Looks like a First Company electric air handler. Have this job tomorrow. Appreciate the video.

First duel shaft blower motor I changed was in a broom closet server room in an ambulance station, work order had to be done that day. With the motor right above the server rack and having never worked on one before, ended up taking me 6 hours to get the old one out and taken apart and put back together with the new motor. It was a humbling learning experience. 😅

I have to replace a dual shafted motor like this one on a wall unit at a school tomorrow. I’ve done tons of blower motors but never one of these before. Kinda dreading it to be honest.

I’ve done a dozen of them. Sucks every time

If it's on of the BARD wall hangers it's so easy you will not believe it. Remove the wires and only 6 screws, and the whole thing pops right out.

Lucky you the shafts were not all rusted, now that would have been a real pain.

Great video, very useful. Can you advise the brand of the ECM dual axel fan, I wouldn't mind trying this retrofit.

I was working on this today but didn't install the wheel correctly by installing the locking screw outside rather than inside on both wheel, would this be a reason why I'm having vibration when I reinstalled it, I got a new wheel and fan motor, thanks.

About how long did the replacement take? I got one tomorrow and not looking forward to it being a confined space.

Thanks for sharing the video. Awesome work. Question: where is this motor located or being use? I never have come across a dual shaft motor.

All I have to do is spin the fan blade by finger and the motor is spinning again. Done this for many years . Where do I search for lubes or cleaners etc.
I think maintenance will be a little bit hesitant to replace the whole thing as seen in the video if it is still functioning.

If you have to give the fan an extra ouch for it to start it’s not getting enough voltage - this is why psc motors have capacitors

I had to order a First Company unit like that and took 3 months to get it.
Anyone have or know of any distributors that can ship these units pretty quickly?

Search on your model number or motor number. Lots of places sell motors.
