- El guitarrista estadounidense Bill Frisell, artista clave de la escena del jazz contemporáneo, se presentó en 2017 junto al bajista Tony Scherr y el baterista Kenny Wollesen. El trío interpretó composiciones propias junto a canciones procedentes del jazz, el country, el pop y el rhythm & blues.
El ciclo "Jazz. Visitas internacionales" rememora grandes conciertos realizados en el Centro Cultural Kirchner, con figuras como Bill Frisell, Egberto Gismonti y Barry Harris, entre otras.

Forget Clapton - Bill Frisell Is God
There are no gods... they are all flesh and blood human beings... some play from their hearts (and souls) and others from their pockets... I have admired Clapton so much (that at the time he passed it on to him bad Don Jimi Hendrix in his own house... in his nose...) and of course Don Bill Frisell... From "Rambler"... "Naked City"... Kind regards and don't take it the wrong way my words!!!...
When we hear Bill speak, we understand why he is so wonderful on guitar: his music is a true expression of what he is inside! Love, kindness, tenderness! Impossible not to get emotional!
Probably the greatest living guitarrist, and I don't say that lightly. Julian Lage has a duet with him that is out of this world.
How can you not love Bill Frissell? 😎

Bill and his band play from inside the music. They carry that music around them like a big bubble and then send it out to us listeners (followers!) to wallow in . Bill and his band play with such feeling and emotion and economy and skill you just have to go with it. And what a lovely journey it is

The quality of his tone is so ephemeral- it’s got that angelic clarity you hear in Michael Jackson’s voice. Thankfully these artists are called to express their gifts and we benefit from the healing and just plain joy that Ariosto and listener both experience. Wow!

I think its just ornamental. He uses tremelo on his pedal chain so he gets pitch modulation "free" :)
