- I made this video on February 19th, 2020. I never thought that Draymond Green was a "Superstar" or "All Time Great". He's a decent player but greatly benefits from playing with other NBA Superstars such as Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and Klay Thompson. Try to put him on his own team where he has to lead and he gets exposed.

I kinda said the said thing but came to realize that the warriors probably wouldn’t have won any rings without his vocal leadership, defensive versatility, and playmaking. If you wanna be honest he is the teams best playmaker not steph. Steph is the best ball handler but not the best playmaker. Draymond will give you playmaking, hustle and toughness without having to score the ball. Dennis Rodman gave you defensive versatility and rebounding without scoring and he’s a HOF. The game is really a bigger picture than just scoring.
He does nothing special it's the Warriors system. Donkey gets drafted by the hornets we never hear of him
@@yaboycurtis1103 it’s not about if he does anything special, but the system does play a part. Every player doesn’t fit into any system like Westbrook this past season with the Lakers was a horrible system to put him in with their roster.

draymond has 4 rings, DPOY & is one of the best defensive players ever. he has one of the best IQ in the game. his role was never to score & yet he still contributes a lot, check his +/-. draymond is a playmaker & defensive machine he doesn’t need to score to be great. he does all the little things that are never put on a stat sheet. he can guard all 5 positions at what 6’8 6’9? like to call draymond “overrated” means either you a hater or you don’t watch basketball at all nor understand the game of basketball. draymond green without a doubt is a hall of famer.

Making your opponents score 3 less points has the same impact as you scoring 3 points. My grandma can watch Steph shoot 3 threes in a quarter and says he's amazing. Only real Hooper see how Draymond grabs the board and sprints to the other end before the defense is set and gets his teammates an easy basket, time his help perfectly so opponents don't know what to do when they drive to the paint, sees through opponents skims and gets into the perfect position so opponents can't run their sets and end up jacking up a bad three
Good point. I wish I do have a teammate like draymond cause I'm an off ball player too running around the court like curry but the problem is nobody passes the ball and it sucks cause you have nothing to do but run around and no one passes me the ball when I'm wide.

Because he doesn't deserve a single all star appearance and he has 4 due to fan vote and bandwagon kid warrior fans.
Draymond's offense is barely serviceable at times--I'll give you that. However, he's not a bum. He's not even a bench player on most teams. His impact on the overall defense is pretty profound. His numbers have been fairly consistent over his career--he's a guy that will give you 8+ points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. That's a good thing, because his assists usually get the bench players involved in the offense.
If you're actually watching the game you'll understand why they've not traded him and why they continue to give him the bag. He will retire a hall of famer. His impact on the team has changed the culture and is arguably partially to blame for at least 2/4 of their championships. GSW's great defense has a lot to do with Draymond--he's mentoring a lot of the guys on that team to improve their on and off ball defense.
Draymond is one of the best defenders in the game's history. If he didn't get that technical that ejected him for a few games back when GSW lost to the cavs, they would have likely been able to clinch at least one game to close out that series. Damn they lost 3 in a row after he got ejected.
Also, KD played himself, because after he left, they won again and KD has yet to even make a deep playoffs run since. He's proven to be toxic to management and lacks leadership. His faith in Kyrie makes me question his judgment.
All this Draymond hate is unfounded, because when you watch the footage, that man's impact on the game is profound. KD is great, but his leaving has a lot to do with himself--they offered KD a max contract while he was injured and he still walked... at that point there was nothing short of the team topping him that they could have done to keep him. Brooklyn gave KD the keys to the car, so of course he left.
He's off his prime now and GSW is preparing for the next generation to shine. They don't need Draymond/Curry/Klay dropping 80 combined anymore. Their future success depends on that level of scoring coming from the younger guys. His career has progressed gracefully. I wouldn't be surprised if GSW ends up retiring Curry, Klay and Draymond's jerseys. I'd argue that within the next 3 seasons Curry and Klay's production on the court need to go the way of Draymond and Kuminga, Poole, Looney, Wiseman need to step up to the plate.

Did u watch the games cuz Iggy brought the ball up. Steph and klay are better off ball so they can catch and shoot. It would only make sense for him to facilitate. You seem to.have forgotten game 1 and 6 against Toronto where the difference in the game was the DPOY getting is ass bust by a G league call up
