I love the double entendre in the bond movies it was part of what made the old movies so good. It was a spy movie with lots of action but did not take themselves overly serious.
Giving a woman your telephone number sidesteps several awkward issues. It doesn’t require a woman to give you her number, which creates some risk to her. It allows her to control your future contact. Maybe she would like to know more about you before agreeing to a date. A personal business card is a bit classier than a random piece of paper that might be difficult to read if handwritten. She is not forced to reject you outright, which is less damaging to you. She might even reconsider calling you after she thinks about it.
I've interacted with other men who argued this is not masculine because it gives your power to the woman, yada yada yada. Masculinity is decisive. Assuming attraction and giving her your number is decisive. When she texts you so you have ners, you still lead the interaction and dates.
The thing about James Bond, he wants to do the right thing, but he has his own agenda, he makes time to love the ladies and have fun at the same time!🍸
James, I cant thank you enough for your videos, your mission is really changing lifes! Since I started watching your videos Ive learned so many lessons that affected directly my relationship with people in a good way! Best regards, Augusto
A longtime Bond fan I have never seen Daniel Craig as James. My favorites always preceded him. Best was Sean Connery and then Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan. Honorable mention to George Lazenby. Great points about Bond the character. As the lyrics say "....no one does it better."
I’d tend to agree but as with all the successful transitions of Bonds you’d be missing out on one of the “all time greats” Daniel Craig. Not a bad movie among them. My order of preference would be Sean Connery Roger Moore Daniel Craig When it comes action and stunts, physically you can’t be Daniel!
@@vikingdaytrip4447 Glad you kept Sean and Roger on top. No it's not meant as a " double entendre". I do actually feel they were the best. George Lazenby as third, but then I seriously enjoyed OHMSS.
@@kiyoshitakeda452 ahh yeah George is great. I’d still rank for the modern Bond D Craig in third. Really does well with all aspects and of course the modern tech stuff. Hello James, I believe a good video idea for the future would be how to dress better while attending university, but without seeming too flashy. I feel like this would help a lot of people around the late teens/early twenties age.
Hello Mike. I have a few videos on this subject. You don’t have to wear suits and ties. Just coordinate your casual pieces better than the other men and make your everything fits you well.
I learned the importance of eye contact, from Idris Elba. It's about connection. Women in particular, want to be "seen", not simply looked at,or looked over.
A gentleman should always have with him some personal business cards in a purpose-made cardholder. It is so much more professional than writing your name and number on a piece of paper.
I would like to add something to this educational video; It’s important on making the right amount of eye contact, A woman which is interested in you, will look in your eyes and look away the first time, the second time making eye contact you gotta look away, otherwise she will feel that you just try to overpower her and resent you for it.
Good video, to the point and well put as usual. I especially like the idea of giving one's own number, something I've done lately and over the years as well. It's probabluy less intimidating to women than asking for a number. Some women no doubt feel obligated to give you their number to get rid of you and then never respond, or, so I'm told, may give a false number. Sidenote, I'm a fan of your knit ties, and I especially like this navy one.
I used to hand out custom printed calling cards. Until I got one of those modern money clip style wallets that are designed to carry as little as possible! I carried them mostly for business, but they made an impression for dates/wing girls too.
Another scene that i think represents very nice how bond is close to girls without being a creep, is in Dr.No when he is with Moneypenny (The " you never take me to dinner looking like this james")
Connery and Craig are No 1 and No 2 Bonds. Moore was number 3. The casino scene in Dr No is the top Bond scene of all time. The Bank of England dinner in Goldfinger is second.
ROGER MOORE was a great James Bond (I thought they ALL were) but he DID take his “double entendres” a bit too far at times. I remember in his first appearance as Bond (in LIVE AND LET DIE) he and the movie’s villain had just had a battle to the death, which ended with Bond forcing him to swallow a deadly capsule that caused him to swell up like a big balloon and explode. Bond immediately turned to the film’s leading lady (played by the beautiful JANE SEYMOUR) and said, “I always thought that he was too full of himself!”
Roger Moore was never short of wit. In some ways, my favorite Bond. He brought a light hearted edge to the role. However, he was also on some of the worst movies
I wouldn’t quite say this is double meaning, just witty. I think this is a better example, when he was complemented by a girl that he was good with words, he answered “ and figures”
@@suzimajor9532 I suppose, I get it, but the whole video is about flirting. I don’t think this witty comment is a double meaning flirt. No hard feelings 👍
In my life, I have encountered some nice gentlemen, but I didn't dare to give my contact number as a lady. Even now, I wonder what could have happened if we had exchanged contact. Handing your business card's a great idea as it's difficult to go beyond the social norm of being seductive as a lady.
Might I suggest investing in some stationary? If you're out and want to give someone your number or email address, etc. A very classy move is to offer them your card, no fumbling to write something on a notepad or to enter into a phone. Plus it shows you care enough about your contact information to give it an extra touch.
Any advice for military guys on dating? I can hold my own. But I feel embarrassed to even talk about what I do because I feel like women don’t like military guys at all.
“I feel like women don’t like military guys at all.” Get rid of beliefs that don’t serve you, friend. This is a generalization predicated on fear of being rejected. Fuck the fear and embarrassment. Everything will be okay Second, unless you’re on duty, take time to groom yourself and looks max in casual yet classy civilian clothing. It gets women’s attention and may want to approach you if you don’t do it first. Plus, you don’t need to let them know if you’re military right away. Start with light conversations. Be light-hearted. Joke around and play dumb a little. Get her to laugh and smile. Make her feel good around you. And if the topic of your occupation comes up, you can maybe play a little game of “guess the branch” and just give her a brief general statement of what you do. Like, “I do outdoor work mostly” or “I do administrative work.” etc etc etc. In any case, it pays the bills. No need for heavy details. Above all, be a gentleman. Be honorable. You got this man.
@@mat7083 hey I really do appreciate it man. I’ve just been on a bunch of dates where I think they go well but they don’t go anywhere at all and I was disappointed about it. Expanding on number 6, James NEVER begs or grovels. The "I'm interested, take it or leave it" approach lets a girl know that if she declines, you will 100% NOT be stalking her. It makes her feel safe and powerful.
I think one thing James ought to do more is be a bit less serious in this very intentional mission of his, it can be a bit much. Just my opinion, though the content is very good quality overall.
