Some of the most sinister sounding blues this side of the Crossroads. Add in some feedback, smashed drums and a fifth of JD and you have some straight-up, no bullshit rock-n-roll.
Was lucky enough to see Steve in Edinburgh and meet him afterwards, what a show, one of the greatest. This has got to be one of the best performances of DHB I've seen!!! Amazing!

Kim Philipp Möllgaard it was like that with Colonel Sanders (although a very different occupation) he only became successful in his 70s or even 80s. Thus KFC became a huge success, so just because your old doesn't mean that you can't be successful! 👍
Kim Philipp Möllgaard It's not sad, it tells us not to give up, never!!! I saw Steve the first time last year here on youtube, and this year i met him in Bochum. Great musician and big man!!!
another guy like him is James Johnson in Austin;; they lived the life... it isn't the talent so much as the realism to these types.. authentic people.... so easy to like
this was so amazing, i just passed by this stage and he grabbed my attention right away. bought his album aswell. amazing performance. it was the best sold album on this years lowlands. :)))
I just started playing guitar, and I bought a 1000 dollars guitar so it will sound good, but watching steve makes me ashamed, cause he can play that beautiful sound with old guitar and only 3 strings
@@dilwyn1 And here one of the best from The Netherlands!!! ruclips.net/video/aZcvTYQ3HRw/видео.html Search for 'Floor Jansen' or 'Nightwish'. LOL For Floor at RUclips use 'jenniezelf', than you'll have Welsh subs!!!!
And also, Steve didn't mention whether his step daddy has pushed him out through the window just after he came back making Steve to abandon the house. He says it happened "some day"
epic ,,, he is a man in a lifetime , you need too check him out , with Tom Jones ,,att pinkpop ? , kill em all Steve ,, you killed it on stage here , glad you had a hat too put out for some spare change,
MrYamaha2306 He wasn't born in 1941. That's a myth he put out. His real name is Steve Leach and he's been a session musician and producer for a long time, but he was never a homeless blues journeyman. He just made that up.
Lived that on my own since 15 and still take care of myself
dirty sounding blues just how it should be love it
Guy is a great example of never giving up, live your life and always look on the brightside... Brilliant and heartfelt musician.
I love Steve! A genius with the guitar, and any 70 year old man who can have people of all ages rocking to his music is a legend in my eyes!!
Cherish and savor every second this man can still do this. We will never see a bluesman like this again. His drummer is amazing to boot.
Old man kicks serious ass!
STEVE FEEL FOR YA BROTHER YOUR STORIES ARE REAL LIFE AND I STAND WITH YOU.

simply oustanding!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure music! no s#$it interfering
He had his breakthrough at the age of 65, that's both impressive and a little sad. Nevertheless, I instantly loved this guy the moment I saw him.

Seasick Steve is a fictional character, created by a session musician. All fake apparently, he is like 60ish

Grandpa needs to check his math, Korean War was from 1950-1953 >> started same year as grandpa was born.
Assuming that his father came back from Korea just after the war ended. He could have came back sooner or a while later.
Yeah that's what my math worked out to too
what happened to his brother?
Ends it with a fifth of Jack Daniels mmm mm good
how can he be 70 if his step dad was in korea? my grandpa was in korea and hes only 72.
Its a chrome PLATED bud :P
You know you're a bad ass if you can make a three stringed POS guitar rock the house....
you need to get a hours of justion jhonison .
