April 30th, 2:30pm was the big storm (so far) in Phra Nakhon District. The rain was almost horizontal and spraying off the sides of buildings, visibility was down to around 50-60 metres and the noise was deafening (a mixture of rain on tin roofs and constant thunder cracks). By a fortunate coincidence, I was teaching a lesson on weather!
Thanks my friend for another interesting video walking under a storm in the capital BKK. I have to assume that when it rains the temperatures also drop and you shouldn't do so hot!! The rainy season has arrived.☂

I love the rainy season but my travels take me to Thailand in November. I had some good rainy evenings and nights in Phuket last December. I just love to walk in the rain and after 30 minutes you are dry because it is so warm...

What's the best month to visit Bangkok in your personal opinion? -What's the best month to visit Southern Thailand (Phuket/Samui) and Northern Thailand (Chiang Mai)? -Any good festivals/events around November? The reason I'm asking a local like yourself and not trust some of the websites because they seem outdated or not 100% accurate.
Carry your umbrella and make sure you know where flooding are always happening (ask your local friends) after a long monsoon spell krap. I love monsoon, the air is so much nicer after a heavy rain.

For Bangkok the best season is from November till End February. I am not up to date about the other regions in Thailand.

Het regent een uurtje en de rest van de dag is het droog. Het is niet zoals in Nederland.
