Absolutely loved it as a Plymouth Argyle fan but as much as I hate to say it, they deserved to go up this year. Good to have a derby next season though and first time in league 1 since 2010/11.
The offside in the move was just before the foul so took precedence. We see the flag going up for it still before the foul TV slow-mo pictures confirmed this. Mind you, it wasn't easy to see from the other end of stadium, where I was.
Yeh very controversial circumstances Paul Buckle born in Stevenage managing Torquay and already signed up to manage Bristol Rovers!! He probably wanted Stevenage to win!!!
@@Azza1o1 no but cov had the most fans of any team in a league 2 playoff final, the only reason its lower is because of how many fans exeter took to wembley
As a Northampton fan, the 2012/13 one hurts. May as well have given Bradford the win rather than turn up. 2019/20 definitely made up for it, even if we couldn’t be there in person.
No surprise to see the EFL doing nothing about Port Vale cheating there way to Wembley, but considering the standard of referring in league 2 is pathetic, nothing will ever change..

I think it is fair to say that the play offs don't like Exeter City. 3 final defeats in 4 seasons.
At least they went up through the automatic this year!

Guess that’s why they’re called Exeter, with all of their exits 🤪
I’ll see myself out
@@patrickmccabe6445yeah for the best
that wimbledon strike partnership though. lyle taylor and akinfenwa.
What a powerful front 2
Hahahahahaha love the music for the 05-06 final. That brings it back
would love a national league version!
Bet👍🏻
How did Newport not get a pen against Tranmere 😂 great video. Hard to believe only one of the games went to penalties.
ik still infuriating as a local newport fan

I love shit like this, just interesting seeing actual big crowds for tiny teams
Well done
Torquay vs Stevenage being played at Old Trafford was such a weird location for the teams I went but it was soo expensive
Imagine every team from the North having to travel to London....
@@no1wasgeorgiebest I'm a Torquay fan we travel the futherest every year so yeah can't feel too sorry for them.

Bristol Rovers had an amazing side with Ricky Lambert before his Southampton, Liverpool & England days
Do believe we still hold the record attendance for a League 2 game. Gasssssss UTG
61k in 2006/07 and 40,000 of that Gasheads, what a day that was. Only Wimbledon Vs Argyle came anywhere near (57k in 2015/16)
Newport one stung me. Shouldn't have lost it but that's the thing with finals...
I'm a County fan myself! Went to both finals, almost replicas! Left us with a long journey going home🥲
@huffypuff0 Robbed by shit refs, and now we are shambles 😒 The trips would have sucked back home
Can thank cov for the biggest league 2 play off final attendance ever
Coventry game didn’t even have the biggest attendance in the video lmao

Since when did dag&red go into the EFL I thought they have always been a national league team
Lol I remember them being in fifa
Off the top of my head I think it was 2006/07 season the same season we (Morecambe) went up.
Spent 8 seasons in League 2 and 1 in League 1
Could you possibly do a MLS or Serie A one of these???
Mls don’t have regulation or promotions

UTV ⚫⚪
Why was one of them played at Man U?
Apparently it was because they clashed with the Champions League final in Wembley that year
Champions
Barcelona vs Manchester United
did I hear that right - in 100 years Rochdale had 1 Promotion ?
Hard to believe isn’t it! They’ve been promoted 3 times in their entire history as of today. 1969, 2010 and 2014.
County robbed twice 🤬
ECFC ❤️
ECFC at Wembley - 💩💩
See you next season anyway!! 🦐🦐🦐
Please no music!!!!!
These were the only videos I could get
So many of these teams fell off a cliff after. Be warned.
