Preset from the ZOO TV Pack for AX8, available on my website.
Unfortunately I didn't have my Edge Strat here, so I had to use my assembled strat - Jeff Beck body, fender replacement neck, strat plus hardware, bare knuckle pickups - holy driver bridge humbucker (split in this case) and irish tours single coils.

You have to laugh at guitar players who don’t respect Edge. He is absolutely up there with the greats- redefining electric guitar composition. Fantastic job here
Word. Edge is a mad genius who completely invented his own unmistakable sound and style. You simply don’t need to be a sweep picking stunt guitarist to make maximum impact unless that’s who you’re trying to impress. In fact, less can be so much more. So many Stunt guitarists play for ego stroking and to show off. Edge just fckng plays and every note hits home

Amazing, Sir. Ive picked my guitar up more during lockdown and could play 3/4 of this solo but i never really made time to nail the last bit, wherr edge harmonises yet still solos. I think some people just think "widdly widdly"fretwanking is good guitar - the amount of intricate parts and the delay - so much more impressive with some actual widdley bits too! Edo. Thank you. Nailed this song.

Great tuto as always Edo! Never noticed Edge was using the ‘Irish bell’ technique during the solo by playing the open E string 👍
Yeah, to be honest in the live version it’s hard to tell, but in the studio solo it surely is there, and it sounds very cool!
@@EdoFaiella well it sounds much fuller than playing the melody on one string only so I'll take that technique even if The Edge himself doesn't use it 😁

Do you mean my favorite Edge part? Let’s see, love is blindness live is definitely a good choice, then I would probably pick the outro solo of Please live, acrobat (studio), bullet, 11 o clock... there are so many! My favorite songs are streets and New Year’s Day!

I have been considering to get the helix native plug in and make some presets for helix. Can you or anybody else confirm that presets made with helix native are fully compatible and functioning on the helix processors?

What the edge uses to make the strings sensitive... when he plays the strings muffled, the sound comes out strong, when I play it it's weak. what does he use?? What should I put to make the muffled beats stronger? ????

I'm not sure whether you can import ax8 presets into the fx8... if you can, you'll only have the fx, you won't have the amps, which is quite a big part of the sound you hear in these clips... I'd consider getting an ax8 instead!

Good job Edo...zoo tv version is the best...i suggest less delay level causes saturation in the " E-D-E" riff and the chord at 2:13 is not correct..regards from Mexico
I actually double checked with a few different live videos from the same tour, and although I prefer the chord voicing in the studio version (with the C# in there), that’s the chord he plays in the 3 or 4 different shows I watched. Edge (and Larry and Adam as well) always seem to simplify things live, some things get better, some don’t..! 😊
@@EdoFaiella what kind of distor are you using for the Riff D-E-D?
@@luistrejo479 I'm using the AX8 only, the drive is the super od (which is the boss sd1 emulation, tweaked to mimic the od2)

Yes indeed! The whole zoo tv concert was tuned 1/2 step down (and so was popmart as well!)
