    How did you like that quicker paced install process? Let me know what you think is better: Slow and ultra detailed, or Quick and to the Point?

    How does the wiring work? Or does it have a battery? Bluetooth connection that you can change the colors from?

  • @sp3cia1k94

    Great looking rings, much cleaner look compared to many of the others out there. So with these I take they can be set up as white for normal and then when arriving at say the car show change the colour over to say blue or green?

    Awesome video man. New to the channel from looking at this install. I actually have these Profile Switchback halos that I'll be putting retrofitting tomorrow. Morimoto Mini H1 w/ Mini Gatling Gun shrouds. They seem to have much less margin of error than your shrouds as the bezels are pretty much right there. Any tips? Also, TRS recommended a 70mm halo for front fitting but the diameter seems smaller than the actual projector hole opening by a few mm, is this normal??? I really enjoy that tip by using the little install tabs and just bending the small metal piece then using epoxy on the shroud inside. Thanks!

    I'm installing these on 350z DEPO lights where the ring installs there are 2 raise areas that don't allow the rings to sit flush except for those 2 areas can I just E6000 these on or will it cause problems?

    Hey 👋 I want to ask, I have installed the spectrum angle eyes for a commodore 2011 VE . Post installation the lights will just begin strobing in the middle of the night when the vehicle is not being used. Already have a flat battery...not cool. These are new pre installed lights complete. Why do they just turn on at random? Is there a reset switch? How to fix this problem. Thank you brother 🙏

    Is there a way to determine the size ring you'll need for your headlight? The factory headlights on my car have two different size circles in the housing

    What size did you use for the halos? I got 80mm for the 2014 genny but I’m worried if it’s too small.

    • @flyryde
      @flyryde  6 лет назад +2

      80mm are perfect for the front face of the shrouds on your genesis. I’ll for sure show a video about adding the Demon Eyes to the same year headlights soon 👍

      We do! Just can’t do nearly as many as were asked to do. I try to bring on jobs that’d make good content to mix in with my GTR work. What kind of car?

    • @artcore9886
      @artcore9886 6 лет назад +1

      2008 Infiniti M35. I'm want the custom setup (3"-6"-6" switchback) like you guys did with the profile pivot switchbacks to run along to top curves of my headlights. There is no aftermark stuff for M35, not just lighting but even in bodywork.

  • @ChosenPacman
    @ChosenPacman 6 лет назад +1

    When you reseal the headlights, these halos with its wiring will be fine sitting in the oven correct?

    • @flyryde
      @flyryde  6 лет назад

      Correct. Keep in mind, headlights have hot components inside, so a few minutes in similar heat isn't anything to worry about. The LED parts have to be designed to withstand that environment, so the halos are good to go.

  • @northwiebesick7136

    So... is it only projection lights that can use halo eyes??? I have the old style lights on a 2004 buick regal.

    • @flyryde
      @flyryde  5 лет назад

      about 15 years ago i was making angel eyes for anything I could get my hands on. That included lots of cars that didn't have projectors. It was back then, and continues to be the case now, a kinda bad idea to force the look in a housing that doesn't really accommodate the shape. I see all kinds of hack jobs though, and if the owner likes it, it doesn't really matter what I think ;)

    • @northwiebesick7136
      @northwiebesick7136 5 лет назад

      Ah... on a similar note... ive been watching your videos on LED Daytime Running Lights, and I've been thinking about getting a 2011 ford fusion, and found that the default lights don't seem to include the LED running lights... i did however, see a replacement/aftermarket light housing with LED DRL(brand or model name was spyder i think) and saw somewhere that aftermarket headlights are a big NoNo... what are your thoughts??? As well as the question, whether an aftermarket headlight housing would have drop in LED board supprt???(by support, I mean are they made for aftermarket lights)

  • @MrDaavee
    @MrDaavee 6 лет назад +1

    Hey Chris. How come you install the ring with the harness on the bottom of the projector shroud? When i do the genesis lights, I put the harness to the top.. Just curious if you know something i don't lol

    • @flyryde
      @flyryde  6 лет назад +2

      Yeah don’t do that lol! If you look at the very edge, I have more of a hole cut out here than it really needed. That’s because I showed how to do it using regular tools everyone has access to. You don’t want to have any evidence of holes and wires visible ever. I’ve seen a ton of hack jobs with big ass holes, even in high end builds. Hide the evidence my dudes 👌

    • @MrDaavee
      @MrDaavee 6 лет назад

      FlyRyde lol okay. Thought I was missing something after doing a few hundred of those lights lol. I know about the hack jobs you talk about. Seen many myself lol

    OMG! I've been wanting to do Angel eyes on my evo 8 for some time now, you know 3 of those halos per each headlight, but I'm kinda scared of opening them up and break them, plus the cover looks foggy. Can maybe opening them up and maybe sanding them or something help to clear and clean them up? Love the vids btw 👍

    • @flyryde
      @flyryde  6 лет назад

      Glad you like em! You can’t really “unfog” the inside of lights. It’s more of an ego thing when builders tell you that they can. If you can buff out the outside and reclear it like Dustin Williams had done, that’ll help a lot to see how bad the inside of the lens is.
      Sucks, but the only way to get perfect lenses is new lights. All those halos, will REALLY show the imperfections in the lens, so keep that in mind 👍

    • @abisaelfelix7394
      @abisaelfelix7394 6 лет назад +1

      FlyRyde Yeah I saw Dustin's and dang they look amazing, I was kinda thinking about doing the same but not the demons eyes, i wanted the halos. But my problem right now is that the headlight cover thing looks, I said Foggy but it looks like if it was all scratched up. But it looks both on the inside and on the outside. Don't know if I can clear that up or maybe I have to buy new pair. Thanks for the advice btw! 😁👍

    • @flyryde
      @flyryde  6 лет назад

      Yeah that's the prob with old lights. Especially when there's no aftermarket options for the Evo 8/9 headlights :(

    Why does every video I've watched on here require you to make your own mods to house them? I just got them for my WRX and find it a little ridiculous that there aren't any kind of mounts that come with them for as much money as they cost...

  • @sky360aerialmedia
    @sky360aerialmedia 8 месяцев назад

    There's not a person on the internet that shows how to install the controller or how to remove the shroud. If someone doesn't know how to mount these lights, they sure as hell don't know how to mount the controllers or remove the shroud.

  • @saby8765
    @saby8765 3 года назад

    Nice vid, mounting the halo on a concave surface is always a little difgicult. I know dome people use bondo or even use epoxy, but then if you have to remove or reolace the halos, it's gonna be a bitch
