@@sccmusicdirector9424 don't bother with Jay's comment. I have come back to your recording several times over this last week. I have heard many recordings of this fugue (haven't we all) but there was an elegance to your performance that has stuck with me. So many people perform this fugue with too many ornaments and as fast as they can. While impressive, it can definetly detract from the music. Anyways, fine job! I enjoy your channel.
Dear Hearts, many years ago, when I was in college, I became friends with a Music major whose instrument was the organ. He had an upcoming recital and was rehearsing in The auditorium. He knew I adored this piece. He never let anyone watch him rehearse....until one might he let me sit and listen. He played this and I burst into tears. He told me that when he played this at the recital, that he'd play it for me. Again, I dissolved in tears. I lost touch with him and his brother once I graduated. I found out a few years ago that he and his brother both passed away....far too soon. This piece has a special place in my heart. Thank you, Biff (and Jeff). Thank you for bringing such beauty through music..and thank you for the gift of playing this for me. All Love
Absolutely beautiful! One of my favorite pieces! I never played the organ, but because J.S. Bach is my favorite composer, it is interestingly enough my favorite instrument. I often wonder what it feels like to play a sublime piece like this one at that level. The emotional and spiritual connection must be surreal... Thank you so much for showing us what you can do and for giving us beautiful music to enjoy!!!
I have one direct fan towards my organist life, a lady close to my heart, after every service I would play while everyone else are drinking coffee and tea but she would get her refreshments and come sit down as I play the organ, I've celebrated my 28th year as church and concert organist in April this year and it was awesome as for she turned the sheet music and draw and pushed stops for me
I fell in love with Bach because of the "Little Fugue in G minor" played on, of all places, a Styx album. This is a wonderfully done version. Thank you so much.
WOW! Styx is one of my favorite bands and The Grand Illusion my favorite records! I think the year may have been 1963 when I was 12yo. I was at a neighbors house, and her guest played some of this piece, got up and said, "that's Bach! I had to know Bach!😁
I can definitely see Hans Zimmer being inspired by this piece when he was composing for Interstellar. This was beautiful, thank you for the excellent performance!
This is a lovely organ sound and beautiful rendition. That being said I have also heard some magnificent virtual pipe organs such as the instruments played by Doug Marshall (RUclips) on organs his company manufacture.

Very elegant and enjoyable playing. IMHO this is exactly the way Bach wanted this piece to be played. Well done !!

Nice technique, lyrical and so nice to hear all parts distinctly.. Nicely played.. Bach is smiling!
Thank you so much...I should hope so about his smiling :))
one of my favorite versions of little fugue on RUclips, I keep coming back to this and rewinding over and over
Thank you so much!!
Nice to hear this so well articulated and not drowned out by melodramatic stop choices, thanks for this, a delight to listen to

Great rendition AND played on an Organ! Thanks for this…you made my morning
Thank you!!
Wow, I didn't realize that Sheldon, from the Big Bang Theory series was such a fine and accomplished organist!
Life is full of surprises, isn't it? :)
Is that REALLY Jim Parsons or is it Sandro Russo? From the side they somewhat resemble each other. Whoever it is, it’s a helluva good performance.👍🏻
Very well! I also like the sound of the Austin Organ!
Thank you!
Wunderful! Please more Bach :)
Magnificent. I played on my Steinway, but it is meant and much better on the organ to fully represent the depth of this wonderful piece.
I like so much this great piece...i discovered it in 1999 with orchestral version arranged by Eugène Ormandy
what a masterpiece !
I like the pedal part legato like you did it.
Thank you! The church acoustics partly suggested that. So glad you liked it!

excellent

If Bach knew electric organ・・・
Play this in church and the pews will fill up again
What kind of organ is this? Thank you in advance!
It's an Austin organ
Nicely played. Has anyone ever told you that you look like Mehdi Sadaghdar from the "electro Boom" youtube channel?
Thank you! No, nobody has told me that :D
Is it real or just electric? I can't really tell the difference between them.
It is real :)

What an utterly ridiculous comment. Like he needs you to teach him how to interpret Bach.
Technically brilliant, but lacking in soul, in my opinion.
The soul comes from the pieces itself and less from the performance in my Opinion. At least with there kind of pieces.
