I wish I had a competent Boss like you. They should start making Nate certification mandatory Nationally. You know your stuff Taddy. Keep them coming.
what is nate certefication again?
@@979vlogs7 NATE certification is a federal and nationally understood credential. By taking the NATE exam which is proctored and not open book, it shows that you have a deep understanding of HVAC applications.. NATE is a lot harder than acquiring your universal certification. After you take your NATE core exam, then you move on to take your specialty NATE exams. These specialty fields allow you to dive deeper into the fields of your interest. A company who sees that a person is NATE certified, shouldn’t second-guess them. Moreover, by acquiring your NATE certification, you are eligible to keep up-to-date on the newest developing technologies that are related to HVAC applications. You are awarded NATE credits. Only a person who is NATE certified can earn NATE credits through the approved channels. So, NATE also lets people know that you’re constantly keeping up-to-date on the newest HVAC technologies and updates. I hope this helped.
Very happy to see our VANPO tools, thank you very much, great video!👍
Thank you very much
I love it
I have a ducted Midea unit not unlike this one. The service manual does not do a good job of explaining how to remove the blower assembly. This gives some great hints. Thanks!
Glad it helped
Nice job Tad & Crew ... Thx
Brother you are doing very good job
Thank you so much man that means a lot
Amazing video and very beneficial. I have a Daikin indoor unit with a DC brushless motor, where I notice the fan ramps up to a high speed and then stops, vibration is also a bit abnormal when this ramp-up happens. Is this a sign of a bad motor or an issue with the control board
I am seeing the same issue, noticed the same, rightside blower wheel in reverse
I always told my new construction homeowners that sheetrock dust clogs the indoor coil and destroys blower motor bearings and NO warranty on parts or labor. The installation paperwork/warranty usually states that. If a contractor needs heat, they need to run salamanders, LP heaters or electric heaters.
Tadd, when you assembled the blower blades on the new motor you reversed the right hand drum so it will be running backwards and not blowing air. I waited to see if you would find and fix it but you assembled it reversed.
Nice work Gentlemen!
Thank you kindly!
Boa Noite este equipamento é inverter? São quantos evaporador pra este condensador? Parabéns pelo trabalho sou daqui do Brasil acompanho seus videos
When you have flare fittings on anything try some refrigeration oil or nylog on the brass, definitely helps with the brass to brass connections. Also, can use on flare sight glasses and txv's. No jokes love the fact you actually torque them to spec because a lot of people don't.
Thank you for the tips brother
Tad, great video and super helpful - I just subscribed to your channel as well!
Question for you: I have the same exact issue with my 1.5 ton pancake style Samsung blower motor, but it's sitting on blocks in very tight attic space that's only 4-feet tall. Any recommendations for the best way to hang it in a tight space to then complete the motor swap? My idea is to hang the mini-duct from the flat attic ceiling, remove the blocks it's sitting on and then complete motor swap before making a new removable ceiling below.
I would definitely go with your idea. I think that you are on the right track. Let me know how it turns out
Your blades are upersit each other Tod
0:04 Great video Tad Can you do a video on Saving money for HVAC school or the trades is better! Keep up the hard work! Requested video just an idea for you brother
I can definitely do a video about that. Thank you for the request my brother
check for grants, that's how I went, or get your foot in a company and see if they have tuition reimbursement for going to school, the company I work for has it.
You can tell he's your brother ❤
Am I the only one tripping or did he put the fans in opposite directions?
how do you know when to deep clean? 1 person can wait 5yrs, another 1yr.
umm..... did you intentionally reverse the right blower wheel? hope Im seeing this wrong
Blower is working probably just the way I shot the video
Before disassembling, both facing same direction. After reassembling, one was reversed.
@@USA-GreedyMenOfNoIntegrity I noticed same thing.

I believe the top panel is also removable for fan access!
So are you saying i'm retarded lol 😆 😂
@@TaddyDigest haha I would never…I know for sure that the “duct s” models are accessible from the top and bottom…always good to brush up on pumping down! Haha, hope all is well my man
This is not a duct s model This is the slim duct model.
But I still feel retarded. lol 😆 😂
But I know what you're talking about with the duct s model.
@@TaddyDigest Us Samsung brothers stick together lol!
Doesn't look that old for the blower motor to be going out already..but like the layout of the parts
This one is not very old at all
@TaddyDigest sorry teddy I wasn't knocking your work, just I shouldn't have been having to go back in such short time period. Just saying man
Too bad you can’t install unit upside down. That motor gonna fail again
Plastic. Made in china cheap parts. We have merv 13... 2in filters at my work for these FCUs.
