I have been trying for months to get my horse to lift the dropped shoulder my using my inside leg & rein, and as you say I just ended up with an aching arm and stiff tense horse horse. I Tried this method of opening the outside rein, I cannot believe it worked straight away. I now have a horse that does not fall in :) thank you
Hi Kirsten I wanted to say a big thank you for your concise videos and all the riding information that they contain. They have answered all sorts of questions that I had and as I continue learning with my horse I will continue to watch your previous videos to help us progress. 🤩
Important to help address this issue with regular physio sessions for horse and rider as both mirror one another. Horses are left or right handed as we are which over ridden years has a knock on effect upon the musculoskeletal problem. Combine with corrective exercises 👌
I think this advice will be absolutely life-changing on some of the schooling horses I ride at my local barn. Definitely going to give it a try.
