Alive on Demand is a dementia-friendly video-streaming platform designed by and for older people. Created to bridge the gap between technology and face-to-face engagement, Alive have created this service to help Activity and Care staff create meaningful engagements with the people they support and relieve some of the stress of planning activities. Alive on Demand can really help improve CQC ratings, proving that you use person-centred care and listen to your residents' wants and needs.
With additional resources, including quizzes and crafts, the content is designed to spark conversation and evoke memories. Video categories include Guided Reminiscence, Guided Tours, Music and Art Appreciation, Storytelling and Poetry, Seated Exercise and Dance and many more.
