How To Import Non-Player Libraries In Kontakt 7

ARTWORK:
Put images in this folder:
Win: C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources\image
Mac: Users/Shared/NI Resources/image
Make a subdirectory named the same as the folder name in the browser and put an image in there called MST_artwork.png (the png file extension is also important). Then it will show up as an image in the browser.
No need to rescale or resize, Kontakt will do that automatically by cropping the size it needs from the center. The resolution also doesn't matter much, because Kontakt also downscales the image, no matter the actual size in the folder.

Add the library to User Presets in Komplete Kontrol software
tag presets in Komplete Kontrol
remove and re-add to Custom Libraries in Kontakt 7 (otherwise the new tags won't be loaded)

Nice walkthrough! Their site doesn’t explain the Kontakt vs KK differences, or the image file. Then there’s the old third party Kontakt libraries that require batch resave.. I honestly continue to use quick load, even in KK.

I'm going through my entire Omega Bundle library for Kontakt 7 - seems like a good thing to share when it's all setup, since you could just drag a zip full of folders with MST_artwork.png in them. I noticed that Bamblong V2.0 doesn't detect the image (not sure about the naming as-is), and also needed a Batch Re-save.
seen somewhere that it doesn't like the "." take the period out or replace with maybe a underscore. Not positive, Im also here trying to get information, haven't done it myself yet. good luck!
i unistallfrom control panel my oldest version of kontakt 6 and i installed the 7 one. How can take it off from fl studio the kontakt 6 ? and all the sounds???

I dont have that setting buttom, only up left one in menu, so im still confused to upload new librarys not native.
Click the Browser icon next to the Kontakt icon. It's at the bottom right as the SI rep described.
So I am doing all these steps and nothing is showing up? exactly the same steps you are taking. The only difference is I am not seeing 'select folder' I am seeing 'open'? Nothing is showing up inthe files ? I have full Kontakt 7

very similar steps for Mac yep. Included file paths in the description above.
for this to work, there cant be any . or - in the folder names, have to remove those characters in both folders, library folder and image folder names have to match.
As garywilliamson8680 said This is a very important step, I tried everything until I read your post, then I noticed that there were some ....dots, and - - - in the folder name, so I renamed both of the folders and removed the dots and the dashes and it worked, both folders must have the same name so you have to change them both, thanks and God bless.

I've tried this method with other libraries, and it doesn't work still. I've made sure the names of the folder and the names of the library match too...
This isnt working for me. Is there something Im doing wrong or missing? Im navigating to the right folder, creating a naming the folder exactly as it should be, using a PNG inside the folder with correct name and no picture.

File Name for Image must be MST_artwork and the picture should be a png file. Only downloading the image will give you a Webp file. You will need to covert the file type to png inorder for Kontakt to recognize it.

This does not seem to work in the same way on Macs. Different prompts seem to come up. And finally, I could not get it to work.
It works perfectly, as explained, on my MacBook Pro.
Not available in my free version. Typical "Synth-Scene"... no informations nowhere. Only alternative: deleting again and hasta la vista.
I located my content folder and added it but nothing changed. Still "no libraries found here" :(

From my experience, the content folder is not involved in the process. Your Users/Shared/NI Resources/Image chain is all you need which is accessed from your main hard drive.
How to remove library from Library browser? I miss this important part!
You must delete the associated plist file. Refer to YT tutorials on how.
For many, many libraries - does not work this way! Yes the library can be added but not a image!?

When you create the new folder for the png artwork. Name the folder the same as the library folder

About the process to add the visual that work well ! ABout the tags totally not... I think that your didnt show your process in real time about it, because in this video you add the library into the CUSTOM LIBRARIES, and then you say "make sure that it appear in USER librairies on KK, but to achieve this I guess, we should add them in the USER LIBRAIRIES in Kontakt... I tryed to import all my librairies in Kontakt by following your 1st step, and at the end No one appear in KK... Maybe all should be import by the USER LIBRAIRIES way... Its obscure. Anyway thank you for the tips about the visual!
