Thank you for this. I have a solid 68 US spec MGB, LHD for restoration, with the fairground style padded dashboard, which is so horrible it deters you from bothering. The answer is to put an original in from an earlier model, so that is what I am going to do. Your videos are very helpful as I prepare myself for this challenge.
I was going to fit an “original” dash however as you might have seen in the videos the scuttle panel is narrower on the US spec model I have which is a 74 model so I’m a bit stuck with the wrinkle finish fibreglass one that is fitted. I didn’t even know there were different width scuttle panels. Cheers Marty
