Now that’s what you call skilled workmanship very satisfying to watch Ricky
If there are any foreign viewers watching, yes we do all drink tea all the time.
Here in Australia we supplement tea with beer, it makes a shit day just a little more bearable until the next day when you go back over the butchering you did the day before when the beer kicked in but this time you hit it before it does 😂😂😂
Slovakia 🇸🇰
Tea makes everything better. Fact.
Yes, All the way from South Africa this is pretty satisfying how he fixing cars
Nice to see some genuine diagnostics and not just throwing parts at a car in the hope of fixing it. Excellent content as always.
SOOOO good to see true craftman working. Nothing beats knowledge and forward thinking. SUPER!
Haha banter was legit and on point!
There is me laughing over finding egg cartons and newspaper covered by two tick filler - in classic car sills - then Rick finds wood screws holding lambo trim panels on 😆 Car bodges are crazy.
"Greeeat successsss." velly niiice.
Man I love how your mind works in simplifying the task by logic.
But knowledge provides the logic.
That's proper intelligence lad!
This is the kind of video i like to see, im a technician myself and like to see the different ways people attack problem/diagnostic jobs. I find it so satisfying when you get to the bottom of the jobs that others haven't solved. I watch all your videos but it was the technical videos that drew me in and made me a subscriber a couple of years ago. Great comtent, keep it up boys, kate too! 👊
Thank you for sticking with us. Appreciate the sub. Glad you’re enjoying the content.
Absolute master at work..
Absolute genius well done
This is why Ricky and RePerformance is the only place to take your motor! Absolute legends!
Highly entertaining and enjoyable diagnostics.....best video so far! 10/10
Really enjoyed that, a first class tutorial on how to trace and fix. Looking forward to see more content like this.
These are the videos that will build and build your subscribers. So much better than what you were putting out a few weeks ago. Tip top tech...nice one Ricky, old school...satisfaction of your fix is clearly evident. I love those crimp/seal. Not used anything else for years 😊
It's definitely not just you - I bought a 2 year old Golf and spent about £50 replacing missing clips, screws and trim pieces. I can't understand how some people are allowed to work on cars...
wait till you find a wood screw holding the cam cover or inlet on
Well done Ricky, that was a complete demonstration of a professional job diagnosing and repairing a car that no one else was able to do. And your comment about licensing motor technicians is valid when I think about it. Although I've worked as a mobile mechanic back in the 80's and 90's without formal training, I never had a car come back to me because I did it wrong, or should I say unsafely. I prided myself in doing any job I took on properly, or not at all. I love your videos, you make me laugh every time somewhere along the way. Were I to have a supercar, and the money to run it and have it properly serviced I'd use your company to do it. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my what would be my pride and joy.
Shows why hooking to the ECM first thing is best.
You’re the man Ricky. (Part of me wanted Carl to come riding up on his horse and offer the fix)
What a pleasure to watch someone who actually knows what he's doing! Rick you are a master! Wish I lived nearer to you 🎉🎉🎉
Love watching you guys, it's such a shame that there are so called techs out there causing these problems, totally get the comparison with a technician and a surgeon.
Just one thing Ricky, put some wing covers on the car, standards, standards..🤣
How are the bike repairs going?
Thanks for answering my questions Ricky, I don't really understand why you wouldn't prep a car so wing covers can be used and save a car's paintwork after all even the likes of the famous Ian Tyrrell uses them on all his exotic cars of which some are VERY rare expensive cars..
Sorry but you can see metal studs in your jeans.
Never mind it's your policy.
Brilliant Ricky. If I bought a newer model I would only do so if you promise to maintain it.
I own a high performance car of another brand. I worry because when it’s so new, prospective purchasers will expect a full history of dealer stamps. I have the car serviced over and above dealer services and yet I worry if they really know how to repair anything. So often you hear stories where many expensive units are replaced when most arnt required. Worrying owning a newish car. Well done. You deserve to celebrate.
Fixed on the driveway - Armstrong style! Joking aside, loved this one - great vid to end a guff week.
2 million subs here we come! 😂
Thanks again for another video lads
When you tested the 12v feed to the injectors on both banks, I said crankshaft sensor for both banks not to be firing.
Didn't seem that difficult to find the issue to be honest, makes you wonder who's attempted a repair before!
Awesome diagnosis and awesome work!!
Very satisfying to what you diagnose and sort the problem Ricky. Mint keep up the great vids
Your No1 Rikki that's all over and out cheers m8.
What a fantastic video! Easily my favourite kind of content. I love the in depth stuff.
Getting expensive cars fixed on the cheap is something I cannot get my head around.......
As other comments have said, THIS is by some measure, my favourite! Nice work Ricardo....... and team!
Give yourself a pat on the back in recognition of your awesomeness. 😁
Just don't use that brickys club hammer whilst doing so
Bloody well done. You are EXCELLENT. 🙋♂️
Thank you
I really enjoyed seeing your thought process to diagnose this problem. Great video.
It’s was LOGICAL LOGIC what he did.
as I was saying to Ricky ITS THE CRANK SENSOR, before Ricky diagnosed it, MAT Armstrong said the Same, as Mats went on the way to Monaco. 🇲🇨 in his Lamborghini Galardo terrific Video Re performance when he found it jumped in the Air as Rick did.
Ferrari Timing was Bonkers what this one……..☝️
Brilliant vid great to see your methods behind fault finding
Nicely done.
Thanks!
This is the best video you have done so far good job 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching
Process off elimination great work fualt finding at its it's finest 👍👍
Fualt is the culprit. In the comments section with a lead pipe.
Loved the content. Your diagnostic skills are brilliant.
Thank you very much!
Well done Ricky,
Methodical logical elimination narrowing down the possible suspects....love it.
When I was a kid I worked with an old sparky who was shit hot a fault finding/ problem solving....I learned so much about applying logical thought process...stayed with me forever.
Steve.
Absolutely right mechanics should be licensed.
In the content that followed this episode Ricky answered questions about how he would charge the owner, and various other scenarios where he he had to make pricing decisions which were fair to customer and contained good business decisions.
It got me thinking that his business acumen is equal to his technical skill and integrity.
We need a multibrand hub run, or a least advised by him, where his all round standards are applied.
It could be an incredible crown funded business with very many happy customers. But where we find the talented techs.? So he needs to start a training hub first.
He really is a truely amazing spannerer. FBS. Thanks Ricky and Co.
My favourite video. Well done Rick.
This is the only bit of working on cars I still enjoy, finding the faults the other places couldn't
I guess you were taught
B A L E R T .
Bring together evidence and analyse evidence the most important steps.
Keep up the good work.
Paul @ Pinnacle
"Kate, you alright with that?"😂😂😂😂😂
Feedback - mate iv been watching your channel for a while now and for me this is the perfect format - you are a smart dude and the step by step dignostics is amazing - well done
Amazing to see your logic around troubleshooting. Equally worrying that other businesses find this a challenge. I think I may need to bring my Gallardo to you in future :D
Loving the difference in content last few videos.
How do people have cars like this and not look after them, such a shame.
People have them but don't like spending money so try and cut corners
Great vid showing methodical troubleshooting steps Ricky, can apply to most problems
Just wondered as it was electrical if you had plugged into the Ecu earlier, would it have picked up the cam sensor?
Yes it would have shown up the crank sensor electrical malfunction…I was trying to do AS MUCH as I could with diagnostics as not everyone has that luxury at home…especially on these older Gallardos!
As a Doctor, who also works on project cars, I can only 100% agree with you regarding quality workmanship, and mechanical things being able to kill many people. My day job it’s just one persons pulse to keep going at a time, and even then some are already goners
This was brilliant Ricky well done mate
Ive been binge watching your videos. In the market for a Gallardo.. I'm leaning on the LP, but will grab a pre-LP for the right price/history.
Brilliant fix as expected
If you get stuck, give Matt Armstrong a call
Bravo sir ! 👊🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Brilliant video, full of innuendos, just top class work. You are a rare commodity 😊
FBS ! great diag, posh fix on old lambo, you know the tea was critical .... next time put a link to the brand in the description.. discount code FBS10% maybe..... love your content ... More Noble !
Loved this video, watching you work through it was very interesting to me,
Surprised to see how some people bodge a Lamborghini.
Keep up the great videos.
Man’s a genius, enjoyed that one mate 👌
My money was on CAS as soon as said fuel pump purged and nothing followed.
Like you say you'd have to be very unlucky for all your injectors, coils and both ECU to fail at the same time.
Great video and good to show these suoercars are no different to any other car in how they work. Just more expensive.
My favourite sensor 🙄… edit ermm take that back 😂
Gallardo trend setter you mate! 😂
That owner has had a result top work as always
Great video, if I had known of you 4 years ago I would not have sold my V8 Rs4 as it was the dealership just taking the Michael. If knew an independent like yourself did such great work I would still be driving it now.
Running older cars becomes much more enjoyable when you’ve got a proper specialist to maintain them. 👌
Impressive.... " You're the Man "😉
Ricky earned a Green's Keeper Wullie impression i reckon
Thiught it would be crank or cam.
The pink crimp rattled down onto the undertray i think.
Somethigndropped and then the vidya cut .
We get cars in all the time with the same issues! Like you say, leave it alone unless you do the job right. Amount of shite we see and have to put right is depressing!
Good work pal !
It has a picture of the Queen in it Sir
Good job
Top work Ricky, some people shouldn’t be allowed near the tools and skill/experience shows. 👍
There’s no denying, that was impressive
K swap the world Carl.. Nice purchase sir... and this content is gold ❤
We need a extra video now...
How to get a screw out the side cover of a bodged up lambo..😂😂
Awsome content
Great to see the prose of elimination done correctly nice one Rick 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice one 👌enjoyed
Nice job
Thanks!
Why don't you use covers as lots of people leaning on body work otherwise brilliant channel
We do use lots of covers and plastic protection but on a filthy car the worse thing you can do is use a cover as that will do way more damage than what I could…..
"how come he charges so much money for his work"?.......... NO he does the work correctly and that will cost you. Smashing video gentlemen thank you.
Absolutely this 💯 you’re paying for the years of hard work and graft to get to the level of expertise. Thank you.
@@REPerformanceUK NOT AT ALL my pleasure....... it triggers me no end the number of "people" who have no idea of the value of someone's time/knowladge.
Tha nows we dant talk like that up north mate, lolol 😂
😂😂
Why shouldn’t solder be used?
I’m amazed that people who are being paid to work on Lambo’s wouldn’t have checked the crank sensor, I’d have gone there from my old Vauxhall GSI days, they used to burn through crank sensors and air flow meters lol I generally work on my own cars (I’m an electrician/engineer) because I don’t trust the idiots who claim to be good at working on cars. Had no end of issues with cars coming back from supposedly reputable garages.
Great stuff, well done fella, thanks for another fab’ video. Hi Kate.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hi 👋
The Italian job 😂
Ricky is the GOAT
Awesome, I know you hate Porsches, but you can be forgiven for that, your knowledge is outstanding 👊
I don’t hate all Porsche’s…..just the ones where the engine is in the wrong place! 😂
I was saying to myself the crank sensor before you said it was a crank sensor because of that Armstrong bloke Crank sensor 😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahahah Mat said that to me too! Lol
As you said so many times before BELLENDS HALFORDS MECHANICS AT THERE BEST.
So sorry for there owners and there Cars, and a trail off Toot left behind, for you to Repair Ricky.
Satisfaction for your New Clients all better for you.
Great Channel your Humble approach off Fixing Broken S’s….
Finger in spark plug cap time!!!!!!!!!
Bring on the black jesus bull
So funny, great vid..😂
Glad you enjoyed
Wow… nice work!
Top lad!
DIY = Don't Involve Yourself
Need you in the States brother
Your good 😊 on your request
Top bloke
Awesome episode!
As a long time American viewer though I can’t stand it - what the f* is a “devlar” 😑
Hahaha he’s the man behind the camera “Davlar” Davy
Top tip for Kate... on a laptop, in the Description scroll to the bottom and press 'Show transcript' then Ctrl+F and search for 'Kate'. Sorry Ricky!
Hahaha I was stood there when he said it 😅
Very clever work my friend but we need to see more of Kate on the channel afterall we r all simple men here.. 👍👍🤣
Car GOD
Very good at what you do..😊
