Brandon Paak Anderson, known professionally as Anderson .Paak is a famous American drummer, record producer, singer and rapper. He is presently worth $4 million and has worked closely with stars like Q-Tip, J. Cole, Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar. Despite being a multiple Grammy awards-winner, the rapper had a rough childhood and thus, most of his songs are about his family and his days as a youngling. Sit tight and get ready to meet his family members!
Brandon can be said to have gotten a share of his good looks from his father, Ronald. However, Ronald was allegedly abusive towards his wife, Brenda. Ronald’s twin brother, Donald, often took the blame for his crimes and is said to have had a warm heart. Fortunately, people’s evil deeds always catch up with them and after Brenda divorced Ronald, the latter was arrested and later died in 2011, aged 60.
Brenda, Brandon’s mother, was an entirely different character. She was a half-caste daughter of an American man and a South Korean woman (we bet you didn’t see that coming!) Brenda had two children, boy and girl with Ronald. After the divorce, she got married to Dennis Willingham. Being a church vocalist, Dennis greatly impacted Brandon’s career choice. Brenda was so business-inclined and, with her husband, founded a strawberry business. However, no sooner had they made a fortune from the enterprise than it closed down.
Paak has a total of (guess it…) eight siblings! However, very little is known about them as they keep low profiles.
All we know is that the musician has two older half-sisters - Roni and Camille - from Brenda’s earlier marriage; and an additional blood sister, Fielding.
His father, Ronald also sired five kids before marrying Brenda. Therefore, the rapper has paternal half-siblings named Ronald Paak Jr., Darius Jones, Delvia Walker, September and Sherry Mayfield-Butts.
Anderson was able to find a getaway from all the craze in the arms of his now wife Jae Lin. She is a South Korean who first met Anderson while studying music in college. The duo got married in 2011 and gave birth to a son, in the same year. It has not been all roses for them though. Earlier in their marriage, Anderson lost his job, leaving the family homeless. However, shortly after, he got a gig as a videographer and writer; and things turned around for the better. In 2017, the couple welcomed their second child. Before getting married to her, Anderson had been previously married. However, the marriage lasted just two years and was childless.
Paak’s first son, Soul, has made several sensational appearances in the entertainment industry. Rumors have it that the 11-year old will star in K-POPS, a Korean comedy-drama. We honestly can’t wait!
Soul’s younger brother, Son, is more tucked away in obscurity. Born 2018, everyone hopes to see this chap take after his father.
