The overload is not a problem... It's an indication you are requiring more processing power than you currently have at your disposal, with your current settings .. Apple have now launched the M1 chips which gives you an ubundance of CPU power , so in a way they have now resolved it to a certain extent... But the issue was never with Apple hardware, happens a lot on pc too with other DAWs 👍
OMG, I love this man! I'm a singer-songwriter and I produce my own tracks, I'm in this game for 10 years, but I upgraded a lot more in 3 years since I started listening to his tracks, way more progress than the first 7 years hahahahahah He's amazing
Firstly, thank you for posting this. It was VERY helpful! \o/ A few questions.... 1. Do popular EDM artists "make" and "create" all of their own beats completely from scratch, or do they use royalty free presets, or both or a combo of both or ???? I'm WAY confused on how instrumental EDM artists sell their songs and become so popular when some of their beats are the coolest things i've ever heard, and sometimes not, and sometimes sounds... well, sort of familiar. :) 2. Do EDM artists doing huge and epic LIVE concerts use their own or other music?.... HOW and what music are they using?? I'm way confused. I see them in videos DJ's and mixing and sometimes scratching music - but is it their own or someone elses? How are they actually doing/dj's the music? Is it their own songs they are playing and mixing live?
1. It's a combination of both but we make most things from scratch, 2. We use our own tracks and other artists' with similar styles tracks', we also support other artists' tracks on shows
@@rhukiebeats Thanks for answering. So when using others, is that still a part of when you mesh, create, mix and make the song and sell them? Just want to make sure everything I do is as OG as possible, but there are SO many incredible epic cuts and beats I would so love to use and incorporate into my own songs - dont' want to be "bitin'" the beats. ;-)
I mean everyone uses sample packs. Midi VST instruments are used for synths but most people use presets, most drums are from sample packs. "Edm" nowadays is very carbon copy, cut and paste compared to early 2000's and late 90's.

Hah Logic crashing. Typical. That's why I moved to Ableton and I love it!! Plus I find it easier and lighter to use. Can't stand Logic anymore but still use it for vocal comping.
The problem with ableton is how it sums audio...it's not great for mastering your track...Logic much better. Also the GUI writing in Ablteon is far too small...you'd need a magnifying glass to read it
@Vic LTD reaper is a beast i have it too....you can do basically anything with logic you can do with any other major daw...maybe reaper not included cuz that thing you can re programme to do anything
all is great but it feels as if Jonas didn't even produce this track or he is hiding 99% of everything. all he shows is - look here are all the tracks and singular layers and that's all that's how I did it - which won't help anybody xD it looks as if he doesn't even know how to play a chord on a keyboard and it's funny how the host has to lead him to explain things and he doesn't even know anything hmm weird but no disrespect meant but using common sense you will feel the same
Only 725 views? Wtf? Jonas Blue is a legend
bad marketing
People loves to listen song not how someone creates them

Apple, if you're watching this.
look what just happend!
when are you going to solve the system overload problem?
It's solved. You just have to know what a buffer is.

Brilliant masterclass

Sampled the Brass from vinyl lol. Dude all the samples are from sample packs dont Lie lol.
You don't pretend to know, all sample packs are also recorded manually and made manually before becoming a sample LOL XD

Video Quality is very amateur.
God just a lot of talking, nothing about EDM production barely
yeah i had one look at the arrangement in Logic...a quick listen to the tune written...pressed stop...next video.
