I really appreciate that you still posted, again it makes you real, I don’t need a fake video on perfection we can’t actually achieve.
It was great to see how to “save” your makeup during and after the hot flash, all part of the tutorial.
I think what made the most impact truly was the sunscreen! The part of the video after the sunscreen was blended in and set had your skin looking flawless.
I wish I could get the elta md 44 in Canada to give it a try!

Connie Karahotzitis I am also in Canada and just checked for the Elta sunscreen and it is not available. I am heading to Florida 8n October and have a list of things I want to try...

Have you heard of DRMTLGY sunscreen? They have several dupes for Elta MD that some people like more. Check out Dr Dray on RUclips- she has several videos on them.

Seems dr dray found a dupe for the chemical elta md clear, or maybe I just didn’t find the right video to dupe the spf 44 mineral

I love that you kept this video and put it up. It is good for those of us who have yet to go through menopause, but I'm very close! I love the makeup I love the fact that you tell me exactly what you're putting on. You are inspirational please keep up the good work and thank you

Michele Erdman I can’t tell because I had an ablation so there’s no obvious “sign”, however, I’ve been waking up sweating like crazy and can’t get back to sleep - it sucks. Have you looked into HRT? If so has anything worked for you? Thanks

Great tip on applying under eye concealer for us older women. I paused the video and ran to my makeup to try it, and I was really pleased with how it worked! I have some permanent bags under there too so I basically ignored those and concentrated on the inner area and also added a bit to the outer edge of my eyes where I have permanent discoloration. Very natural looking. Thanks Angie.

love the comments below. I'm 63, am not obsessed with my appearance but me and my sis are sort of lucky -- she's been making fun of me because one way I procrastinate occasionally is to watch makeup tutorials and do nothing about them until I talked her into watching your channel and she was transfixed; totally real honest and utterly loveable, not to mention beautiful no matter what state you're in. An absolute inspiration.

      Yes, Angie is terrific!!!!
You might also consider following "Tammy's Ageless Beauty". She's great too! They're my 2 favorite 50+ beauty gurus. I also get a lot of good info from Elle Leary. She's younger, but as a professional esthetician & makeup artist, she gives recommendations to all age groups. Both Tammy & Elle, are just as real, & down to earth, as Angie is. I think you'd like them a lot.

I could tell you were struggling with your words right before the flash hit. That happens to me too!! I loose my words and it is so frustrating. I can describe the word to you, tell you what it does, where it is at but the actual word is poof gone. I think your skin still looks amazing after the flash. Thank you for the peek into how you are handling these moments. Sharing our secrets of how we cope with makeup, family, health etc...is how we get thru. So glad you mentioned that you’ve been forgetting mascara lately. Me too! And I’m not even having menopause issues. I’ve now thrown one in my purse for times when I discover that I’m without mascara when I’m out and about. Thanks for keeping it real!

I love watching you put on your make-up! Whenever I use eyeshadow, liner, setting powder and highlighting I just end up looking overdone, but you look absolutely gorgeous! All I wear is a moisturizer with sunscreen, foundation, blush, under eye concealer, a brow pencil, mascara and a lip liner with lipstick. And I feel like it takes me forever to do just that! Lol. I wish you could do my make-up just once! 😊

Great video Angie. I too am 56-post menopausal and have had terrible trouble sleeping through the night. I been following your skin care routine and have seen great results. I use sunscreen everyday, even if I'm indoors ( I have a history of skin cancer- thank you 1970's !) and as a result I have low vitamin D levels. Sunscreen blocks not only the harmful rays of the sun, but our ability to absorb vitamin D-I had never thought of that. My doctor recommended supplements. I only started to notice a difference when I started using Liquid Vitamin D drops-1000 IU per drop and I take 2 drops along with 2 TUMS containing 1000mg of calcium carbonate to get the proper amount of calcium each day. I sleep through the night consistently. I believe this has made a huge difference- I hope you try this and are able to sleep well again.

Angie - for hot flashes I have had tremendous success with taking Neurontin (generic is gabapentin). I read somewhere that it might help, asked my doctor, and she hadn’t heard of that but said it wouldn’t be harmful to try. I do not use HRT and never have but it’s amazing how well this prescription completely keeps those hot flashes away. I do notice them if I ever forget to take it. I’ve been on that for about 5 years now and have had no problems.

Glad you posted this video! You have to give your body time to get back to where you were before stoped HRT. I guess that’s why I don’t ever plan on going off of my HRT. I have been watching Menopause Taylor and she gives great descriptions on what is going on in the body. I live in south Texas so we have passed the 90 degrees mark already so summer has arrived! Lightweight makeup is a must! Thanks 🙏

Thanks for the example in proper amount of sunscreen, the Revlon primer and "cheek filling" tutorial! : ) And you did all that with out Mascara! Wonder Woman!
I wanted to bring up the subject of the NuFace device, at this time in the midst of this "cheek filling" conversation during the Nordstrom Sale. I feel using the device has made my cheeks appear fuller. It does add volume or maybe it is lift? The toning of the NuFace and then subsidizing that benefit with a highlighter, BAM double whammy on my cheek filling. It was through watching your content that helped make my decision to buy it. NuFace has been the best NAS item I have snagged thus far-about the price of two salon facial services. It truly is the best price I saw for two years of shopping. If anyone is on the fence, jump off and grab it! ~ grab some highlighter too! ; )

@@sweetpeace5 Really glad you did. To be honest when I first got it, I thought gimmick too-not too long after, my improved reflection proved otherwise. : ) As for price, my now replaced salon services ran $85 -$125 then a substantial tip. So per cost for use, I couldn't afford not to buy it! : ) Fret not, wise decision! Be well my friend-B

Thank you, Angie for emphasizing using SPF in the right amounts. From driving to work every day for years, I had dark spots at the left side of the face that I didn’t notice until too late. I have starting using SPF and - bonus - no new age spots have formed and existing ones are fading.
PS I am retired now and golfing 4 days a week!

I love this and can totally relate, having gone through menopause and being on bioidentical hormones. But I, too, have "product overload" from so much stuff; I don't have the patience. If you ever do a video on minimal makeup for a natural look, I'd love to see it! I use tinted sunscreen, concealor, a mineral powder foundation, mascara, blush and lipstick and that's usually it.
