Great video. Another micro habit tip which can impact your “smell” is unclean clothing. So make sure your clothes are washed clean with or without a pleasant fragrance because dank, musty smelling clothes will always make you smell not nice.
YES! I know that people don’t want to wash a garment as soon as it’s worn because excessive washing can ruin the garment, but there are things that get on your clothing that will make it smell bad. These tricks will kill any odor-causing bacteria as well as neutralize other odors like stale perfume/cologne. - A trick that I learned from people who work in the theater is to spray down the garment with vodka and let it air dry overnight. - Another trick is to wrap the garment in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer overnight. - If you have a steamer, run a steamer on the garment after wearing it.
@@Jennifer_Lewis_Beach_Livinganother thing that works well is not using fabric softener and using plain white vinegar instead in rinse cycle of washer. This gets rid of any residues that cause clothes funk. Vodka and plain rubbing alcohol lightly spritzed on clothes then hang clothes outside or even inside to air dry freshens them up. The higher the % of alcohol the faster it evaporates. You can also use home dry clean like dryel to freshen clothes up that you don't want to wash too often.
I really love this channel and I´ve taken so many tips. But I have to say, please take time to know your skin type before doing the triple cleanse, and search for the right products... If you have dry, mixed or sensitive skin, washing it so thoroughly might lead to irritation and another issues, and it´s not really necessary in order to be hygienic. Skincare starts with health

Hi Vikita! I’m 65 and love your channel. Your tips here are spot on. I notice so many people who don’t show up looking clean and put together. Hopefully more ladies (and men!) will discover your channel. All the best to you. ❤
Good tips! I only wash my hair once a week but I keep a squeeze bottle of apple cider vinegar to use on my scalp before I shampoo as a clarifier and makes my hair shiny. 😊
As a professional piercer I have some feedback and a tip or two: When you’re in the shower- please wash in and behind your ears with plain old antibacterial soap and water. For those of us with a lot of body and face piercings/dermals, you need to remove Every Single Piece of Jewelry from your body (after it’s healed, obviously) at least once a month. ALL of them 😂 I know it’s a b*tch but that jewelry needs to be cleaned as well as the piercing site.
Regarding the nail scrubbing: i started bringing a sawed of toothbrush with a travelcase with me everywhere. Perfect tiny nailbrush, soft and won't irritate your skin and easy to bring!
What the hek?! You're cleansing 3 times in the shower to smell good?! That's excessive & you are wasting a ton of water. How bad could you possibly smell? Are you eating garlic, onion, & curry everyday-all day or something? Do you smoke cigarettes? If you need to scrub that much to smell fresh consider eating a cleaner diet and drinking plenty of water. That's awful for the skin. That's extremely drying. It's also terrible for your viewers with sensitive skin. Even for people with oily skin, this is a terrible idea. Over-scrubbing can cause over production of oil. Any dermatologist will tell you NOT to do this.
Agreed. Who has time to cleanse 3 times? That’s a waste of product and water. I’m glad shampoo manufacturers stopped putting “lather, rinse, repeat” on their products. Cleansing one time for any body part is enough.
It’s not abrasive or drying if you use the right products, everyone should at least double cleanse - for the same reason you would later, rinse and repeat your hair.
You are a real one for this video!! Thank you for speaking to ALL the face gunk we can get. To my close friends I will say hey, you got a little something...and they know but I hate talking to someone at work for like five minutes and going to the mirror to see I might have some gunk! I wouldn't call waxing a basic. It is painful and expensive and I don't do it. I've done it twice in my life and both times, had tiny red dots all over my legs for a couple of weeks. There's nothing wrong with shaving and tweezing instead.
To add onto her tip about eye boogers… love the idea of carrying around cotton swabs but if you find yourself in a situation with eye boogers and no swabs- you can take a single tissue of toilet paper, roll the corner between your fingers until it becomes long and pointy and then fold over itself (in half). You’ll have a tiny little tissue tip that can get into the corner without ruining your makeup.
Great content! It always surprises me the things women (people) don’t already do to be clean, fresh and put together. I am happy that you approach this topic with kindness. 💫
Another tip is to buy a steamer or hang your blouse near a hot shower for a few minutes to remove the big wrinkles before putting on. Even if it is linen, less wrinkles is definitely more polished looking. There is also a wrinkle remover spray you can buy which some people may like to use if in a hurry before heading to work.
My micro tip for groomed hands: apply thick layer of vaseline every night. Another one is on top of your nailpolish apply a quick dry top coat, it preserves the shine
Well moisturized/hydrated/oiled SKIN. Being ashy, dry & flaky is not only unhealthy but looks like you dont take care of yourself. Incorporate healthy eating habits into your daily routines. Curious as to what you consider old & why you’d think that getting old automatically means you don’t care about grooming and looking & feeling your best.

My Micro grooming habit that I started doing again, (that I did all my life) is putting hairspray on my hair..but the one that I got now smells good, and not neccesarily like Hairspray? And it's one that does not look on your hair like you're wearing any? And that's TIGI Bed Head Maaterpiece hairspray. I feel my hair doesn't get dirty as fast with it on. And it lasts me days, and when I comb it through it doesn't flake? It's a great find, as I have baby fine hair that does not stay in place..
Be careful of over exfoliating in the shower if you have sensitve skin it can get itchy and raw which is why i use a microfiber washcloth which prevents micro-tears (which is why the skin gets itchy and red), i use a different microfiber washcloth for each step, love the rest of it.
The Dr Bronners liquid soap poured into my ears really cleans the ears out from that waxy film that accumulates in the ears they become squeaky clean after you rinse 🚿 it out in the shower

The more you wash your hair, the faster your hair will get dirty. It adjusts! It produces oil to protect itself. If you wash your hair every morning, it will be getting dirty by bedtime. Home economics books from the 1970s recommended washing your hair no less than once every 2 weeks.
please don’t wax your nose hairs - they are there for a reason, that’s the barrier so dirt and stuff dont enter your nose 😅 if you’re really botheted by long nose hairs then just trim them

Don't neglect your ears, make sure the OUTER part of the ear is cleaned with a soft damp cloth and a little soap, cotton buds can be used in the crevices but never inside the ear. Keep piercings clean as they get build up so make sure your piercing holes are checked and that your earrings are clean, those can smell really bad if not maintained and you don't want a lover getting a whiff of smelly ears.

@@МартинаТодорова-к9я "AS I Am" is a brand that produces many products for us curly/wavy gals- they sell online. this is NOT an ad for them- just sharing that I have had more success in taming the frizz with their products. (Depends on the humidity of the day, of course!)
Good to see you again! I’ve missed you!
Yay she’s back🤭
Great video, thank you ❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏 wonderful tips. Any suggestions for compatible moisturiser and foundation? I also prefer my SPF to be in the moisturiser and foundation.
A good tip is to wait a few minutes after moisturizing to start applying your makeup. Make sure the moisturizer gets fully absorbed into your skin.
Love the pop of colour ❤
this is a nice colour on you ✨️
Thanks for sharing I love your approach ❤
I'm glad you liked it 💕
Vickita you should do some work etiquette videos
Truth
The nice thing about sparkly jewlery is that the jewelers usually offer cleaning for free in the hope while you are there you try somethings on while there. Easy and free!
All of these layering of fragrances is very bad for your health... fragrances are so toxic! Candles too!
I missed your videos!
When I get notification from Vickita RUclips Channel Suddenly Graceful smile comes on my face.😀💫💗 We All Love You And You are My Biggest Biggest Inspiration

Very helpful! Thank you! 💞
You're so welcome!
Fragrance and skin !??? with the triple washing it's a recipe for damaged skin barrier you know 😅😅😅😅😅
It’s not for the weak but it works for me 😊
The Dr Bronners liquid soap poured into my ears really cleans the ears out from that waxy film that accumulates in the ears they become squeaky clean after you rinse 🚿 it out in the shower
"Love these tips! Micro grooming is all about the details, and you nailed it. 🌟 So helpful!"
Great practical honest tips 👍
i’m a dancer/ice skater, unfortunately I can’t get rid of my calluses 😔
That’s okay! Different lifestyles come with different habits. 🫶🏽
Dancing and skating adds so much light to your story don’t even worry about it! seriously! You EARNED it
Make sure you’re not diabetic.
“When I was born I was handed a tongue scraper” is such a wild thing to say lol
About the foot… you can use a foot cream every day after showering; it will prevent it from drying
Great vid! Looking put together really comes down to excellent hygiene.
* We brush our tongue in the west.
Thank you for these tips 🫶
& acv half filtered water half acv great to get rid of any buildup and it moisturizes your scalp.
Could you possibly tell us the kind of oils you use on your hands and feet? Would love to know the exact products you recommend. These are just grear videos.. Also need to know which hair oil. Often during the day with the wind and cold at this time of year I notice that my hair gets a bit tangled and dry looking due to wind and cold.
The more you wash your hair, the faster your hair will get dirty. It adjusts! It produces oil to protect itself. If you wash your hair every morning, it will be getting dirty by bedtime. Home economics books from the 1970s recommended washing your hair no less than once every 2 weeks.
please don’t wax your nose hairs - they are there for a reason, that’s the barrier so dirt and stuff dont enter your nose 😅 if you’re really botheted by long nose hairs then just trim them
Hello beautiful angel! I am a new sub and I have been soaking in your content! You and I have a. Very similar face shape and features and I love the timeless romantic style. What type of sunglasses do you wear? I have been struggling to find a pair that fit my narrow face. Any suggestions? I checked your Instagram but no sunglasses 😂
Huge fan ❤❤
wow you are so detail oriented 🤣
I just looked at the thumbnail and subscribed 🤣🤣🤣
Clean silver jewellery with toorhpaste and polishing cloth
No disrespect but you can be on point with every single one of these tips but if you have tattoos, no matter how small and dainty, it just completely undoes all this work. As the saying goes “you don’t put a bumper sticker on a Rolls Royce.” All excellent tips btw.
Any recommendations for a video for men to compliment this?
Thank you Vickita
Omg where is your headboard from? 💕
Please share your lip combo
Mac Spice lip liner & Benefit lip tint ❤️
You should add lip hair and nose hair checks
Thats basic.
@@ebonyeverything2751so are the other things she mentioned though
Hi, can you update your playlists? It'll be easy for people like me who are new to your channel. Lots of love from India❤
Long nails are nice, but not very hygienic, even if you wash hands often and it could be dangerous for health.
Love it! Darn I feel gross!! 😅❤
1 minute and 28 second chance pro tip with nails and hands do a light scrub a little salt maybe a little sugar a little olive oil how about a teaspoon more about the size of a nickel your favorite soap mix that with your hands, and want the oil coconut oil coconut oil actually has the same fiber abilities as our nails take coconut oil and rub it around your hands for a little while let it set and then wash it off with hot water not too hot pat dry you're welcome
19 minutes and 28 seconds in
How long to reply is vinegar will you do is you take a little tile and you damp it with vinegar and you put in your hair lightly and you let it set or dry and then you wash your hair as usual would in the shower with warm water
All I can reply is watching this is making me want to clean even more God bless thank you
Ok do you tongue scrape before or after tooth brushing?
After!
Over washing hair makes hair and scalps dry for wavy and curlies
