Good collection of points. One thing I would like to mention is that one point which is not usually stressed upon when analysing Quant, but which I understand is the core which drives their buy / sell decisions is their almost purely quantitave based VLRT framework which analyses market and gives output of buy / sell. I understand when we say momentum based style, that momentum is solidly governed by this framework decision in case of Quant. For same reason, fund managers roles are limited as rather their framework gives decision signals, it is not as simple as person based judgement call and so also their high portfolio churn is based upon. So it's largely purely analytical approach they have devised unlike other fund houses. So it gets misunderstood by many, but as can be seen it's backed by solid foundation of their investment machine logic which drives their decisions.
Sir please compare Parag parikh flexi cap fund & Axis Nifty 500 index fund.The benchmark of both the funds are same.Will it be okay to invest in both the funds or should we invest in only one of them?
You can invest online through their website by opting for direct option. Investing through a broker or through demat account will cost you more in terms of expense ratio.
One should follow their investments in the fund too regularly & book profits quite often to minimize the risk. Even if one had to pay LTCG @12.5 percent still returns are huge .
Quant mutual fund schemes have really struggled to beat the index in last month and their Ranking in their respective categories went down. Maybe this is due to front running allegations. Hope it gets back on track soon! Any thoughts?
Duniya mein kahi bhi STT nahi lagta. Jab STT introduce kiya gaya tha tab record rakhna mushkil hota tha logon k Long Term/ Short Term returns ka. STT introduce kark LTCG hata diya gaya. STT was basically brought in to replace LTCG. par 2018 mein ye inhone STT bhi rakha aur LTCG bhi le aye. Aur ab LTCG bhi bhada rahe hain.

Ab ltcg me indexation nhi milega govt investor ke sath angrej jaisa tax laga diya.... hidden inherent tax laga diya...ek am admi apne income ka 50 percent tax de raha he including GST..suvidha nothing only corruption kar raha he govt.beaurocracy ..dalal milkar...

Be careful while investing in small and midcaps of any fund house. P.E. is over 40. They are very overvalued. Correction is bound to happen.
