    Should you be doing these exercises if there is actual inflammation, or it's sore to press on the area a couple of inches above the ankle where the ligament and muscle cross over the shin bone?

      @@sergiupobereznic generally these are safe to do as long as it doesn’t feel worse during or after the exercise. Local tenderness as you’ve described is one sign that is common with this condition. Your best bet though is to consult your healthcare team to know for sure though.

    I have ankle impingement and plantar fasciitis both, currently unable to do lunges at all.
    thanks for this video will be incorporating this in my routine.

      if you have plantar fasciitis it'd also be worth looking into some calf strengthening. Good luck with your recovery!

      Are you referring to a sprained ankle? If you are, depending on how long ago the ankle sprain was, the exercises in this video may or may not help.

      @@RehabHero My sprained my ankle 4.5 years ago. I get relief by your execcises. But when I run, I feel pain.

      @ chances are you need to follow up with more strengthening exercises if the pain comes back when you start running. My videos for Achilles and the Tibialis anterior have strengthening exercises that can help

    Hello. Thanks for the video. Regarding the ankle scour: Do i need to be kneeling down? I cant reach my full dorsiflexion in that position, but i can when slightly standing and putting weight on it

      @@p410n3 you can do to standing but I suggest elevating the foot on a stable stool or stair step if doing so

    One of my ankles sometimes pinches on the front of my ankle on the outside, but only when I do a deep squat with turned out feet for dance. Could this help with that?

      It can help depending on the exact location of the ankle pinching, to be honest though it's hard to visualize exactly which spot you're referring to as the ankle has many bones and joints in and around it. There's another condition that it could be related to called 'chronic ankle sprains', this condition would benefit from a different series of exercises focused on ankle stability and strength. You would need to get your ankle assessed by a physiotherapist / physical therapist or sports chiropractor to know exactly which condition you're dealing with.

    Mine doesn't hurt when I run or jump but it kills me when I do dorsiflexion, would these help

      glad it does! it takes a few weeks to months for the gains to be permanent but if you're consistent you'll eventually get there :)

    Dude is lifting his heel but telling us to not lift the heel. What is loser. Just wasting our time.

      Sorry the video should've clarified, the amount of heel lift you see in this video is acceptable, I was referring to a heel lift that has the entire hind and mid foot losing contact with the surface it's on.
