We surprisingly clocked up 31 miles during our stay just pottering up and down the prom and along the beach etc. The only time we used the car was to visit the Royal Station. It was a good holiday. Thanks for watching Graeme. All the best, Rob

Good video Rob, for some reason I wouldnt have thought you would have fancied an all singing and dancing static seaside resort, but it looked nice, well kept and lots of facilities there. I was watching your Pier Cottage video the other night as were off to Coniston Park Coppice CMC site in 2 weeks. That pitch you got there was the best ever!!
On the whole Brett we enjoy the quiet life and prefer mid-week breaks. However, for a convenient sea side location you sometimes have to make allowances and we did enjoy our stay at Searles again. Our pitch at Pier Cottage was heaven. Definitely our best ever. Hope you have a great holiday at Park Coppice and thanks for watching. Cheers Rob

Hi Glen, Good choice of site, we loved it here. It’s 2pm arrival so we had a good breakfast and drove straight there without stopping. Looking on Google satellite view, if you’re coming down the A1 and exiting at Newark for the A17 there is a shell services area. Other than that I’m not sure for you. Probably your best option is to look at satellite view at your chosen route for services or lay by depending on your requirements. By the way Searles are the only caravan site to send us a comment on our touring video, a lovely surprise. Hope you have a good time there and all the best, Rob & Gail 😀
Hi Anthony, Yes I’ve noticed the wind noise is very annoying. You don’t realise just how bad it is until you play it back. Definitely looking into one for the iPhone X but the reviews are not that great. Thanks for commenting. All the best. Rob
I get what you’re saying Justin. Our previous holiday here was early June 2018 and it wasn’t as busy as this July. It was fine where we were pitched though, in fact the whole site had low noise levels. We think mid-week is best but bear in mind it will be busy during school holidays. Thanks for watching. Yes a big site Arthur and we wouldn’t choose to stay there at busy times. Our visit was Sunday to Friday during school term time. We had a marvelous holiday and the touring area is quite secluded from the rest of the park. Something to perhaps bear in mind. Thanks for watching and all the best, Rob & Gail 😀
Hi Gary, We’ve just had a look at their website for you. Entertainment for this weekend for adults includes bingo and live acts in the bar. Also interactive entertainment for children too. There wasn’t much happening when we were there mid week during school term time. We didn’t frequent the bar as we have our own in the caravan 😂 . Love searles went for 6 yrs running camping before covid.hoping to go this year.its the best in the country in my opinion.

Love the informative site reviews but could you get a wind guard for your camera to reduce to wind noise ?

Tried one commercial site down near Weston not so sure…. Good facilities but lacked the seclusion of cc sites. Would try another though to see.
