- Here I’m riding my 3yr old stud colt and teaching him that it’s his responsibility to stay on the rail. This is one video in a series that I’m doing on giving them responsibility in everything we do.

This worked perfectly. What a great tool to add to the tool belt. Thank you!
Hi. This has really helped me with my 19 yr old reiner I am trying to ease into Ranch and Ranch rail. He so seeks a circle and anticipates circles!. I am a 73 yr old English lady rider with a fantastic school master reiner, who unfortunately due to arthritis , can't do the big reining movement but hopefully will be happy and comfortable with Ranch. Thank you for your easy to follow instruction. Western in England is on the decrease and trainers are hard to find, I have to rely on RUclips!!
Thank you soo much for this video!! I have struggled for so long with this!!
So many lessons within this lesson. Great demo!
Makes sense! 👍
This is great Ryan. This is just want I need. My horse was good sticking to the rail but for some reason he is moving off in certain places. So I am going to try this the next time I go ride.
Great
Awww....he looked so sad in the corner!! 😞
i really like your video's they are truly helpful and very interesting.
Excellent
A cowboy wisdom: on the rail you only ride half a horse. So as soon as you progress ride away from the rail. So riding a straight line becomes more difficult.
What would you do for a horse that sticks to the rail at the walk but wants to turn in more at the trot?
