      @@EastCoastYachtSales Love to see some pics of the solar installation. I have an twin and understand the wiring can be a challenge. Also unclear where and how the wiring from the actual panel goes… any visual help,appreciated.

      I don’t have these pics handy, but will ask our team to get some for the next solar install.

    Thanks for very clear info of this! I have not an electric toilet on my 2015 my, but the valve for macerator or deck flush is the same I guess.. Haven't picked it up yet but will check once doing so! Cheers.

    Another helpful video...and the several close-ups were especially helpful & well done. Ben, did I miss the location of the macerator pump. I don't see white hoses running forward from the holding tank, which leads me to believe the macerator is buried somewhere in the boat's bowels. As you know, these can be an (especially obnoxious) failure point. Is this perhaps referenced in another of the education videos? If not, then just a comment about its location would be helpful. Thank you once again for these, Ben. Super good stuff.

      the macerator is in the same compartment as the diesel heater. Mounted just outboard. Thanks again for watching these videos!

      @@EastCoastYachtSales Thanks, Ben. Re-watched the video on the Webasto system and, yup, it looks like the macerator pump is pretty squirreled away & inaccessible. Sure will want to make certain the head system is fully winterized!

    Thank you for that lesson. Really helpful and very clear. Great though if you could also do the same for the 37! Thx again!

    Hi Ben, how do you add the pink disinfectant into the system?

    • @EastCoastYachtSales
      @EastCoastYachtSales  2 года назад

      The pink in the water lines and holding tank is all anti-freeze. In the winter in northern climates we run it through all the plumbing to eliminate the water from freezing and cracking pipes. Come spring we flush it out.

      @@EastCoastYachtSales Noted Ben. Does the holding tank need disinfectant at all? If so, how best to do that?

    • @EastCoastYachtSales
      @EastCoastYachtSales  2 года назад

      There is holding tank treatment that you can buy a westmarine, this is not required and I haven’t done it on my Axopar. To add the treatment you simply pour it into the bowl and flush.

    Would a 6' tall not super flexible person fit in that head comfortably with the door shut?
