That sound, Berlin School forever. And that synth pop part is timely, my girlfriend and I were out cruising the countryside today and listening to Tubeway Army Replicas album on the car stereo.
Really love the stuff you're doing. I'm getting into module synthesis now. It's cool stepping out of the box. I'm doing midi and wires. You're an inspiration bro. Keep these videos coming. Awesome 👍
Very nice demonstration! I have owned MINIMOD VCO and I found my self patching it together with another single oscillator to create complex bass sound. So I sold both to buy one complex oscillator. I decided to buy Cs-L. But I have to say I'm unable to get it to sound that raw, fat and tight as MINIMOD VCO did. I miss it. It was great oscillator. I will probably buy it again in future. And probably three of them!
Thank you. Contrary to what some people would claim, the sound of analogue oscillators can differ significantly - saw-core compared to triangle core, discrete vs chip-based etc. The components and production costs vary a lot too, the MiniMod being a vintage-voiced example (discrete, directly based on the Minimoog VCO). I've owned a few over the years and they've all been distinctly different in character. A couple were pretty cool for different reasons, but the MiniMod is easily my favourite, it nails that warm, vintage character of the 70's electronica I mostly listen to.
Great video I actually liked most with the single osc at the beginning Maybe just what the ARP melody was doing at the time had the old school sound... great video.. what verb are you using please?
great demo! Although I don't have the $$$$ right away to get the whole system, I'mthinking about starting with the tonestar 2500 would those vcos play nice together?

Nice choice of driving music. I've had Telekon and Living Ornaments playing in the car before.
I really enjoy your videos. It's always a joy to receive a notification of a new piece.
+1:-)

The verb in the video was EOS2 on an iPad.
