Hey everyone! We’re thrilled to finally release this long documentary of our our Brazil adventure with y’all. We’re back home for a bit from the Pan American road trip, so instead of a new vlog from the road, we’ve put together this comprehensive video of our incredible journey through Brazil. We hope you enjoy all the stunning landscapes and epic moments we captured. Thanks for watching and for all your support!
Awesome video. Did you get the chance to get back and eat a proper feijoda? I'm from Rio and the one from here is great. It was also great to see that you didn't stick to the beach only. We have beautiful mountain landscapes and almost no foreigner knows about it. If you plan to come back, I'd suggest four additional videos like that: The first one in the northeast region which has a deep African-influenced culture, with its peculiar tasteful food. They have great beaches and you'll experience a different music style. The second one would be the north region, where the Amazon forest is. You can visit the forest and even some indigenous tribes. The third is the country's central area. I suggest going to Minas Gerais, which has the best Brazilian food in my opinion. Take the opportunity to visit Brasilia (our capital) with its famous architecture and finish your journey in Mato Grosso, where is this awesome biome called Pantanal, home of Piranas, Aligators, and so much more. The last is the south region. It is highly european-influenced, with awesome churrascos (barbecues), wine and chocolate. You'll find different "Brazils" in every trip.
The word "carnival" originated with the Roman Catholic Church allowing its faithful to celebrate the pagan festival better known as the festival of "carnal" desires. After the end of the festival, the faithful of the church had to purify themselves for 40 days until Easter, this period is called Lent. In ancient Brazil it was mandatory to respect Lent, otherwise supernatural things would happen, according to folklore the spirits punished people who were negligent during Lent.
Is it just me or there's also some other Brazilians out there who like watching videos in English of foreigners here in Brazil?haha, greetings from Rio de Janeiro - Brazil 🇧🇷⛱️

Brazil was colonized and then had the immigration of several people from different countries, so we have several regions of Brazil as if they were a little piece of these countries, our southern region is also very beautiful, as are the beaches in the northeast region.

The Botanical Garden dates back to 1808, and it was established by the Regent Prince of Portugal, D. João VI, when the Portuguese court, fleeing from Napoleon, settled in Brazil. It was the first time in history that a Portuguese king set foot in a colony, and Rio de Janeiro became the capital of the Portuguese Empire.
@@rjmh3968 When D. João VI arrived in Brazil in 1808, he was the Prince Regent of Portugal. He came to Brazil to escape the Napoleonic troops that had invaded Portugal. D. João VI only became King of Portugal after the death of his mother, Queen Maria I, also known as the Mad Queen, in 1816. Until then, he had been governing as Prince Regent since 1799.
What a beautiful tribute they paid to Brazil with this video. Every place in the world has its problems, but here we have much more to be grateful for than to complain about.
It’s funny to read people say “ I love Brazil.” They should say “ I love Rio.” Brazil is a continental size country- it’s so diverse and different. Rio is just a small part of it. You should visit other places or states-

The Confeitaria Colombo dates back to 1894 and was ranked as one of the top 5 most beautiful cafes in the world. Did you like the Brigadeiro? It's easy and quick to make, taking less than 10 minutes. If you’d like, I can explain how to make it. Here, it is used for birthday parties and weddings.
I am not sure if you weren't told, or don't know, as you didn't mention it. The Samba Schools start preparing next year's costumes and floats immediately after this year's carnaval. The people have thousands of costumes to cut and sew, and many floats to build. The musicians and dancers start rehearsal around December. In the rehearsal you watched very few people has costumes on, and not all participants showed up. A samba school, during carnaval, presents itself with some 4,000 people, some with 5,000, as well as 4 or 5 huge, and very elaborate floats.
Yes, Brazil has beautiful cities that look like Europe and it even snows. Brazil has safe and modern cities, but unfortunately people tend to show only the same thing: beaches, heat, soccer and samba, but this does not represent Brazil even 1%. If you want to go to a good place, don't go to Rio.
Brazil is much more than Rio de Janeiro. We have beautiful cities across the country such as Brasilia, Salvador, Natal, Florianópolis, Curitiba, Goiânia, Fortaleza.
Feijoada is good in the backyard, with friends singing samba. Black beans cooked in an iron pot, filled with pork, with bacon farofa and pork rinds ("torresmo"). To drink, lemon caipirinha. You're always welcome.
Feijoada you can find friday and saturday at most of serlf service restaurants. And if you wanna try a more Brazil food, try the food from Belo Horizonte/ MG. Mineira food is amazing and its the place where all pão de queijo came from :) Glad to know u love our country. Come back whenever you want.
Someone should told you that you can go up the first mountain on foot, for free, ahd after 19h take the cable to go down. It's a very nice little trip, but they close the gate at 18h, so you heve to go up at 16h because it's get dark in the forest, it's take sort of 30 min to go up if you go direct. But to go to second mountain you have to pay.
11:17 "How is everybody in Brazil so fit?" Well... Brazilians are obsessed with being good looking. So, they go hard on the gym, running, playing sports, etc.. But it is true also that brazilians eat A LOT. I've been away from Brazil now for 6 years and what I miss the most is the food. I criticize Brazil on many things, but brazilian food, in my opinion, is the best food of all americas.

Rio is a must-see city in Brazil, I would visit nearby cities like Petropolis and beaches in Niteroi to spend the day (oceanic region: itacoatiara, itaipu, sossego), maybe more distant cities, I strongly recommend Paraty (south direction: some beach in Juatinga reserve) and Arraial do Cabo (north direction), both cities have astonishing beaches and Paraty has many colonial buildings. But Brazil is much more than Rio and Sao Paulo, and Amazon region. The two sights that made loose my breath was Foz do Iguaçu Falls and Fernando de Noronha (specially cacimba beach).
When going to a "All You Can Eat BBQ" in Brazil (Rodizio de Churrasco), I think it would be the best place to go with a brazilian. The reason for that is because there IS SO MUCH stuff (probably over 100 options counting buffet, meats, etc) that is hard to choose. And of couse nobody has the stomach space to eat every single one of them. Particularly, I didnt see you eating what I consider the 2 best cuts: Ribs and Picanha. Would also have been nice to try the "Coalho Cheese" that these BBQ places normally have.
O dono da Jardineira ficou feliz com eles comendo: banana, carangueijo, linguiça, frango e carneiro… quando passou a picanha e a costela: nao obrigada 😂😂
Great video you guys! You really did it different from what other foreigners do in Brasil. I wish you had time to go to the Northeast of Brasil (where the beautiful beaches are) it’s a whole new experience there.. Our culture is insane, every state is so different, there’s so much to offer, it’s hard to put it into words. Hopefully you loved our country and will visit again! Safe travels
I moved from Rio de Janeiro to São Bento do Sapucaí, after a life in IT, to open an inn. I like how the foreigners enjoy Brazil. It's a little late now but I really recommend the vineyard experience in São Bento do Sapucaí. Also, you can find the world (in terms of food) in São Paulo.

I Love BRASIL !!!!!!!!!!!
💚🇧🇷💛
❤❤❤ venha pra Curitiba tbm
Nice vídeo guys, Rio is the best place in the world. Welcome and have fun!
The Sum Rizes on the Atlantic Coast of the America, and sets on the Pacific. Thus in Rio, the reverence is given to the beautiful sun Rizes.

Friends, the secret is just to eat without guilt, just to eat with pleasure. Everything that gives us pleasure is only good for us.
Eu amo ❤️ ser Brasileiro 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️❤️
Great video you guys! You really did it different from what other foreigners do in Brasil.
I wish you had time to go to the Northeast of Brasil (where the beautiful beaches are) it’s a whole new experience there.. Our culture is insane, every state is so different, there’s so much to offer, it’s hard to put it into words.
Hopefully you loved our country and will visit again! Safe travels
JOAO PESSOA AND RECIFE
I moved from Rio de Janeiro to São Bento do Sapucaí, after a life in IT, to open an inn. I like how the foreigners enjoy Brazil. It's a little late now but I really recommend the vineyard experience in São Bento do Sapucaí. Also, you can find the world (in terms of food) in São Paulo.
It was really great to watch you guys having so much fun in my country! But I'm sorry you ordered a poor feijoada... Next time you come, please have the real one at a good restaurant! 😊
We love your travel videos ❤❤We plan on spending the Christmas holidays in Brazil with my wife's family and would like to bring our dog along. What are the requirements?
you guys should visit Brasília in June, the hot and humid impression will dissipate quickly!
Very nice
Sou Brasileira .
awww watching the feijoada bit is so cute. When you order feijoada at home, it doesn't look that appetizing, but it can still be pretty good! And that's a pretty normal way to ship it too!
This has to be a re-upload because I've seen this before!
We made a long film of our time there! There are new scenes added. We can’t wait to get back to Brazil to film more. Making this made us miss Brazil even more!
Eu morei em Belém por 2 anos. O melhor de Belém é o rio. Passei de caiaque. Ilha do Cumbu. Passeios de canoa havaiana.. mas as praias melhores são na Ilha de Marajó.
You must come to visit Ceará, Brazil too.
I love Carambola Juice 🤤 eu adoro essa fruta ❤️
