coloring books,crayons, little games.
