It is time to stop dreaming and take back control!
    I created this channel to build an open travel community which enables people to spend less time researching and more time traveling by having access to the right information more quickly.

      Cure Travel Deficiency yes!!! This November and when I saw your video I wrote down sooooo many information, thank you so much 🙏🙏 By the way I would like to go to St. Peter’s basílica but the lines are crazy, do you have any tip for that?

      That’s great - glad it was helpful! Do you mean to go up to the dome? I believe the Pope gives speeches from his window (every?) Sunday. That’s when people stop queuing and it thins out. We watched the speech for a while and then went queuing before it ended. We had to way perhaps 10 mins or less and it filled up quickly again after the speech ended. I hope this helps and have a great trip! Let us know how you liked it in Rome.

    Hi. How do you get to that screenshot @ 0:29? I think it would be very helpful for trip planning. I tried Googling 'Rome Travel Guide' but I still couldn't find how to get there.

    Very helpful! Although I have one question: I’m visiting Rome next week and have booked Vatican museum tickets for around 12:30pm. Could I go to St Peters Basilica and climb it before? Graize!

    • @curetraveldeficiency2398
      @curetraveldeficiency2398  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Drakotar, I checked the timestamps on our videos. It took us about 1 hour to wait in the (short) queue, buy our tickets, climb up, take some pictures/videos and then climb back down. Thus, I think it should be possible to do this in the morning before you visit the Vatican Museum at 12.30pm. However, I don't think there is an option to pre-book the tickets for climbing up to the viewing point. Therefore, it also depends on the length of the queue. As with all attractions in Rome, I would recommend to come here as early as possible in the morning. So, check the opening times online for the day you plan on visiting.
      Let me know if you have any other questions and how you like Rome once you are back!

    This is confusing, I thought Rome has a train service from Fiumicino Airport to Termini Centrale Correct me if I’m wrong

    • @curetraveldeficiency2398
      @curetraveldeficiency2398  5 лет назад +3

      Rome actually has two airports. I was speaking about the options available at Ciampino Airport which does not have a direct train. If you fly into Fiumicino Airport, then you are right and there is a train service which takes you to Rome’s center. Unfortunately, I have only been to Ciampino Airport - so I cannot comment on this service. If you try it, please feel free to come back and report how it was! :)

    How many days is enough in Rome and is it easy to get around the tourist attractions . Is there any Indian or halal restaurants.

    • @curetraveldeficiency2398
      @curetraveldeficiency2398  5 лет назад

      Hi - thanks for stopping by! If you just want to explore Rome, you should be able to see most things over a long weekend (3 days or 4 days) depending on how much time you intend to spend in museums and attractions. It is very easy to get around. You could either take the metro or just walk from attraction to attraction. Most of the attractions are in the city center, so we took the metro in the morning or evening from and to the hotel and walked everywhere during the day. Unfortunately, I am not sure about the restaurants since we enjoyed eating Italian food while we were in Rome!
