If we come in contact with a person with demonic influence, we take authority over the demons ... Same is true for relationships. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world
In all seriousness, this sounds very much like my ex wife. She had her own interpretation of biblical verses to make me submit to her narcissistic will. She had all four of these criteria.
Hi Mark I hope you're doing well, I pray that you continue to do what God has placed in your heart. I pray to one day meet the right person and that she wouldn't be someone who tears me down. I pray she is what truly is best for me.
I have known at least 2 people from church groups who got involved with people living under demon influence. One a woman the other a man. Both "instantly fell in love" with how hot they were and did no homework just presumed that God had brought them together and married them. The man was a new believer not very knowledgeable and admitted he was lonely for a wife and this young woman was what most men consider a gem. I only saw her once and only heard she faked her beliefs to attract the man into marriage The woman I knew well, and a lifelong believer and supposedly knew better, but "presumed on God" that he would convert the man after she married him. Both had a lot of trouble. The woman ended up divorced, I never heard back about the man.
What happens with the person that is used. I've found myself praying fervently for her. By the grace of God, I've reached a place of forgiveness for her and myself. I know fully well that the relationship was not Godly. Despite a "church" wedding. I greive over that ceremony. My heart was shattered, and it brought me back. I find myself questioning God. What about her salvation?
Hallo pastor Mark, based on 1Corinthians 14:34-35 that says( Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church) 1)does this verse means that a the husband stand between his wife and God to understand or to learn or to hear something from God or to interpret the scripture? 2) does this verse means that a woman should not preach in church and speak like (sing, pray, prophecy even if she has that gift? If yes, How about Peter 2:9 that says: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Each and every follower of Christ is now a member of the “priesthood of believers” The way I understand this verse is that now every believer is a member of the priesthood means every believer(without exception) can now preach. Is my interpretation well? If no, or if yes, can you please help me to understand why the two bible verse seams to contraduct the other?
I appreciate this, but have a concern. What about Deborah, Esther and Joan of Arc? These guidelines, they seem to go against those biblical teachings of their story and how they led Gods people. Help me out here! I am a widow who was given authority by Christ to share prophecy and there are many like me in this time, our leader is Christ, he is our head and is using our vessel to support the body of Christ. Jesus shared that all men and women would have his authority through the Holy Spirit, thank you and God Bless a you all!
1 Timothy 2 and 1 Corinthians 14 talk about this subject. The examples you listed were not pastors or leaders in the marriage. Women can lead, just not their husbands or men in the church.
Deborah was a Judge over Israel and a man asked her to go into battle. She explained to him the cost and he still wanted her to accompany him. Esther was a woman of humility and had a quiet and gentle spirit. She was very submissive and certainly had the fear of the Lord. She followed Mordecai’s instructions and he gave her wisdom and in her humility as well as her position of influence, God saved the nation of Israel. Joan of Arc…I don’t even think she’s a biblical character. I can double check that, but she might be along the same lines as Xena the Princess warrior.🤷♀️. She isn’t in the Bible and shouldn’t be referenced as a woman of virtue.
@@jennhawkins5356 Deborah was a prophet as well as a judge and was sent by God, not man. The story of Deborah in Judges 4 and 5 begins like many of the stories in the Book of Judges-the Israelites sinned against the Lord, and he sold them out to King Jabin of Canaan. This went on for 20 years until the Israelites cried out to the Lord for help. At that time, Deborah was leading Israel as a judge. She sent for Barak, a commander in Israel’s army, and told him to go and fight Jabin’s army led by Sisera. Barak said he would only go if Deborah went with him. Deborah agreed but told Barak the honor will not go to him, because the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman. When Barak’s army advances, the Lord routs Sisera’s army, and Sisera flees on foot. Sisera goes to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber, because there was an alliance between King Jabin and Heber’s family. Joan of Arc was a woman of God according to history. I listen to spirit for guidance, appreciate you sharing. God Bless You
Jeremiah 2:19-22,34 [19]Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts. [20]For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot. [21]Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me? [22]For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD. [34]Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.
This doesn't sound like the word of God to me. This sounds like the words of men who wanted to subjugate women. I think Jesus would be disappointed in people who just follow everything written in the Bible verbatim without using their God given gifts of reasoning, logic and the ability to question and doubt. Human beings are flawed, whether man or woman, priest or pastor, king or queen and so religious texts became corrupted by corrupt men who who took God's word and twisted it to their own ends, it's our job to discern the truth therein and weed out the lies, dishonesty and manipulation. God Bless.

What if my wife lead me to the church, and is keeping me there.

So in other words, if a woman finds you attractive....
