so....... obviously you already built it, and this advice would have helped you a tone more before you built it. But a rule I follow when building self assembly so I don't do something wrong and then wind up having to backtrack, take apart, ect..... is build in the middle of the room the product is going in, then position myself looking at the desk from the same perspective as the picture. Hope this helps save you some time on future endeavors with such projects.
I'm gonna be getting the gray version of this desk on Monday (I saw this after I bought it), so hopefully it goes well (these Chinese products can very quite a bit in quality, so maybe I'll get lucky with this one)! Also, I'm loving that blue iMac!

@@zmike RIP poorly designed item :/
very accurate review, and I concur.
I'm stuck on step 8.
Appreciate your insight. You saved me a headache.
It took me 6 hours, 137 cuss words, 2 blood pressure pills, 10 pounding of my fist on the wall, and 3 shots of bourbon 🥃 to get this done.
The actual worst instructions ever. Hahah

Did you get lucky?
Which one is this? Or at least what brand?
Thank you
