Brilliant video, thank you. Really want to fit a solar panel to our 28. Does it only charge the service battery. If it charged the engine battery, you could always start the engine and charge the service battery. Any chance you could do a video of how the panel is fitted and wired? it looks perfect.
The battery bank you want to be charged is the house battery bank. The reason why is because all the parasitic loads that drain the batteries even when shut off are connected to the house battery bank.
Hi, Great videos congratulations. Can you tell me if the fridge runs directly off shore power please when at the dock? Or do i have to leave the house bank switched on and run it through the battery. Thanks
The solar panel is not currently (2022 and older model year) offered from the factory. This is not a challenging item to have installed and any good marine tech can install for you.
Another informative and incredibly useful video - thanks. Quick (possibly idiotic) question. When attached to shore power, I guess the isolators need to be switched on for power to flow to the batteries for charging. Otherwise they would be, well, isolated.
The batteries can be switched off and will remain charging. Having the battery switches off is best practice if planning to leave the boat for a long period of time when charging.
I WOULD LOVE TO BE A FUTURE CUSTOMER. Did you forget the electrical to the dash, to the rear components, to the motors, etc? Can I wash dishes to buy one?
Seen these vids multipel times. So Helpful
Great video. Thank you!
I want to the battery isolator axopar 37
Should the batteries be on during charging? Great video, thanks
Thanks a lot! Very useful

The refrigerator runs off DC only, so you do leave the house battery on while on shore power to power the refrigerator.
What do you recommend to do for the batteries during winter storage (with boat wrapped)? I'm guessing solar panels would be covered and not effective
Very helpful, thx. Is the solar panel available from the factory, or dealer installed? So it includes a charge regulator?

By battery isolators, do you mean the rotary switches pointed out in the video?
@@EastCoastYachtSales yes, that’s what I meant…
