AJH Synth - Finaliser R-EQ

- Oh Allan you're a beast of a synth designer and we love you for it (just day dreaming about the Mega-Phase 12, MiniMod series and new Gemini 2412). Allan at AJH has brought a new way to "finalise" your modular patches with this lovely little mono four band parametric EQ, hi and low exciter/finaliser and mono or stereo in to stereo out reverb. Yes it's basic in terms of CV (you can modulate reverb level only) but the EQ sounds amazing, the excitement does too, it clips nicely it you want to drive things and the splash of depth and colour is lovely on this modulated and "classic" digital sounding verb. This module has found it's way into adding that final shape and 3D depth to my patches and modular mixes since it came into the case. Stellar work from AJH (as expected).

Losing the enchancer and EQ on the right channel is a deal breaker. When euro is so full of stereo modules now, it's really hard to call this a "finaliser"

I'd have to go through and make some measurements, but not had issues with noise.
@@DivKid What's your opinion about Eurorack noise floor overall? Does it really worth comparing to 500 series modules? Is it really "pro" audio when it comes to compressors, EQs and effect processors?
Hi Mano, it's wide ranging a bit like the pedal format which has some great more high end gear and some cheap and cheerful pieces too. Are you just wanting to build a studio processing rig? If you go modular, do it for the creative FX and modulation capabilities.

I'm assuming the reverb is digital right? Thought I'd better check though since most of their modules are almost puritan-like analogue!
Dan Dorje digital, you can’t do reverb like this in analog.

What about the rest I wonder? Is the whole unit digital? The way the EQ overdrives I'm assuming that must be analogue.
If it's digital reverb, I do wonder why the options are so limited - particularly on the delay mode.
Not sure I could justify one of these over processing in my DAW, unless I had some money to burn. It sounds great but not convinced I'd be gaining much (if anything) over finalising in my DAW. I know some people work without a DAW and just used a huge modular set up and it could be very useful in that kind of scenario I guess - I'm just not rich enough to do that! ;-)
it's an old digital reverb a bit like (but not this specifically) those old Alesis Pico verbs etc that were on loads of classic electronic tracks. The EQ and enhancer is all analogue.

I did get early version, production is underway now. I actually spoke to Allan on the phone early to ask about him coming on a future Modular Podcast video show. He said he needs to update the website and production is all underway.

Was interested and watching until you mentioned the EQ and enhancer was mono. What an absolute waste of an idea.
